It’s convenient for me to use the program on my mobile device, with which I can perform editing from anywhere. Cons The program lacks most of the features that are available in Photoshop, Illustrator, and Lightroom. Periodically, glitches appear in the program, but they disappear when you re-enter the site. Pros Adobe Spark has been a great alternative to photoshop for creating our social media posts and graphics. Love all the templates for text, text shapes and styles. Even coworkers, who don't have a design background, can make beautiful, professional looking graphics with Spark's intuitive interface. Cons I can't say anything really negative about this software. Yes, it makes designing time a lot quicker...but I guess the only drawback is you get sucked in to trying all the wonderful options for layout, backgrounds, text treatment etc. Review Source JG Jersson G. Pros The high quality pre-made templates make it easy to quickly create and modify content on the go. The remix tool on mobile is invaluable because it allows you to quickly see different versions of your design. This is great when you're short on time and resources. Cons There's very little not too like, but like all software in case use some improvements. For example, on mobile, if you're deep in a project, it isn't easy to quickly "undo" a change. However, as you cannot get the full benefit of it without paying, I prefer to use Canva. Pros I like how user friendly it is for someone with little graphic design experience to create simple, beautiful graphics for using online. You can create social media graphics, slideshows and even online portfolios- which is perfect for freelancers. It functions similarly to Canva and Crello, but with slightly different functions and with added features of being able to create videos too. Cons As with any software, to get the best use out of it you need to pay for it to remove the Adobe Watermark and to have full use. March 3, 2020 5.0 I do highly recommend Adobe Spark just like any other software from Adobe. It is easy to manage, and you can get creative when using the software to make any project come to life. Pros Adobe Spark is just what you would expect when you need help with the web no matter if its a campaign, team project, a design, club or just for fun with friends. Get different fonts, templates and photos to make your content stand out from everyone else. In some ways, this is like power point software but with much more. Cons This software is very heavy, in other words this software has a lot of different things to do, you kind of get overwhelmed with it all at once. Pros I like the simplicity provided by this software. Being able to not only choose from several templates but also being able to easily click and create a webpage from scratch for presentations is great. Users are able to jump in without much training, and the software even automatically cites images if used from the search tool. The external source embedding also works great. Cons I did not like the initial creation process as it was difficult to figure out how to update my link after making changes to a published page. This became an issue for at least a few of my users. Not being able to access Photoshop or other tools to create posts is a huge hassle so being able to create basic posts with Spark is a huge help. Cons With all apps comes limitations. Pros Spark is an extremely easy to use video presentation software. In half the time it would have taken to build a PowerPoint slide presentation, I was able to create a 5 minute video presentation with gifs, pictures, and custom music. Cons I wish there were more choices for the layout portion with templates. The color schemes offered are a little lack luster. Switched from [Microsoft PowerPoint](https://www.capterra.com/p/141633/PowerPoint/) I wanted to change up the typical presentation format and make it more fun and modern than a standard slide presentation. Their projects can be anything from a summary of a daily lesson to an end of semester project that takes them a few weeks to work on. Cons Like a lot of other free software similar to this, there is a watermark unless you upgrade to a paid verson. Not a dealbreaker for student use, but if you’re using this as a one-off for social media projects you’ll probably want to look elsewhere. Cons Although very easy to use, the software does forfeit a few functions that can make it somewhat limiting for the advanced user. February 27, 2020 5.0 Love it! Easy, powerful, and able to create things and then scale each item for different social media uses. It made creating events and promotions soooo easy. Keep up the great work for us design novices! Pros Spark was so easy to start and use. It was nice to be able to add your own images and then add your own pieces to the media. As someone who is not great at design, having a wheel you can spin to automatically change text fonts, colors, etc to see how it looks is awesome. They do the work and you just look for one that you like. I also love that you can resize things automatically to use within Instagram and Facebook so your images and promotions fit in the sizes given without you guessing. Love it! Once you are done you can download it in so many different file types. The power of Spark is awesome! Cons Using it for free there was nothing I did not like about the software. It is super easy to create an image that perfectly meets the technical requirement of all key social platforms so that you can focus on creative things instead of anxiously checking image requirements. Pros Extremely easy to use; It allows instantly producing brand-consistent images and videos from any place with an internet connection; It let turn anyone into a content creator and immediately amplify their design and editing skills Cons Price is pretty stip unless you purchase a Spark as a part of the CC package.
