Pros Adobe Spark was an incredibly simple and intuitive way to create social media graphic assets. The best part of the software is how fast you can create something. Cons The only con to Adobe Spark is that there are some limitations to what you can do with graphics. Given that it's not really designed to do intense graphic editing, this is a very minor limitation. They have lots of templates and free pictures to choose from. You can easily change the font and the layout. You can even create your own from scratch. If you like more customization, the app also offers this - for example, you can use a custom font color by inserting the RGB code. Also, you can choose from different sizes - you can design for Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc (or custom dimensions). Cons I would find a "redo" button very useful. Other than that, I haven't found any other downsides until now. If you're not learned in Adobe Illustrator or other programs that take a little while to learn, this should solve your problem. Pros What I liked most about this software is that you can make videos easily and they look really professional. The options that Adobe has with this program takes your social video making skills to the next level if you don't have a ton of time. Cons What I like least about this software is that it is cost prohibitive if you're not already paying for the cloud. I also don't like that there is a bit of a learning curve. When you tried to cancel rather than just being able to cancel the service their customer retetntion was relentless in trying to get you to stay with them. Pros I feel that for the price this product is not very user friendly. We ended up canceling our service as we are limited on the amount of computers we could use with account and the price was not worth the value of the product. This seems like a ridiculous decision unless they are going to upcharge me later for that feature (which seems likely considering the Adobe model). That seems to kind of relegate this product to something only useable by a marketing person without any understanding of how to use any of the other Adobe products that can do what this program does better. Lastly, anyone who has a paid Adobe Creative Cloud subscription plan can remove the Adobe Spark watermark that gets placed on the final project. Pros Adobe Spark is a free to use collage creator app that is hosted in the cloud. The user-interface is much simpler and easier than a standard Creative Cloud app, which makes the learning curve truly slim to none. It has an interactive display that allows for easy drag and drop editing. Additionally, the program features an auto-formatting option that puts your selected photos into a template. As someone who works in marketing and sometimes needs assets expeditiously features like this can be incredibly valuable. Cons The primary functional problem I came across was reformatting photo cells within the collage. It's easy to format photos within the cell, but attempting to move a photo cell without losing the formatting in regards to the photo placement and dimension sizing isn't possible within a template. Cons The simplicity of the app is both a pro and a con for me. It's easy to make graphics quickly on the fly, but with that simplicity comes a lack of more robust features. Now, to create something more in-depth, I'd likely use a desktop application from Adobe such as Photoshop or Illustrator. But it would be great for Spark to have a few more features available.
