Especially for events that are short lived and should require a lot of work (or a custom website). Pros I love how easy it is to use the software and make something look very professional. It's really a drag and drop type system that works very well for simple sites/projects. Cons No matter how much you try, it looks templated. So it's not for custom websites or social media materials. October 16, 2020 5.0 Generally, Adobe Spark is good to play around with. There are some fun things that it can facilitate and I definately love the templates. The interface is also nice and I love the fact that it is cloud based, that's real conveinient. So, all in all, hats of to Adobe, they are doing some wonderful stuff as far as technology and innnovation is concerned; Spark is real handy. Pros Outside my Job as a Customer Service Agent, I do Graphic Designing and Video Editing. I am apart of a non-profit charitable organization and we bought the whole Adobe Suite; I find Spark to be really conveinient and interesting. Spark is capable of making web pages, flyers, posters among other lovely graphics but what I love about it most is it's ability to create fast videos. I particularly used it to create slideshow videos where I add a few awesome pictures and the program does the rest; there are lovely templates to choose from with awesome transitions and whenever I need to do a quick simple professional video, it gets the job done. Cons In terms of video Editing ofcourse it's not feature rich like Premiere pro, If I do need to customize my video some more I could always use Premeire Pro or After Effects. I do hope though that in the future they add some more features to the video editing aspect of Spark, I'm curious to see what how that will turn out. Review Source JR Jürgen R. I also liked the opportunity for a small fee to access very good templates. Cons Adobe Spark can be used to illustrate posts or not-so-serious articles. But it has a limit in quality. It has a ton of custom options and makes the process really fun. Cons I don't like that you have to have a watermark applied to the finished product, but I believe you can pay for that to be removed. From a teacher’s perspective, it is handy that so many elements are drag and drop—and that Google log-ins are possible. Quite easy to use with students. Not much of a learning curve, which is nice! Cons Once a person (or student) gets past the basics, parts of the tool can be—basic. There isn’t much possibility for customization, so if multiple people/students are creating using Spark, chances are good they will start to look similar. Cons The projects are laid out nicely. Sometimes it is difficult to figure out where to do with the project but they do take you through in steps to help you think about what you want to include in a project. Pros Adobe Spark is really easy to figure out on the fly - my interns have used this program to make simple social graphics despite many not having Adobe Suite experience. It is easy to upload graphics and fonts and use those instead of the preset ones. The graphics we download from Spark are consistently clear and beautiful. Cons There are some glitches, such as the font changing when reopening a project (the font will italicize or bolden between editing sessions). The tools are also pretty limited, but that is expected since it is an online tool that is much simpler than Photoshop or InDesign. But it's always one of the first tools we recommend to our clients for creating in-house content for their social media channels. It really is fun and dead simple to get started. Pros Adobe Spark makes it fun to create quick bite-size content for social media. I especially love Spark Video, and it's super user-friendly interface. It can also help jog some inspiration if you create a decent amount of ads and posts and feel some creative fatigue. Cons I get that it has a direct purpose, and therefore is defined and slimmed down in its abilities - but if you're use to constantly creating images on something like Adobe Photoshop than Spark can feel a bit limiting.
