February 20, 2019 5.0 Adobe Spark has allowed me to create more and better content in the shortest possible time. What takes more time is the definition of identity for your brand, but once the set up has been made it is relatively easy to start creating content immediately. Pros What I like most about Adobe Spark is the variety of formats in which content can be created, ranging from text only to videos that can be easily edited. The creation of templates facilitates the use and reduces the production time for simple content. Teachers also enjoy using it to create flyers for their classrooms and educational content to use with their students for specific lessons. Pros Adobe Spark is the perfect tool for student and teacher creation! Adobe Spark Post, Page, and Video are easy to use and make producing content a viable option in the classroom. Adobe Spark is used widely in Anderson One across K-12 classrooms and in a variety of content areas. Cons We are very happy with the edu access we have as teachers and students! The one suggestion would be to update the sharing settings students have within edu. For larger or more complex projects you would have to move to the appropriate adobe application but for things I want to get done quickly it works. Pros As I am not a designer, being able to come up with simple graphics quickly has been very nice. It is extremely easy to use, with included pictures and icons to get you started right away. I've used it to create website graphics and YouTube thumbnails. The process is easy and only took a few minutes to get it started. It being in a browser makes it easy to start and stop your projects on the go. Cons Resizing text and icons can be a hassle. Things like getting a certain sized line across the page can be counter intuitive because the longer it gets it also expands in thickness. I've countered this by duplicating lines of the same size and putting them back to back. Cons There were some bugs in mobile applications. Especially in Adobe Express, sometimes when I Change a font style, it got struct and my design got rearranged automatically to the Intial stage. IT has saved me TONS of time of not having to open Photoshop when I need something quick. Pros I really like how Adobe Spark makes it super easy to coordinate my branding, colors, and fonts across all it's designs. I can start a new project, and it will automatically suggest ideas that match my brand with different design elements. With a click of a "mixer" button, it will change the design but still match my brand. Cons It's a little frustrating that everything is so automatic. There are a few tweaks that I would like to make, but it keeps making suggestions instead of giving me complete design freedom, but I guess that's what Photoshop is for. A simple post can be made within minutes and I think that's the best feature. Pros I love the easy to use interface that is made for everyone to adjust to quickly. The quality that is produced is amazing considering the cost. I love editing pictures on lightroom, and it's so convenient for sorting through pictures, or editing multiple shots at a time. Also love the new versions feature. Cons I don't like that it's extremely complicated to change your plan, manage your subscription, chat with a representative, etc. It gives major scam vibes, even though I know it's a reputable company. I feel like transparency and making subscription management easier would really improve people's perception of the company. Pros The best part of this software is how easy it is to use and how many templates you have to use. You can choose several dozen different templates for any occasion. Social media templates are perfect as well. All you need to do is choose what you want and modify it to your needs. Cons While it is super easy to use, you will need to have some basic understanding of how design and editing work. But the tutorials are also easy to learn and you can get started quickly. While I don’t use Express for everything, I’ve found that it is a nice tool to have for creating quick content on the fly. Pros Express is very easy to use and extremely user friendly. The templates that are available are top quality and the galleries of content to choose from are great inspiration. Cons Not all the content is available for free.
