Pros

I store my phone call data on Amazon S3, my phone system automatically uploads the calls to S3 and stores them for 6 months without me having to go in and clean up,

Cons

cost to download the calls out, I'm paying for the storage, I thought it would be free to get access to them when i needed them.

Random "reconnecting.... " comes up throughout the day, even though I do sign out of AWS daily. I have AWS on my right monitor, but when I come back from lunch, it's on my left monitor (not sure why it moves).

Pros

The 'pro' would be I now can work remotely if I choose to, without having to use an RDC to my work computer.

Cons

There's a few things (maybe just environmental), that are not as user friendly. Typically when I'm connected to a remote desktop, I can drag+drop a file from one desktop to another. AWS doesn't let me do that. I had to install Amazon WorkDocs in AWS and on my local side, and save the files there in order to access them. Not a show-stopper, but when ones accustomed to a quick drag+drop, this definitely took some getting used to.

I am very satisfied with S3 as I use it for both my work and personal.

Pros

It is very easy to uses even for non-technical users. It has different storage tiers it means I can only pay small amounts for my backups.

Cons

The User Interface seems to be outdated. It needs to be modernized to make it more accessible. Also I'd like this to have some AI to tell me the best storage tier for each of my files based on my usage.

What I like most about Amazon S3 is that's a reliable cloud storage that is low-latency and provides us with confidence our data is safe/secure and easily accessible.

Cons

There isn't anything I dislike about Amazon S3, so I don't have anything I can say I like the least, no issues.

This is where I maintain the host of my website, it has been quite cheap and has not caused me any problems.

Pros

The service to be able to make your own web page and be able to host it is very simple with amazon. In addition to that it is very cheap.

Cons

For non-developers the platform becomes confusing. Because the basic language does not exist. So it is necessary to use tutorials to be able to perform the task you need.

Pros

Amazon Web Services helps you build your business and gives you all the tools needed. It is easy to use and doesn't cost too much for what is provided.

Cons

What I dislike about Amazon web services is sometimes there are issues with backing up and security. Lack of support when needed.

If you're worried about high traffic websites then look no further. S3 is a beast.

Pros

The pay as you go pricing changed the game. I use it with Cloudberry for very inexpensive file backups. Also great for high traffic websites since it scales infinitely.

Cons

It can be difficult to configure at first. Make sure to read up on security settings and best practices so you don't have to change any of that years later.

I've been using AWS S3 with Cloudfront as a CDN for my upcoming product and once I was done with the initial setup, it's been a rock solid service from day one.

Pros

The features they provide with the kind of reliability and security is outstanding. The pricing is dirt cheap.

Cons

The setup process can be a little tricky. There are too many options to fine tune which might seem daunting at first.

Amazon S3 provides you with the efficient and cost effective storage solution. You can store your any kind of data on S3. Most of the AWS services can directly communicate with S3 which makes work a lot simpler. It is globally available service, hence region based limitation do not apply to it.

Cons

Its UI panel is not that good. Files and Folders can be shown in a much more presentable way.

I least Amazon S3 pricing which is sometimes confusing because they charge data transfer from the region to which it originates from.

We set it up quickly and now store all of our essential product data including item details and photos and easily push them to our website.

Pros

S3 is an easy to use, quick to set up and configure program. We utilize a program to resize and standardize product images for our e-commerce business, and we push these images directly to S3 for storage.

Cons

I have no complaints about S3. Some people may not like the security hoops, but if a competitor gets a hold of your media or your data, you can go out of business. Let alone a cyber attack where hackers ransom content or media.

It was very easy to start up my first machine and get going. I started with a provided image and customized it from there. I did run into some weird issues with related services, like Route 53, but thankfully support documents straightened everything out.

Pros

I like how easy it was to get going and scale up with automation.

Cons

Since it is very full-featured, it is pretty daunting seeing all the myriad options and it can get confusing.
