We love it and so do our donors. Pros Not only does Fundraise Up power our online giving (and acknowledgments), but they have a number of elements to enhance giving on an org's website. If you visit our website now, you'll likely see the "social proof" element, which highlights giving for whichever campaign the org enables. Also, the pre-gift and post-gift upgrades to monthly giving has been a powerful tool for growing our recurring gift program without much staff lift. For example, in the first two months of 2026 alone, we had 88 new monthly donors sign up through FRU. Cons We have had a couple of savvy donors question why the fee is so high when they opt to cover transaction fees. There is a shared purpose with transparency and authenticity along the way. Many vendors try too hard to 'sell' their features and benefits. Fundraise Up presents themselves as collaborators and problem solvers and not a 'band aid' to fix broken systems. I'm grateful for their guidance and partnership during our entire transition and we are finding more and more benefits of the platform that will continue to increase our fundraising efforts. Pros I appreciate that Fundraise Up is constantly iterating to improve their product based on customer feedback. Their philosophy is that they are not successful unless the client is successful and we have found that to be true. Cons It's hard to identify a 'least' favorite related to Fundraise Up when our experience has been largely positive. One thing I might address is some of/how the data gets pushed to our CRM through the integrations isn't ideal. But these are issues the team is trying to help us resolve. They offer so many great features and have been great for the years we've used the platform. Pros I enjoy the ease of the system and how much it can elevate the fundraising experience for your donors. With access to amazing elements, a reporting dashboard, and a donor portal, FundraiseUp does it all and for free. They do not charge for the platform use but based on each gift transaction at a competitive rate. The platform is easy to learn once you get into it. FundraiseUp offers multifactor authentication so you never have to worry about your donor's information being at risk. The platform also allows you to invite other team members on different permission based systems for what you'd need. Their customer and technical support teams have also been great whenever I needed their assistance. Cons The only con I could say about FundraiseUp is that they currently do not have event management software but they have assured me that it's on the roadmap. Love the product and constantly recommend it to other nonprofit friends. Pros Fundraise Up is an incredibly user-friendly platform that's on the cutting edge of the latest digital fundraising trends. We've been nothing but pleased with how easy it is to use the tool and the seamless check out process it offers our donors. Cons There's very small tweaks I would make to the product. Some additional reportable fields I wish were available such as a total transaction fee field. There are also some fields with the Virtuous integration I wish were available. Their peer-to-peer tool isn't as robust as Classy, but my understanding is their actively improving it. I also find the software very feature rich. Cons My dislikes are very infrequent. The platform is secure, intuitive, and thoughtfully designed to maximize donor giving while creating an excellent experience for our supporters. It has helped us increase recurring donations, improve conversion rates, and streamline our online fundraising efforts. The interface is easy to navigate, integrations work well with our existing systems, and the reporting provides valuable insights for our team. Customer support has also been responsive and knowledgeable whenever we've needed assistance. Overall, Fundraise Up has become an essential part of our fundraising strategy, and we would confidently recommend it to any nonprofit looking to improve its online giving experience and grow donor support. Pros What impressed us most about Fundraise Up is how much it improves both the donor experience and our fundraising results. Features like recurring giving prompts, suggested donation amounts, digital wallets, and employer matching have helped increase both our average gift size and the number of recurring donors. Fundraise Up has become an important part of our fundraising strategy and has delivered measurable value for our organization. Cons One area that could be improved is the campaign setup workflow. Currently, creating a campaign and then adding donation elements requires navigating between separate sections and re-entering information that has already been provided. It would be much more efficient if campaigns and their associated donation elements could be created and managed from the same interface, eliminating duplicate data entry and reducing the need to switch back and forth between tabs. A more streamlined workflow would save time, especially for organizations that frequently launch new campaigns or seasonal appeals. It would also reduce the chance of inconsistencies between campaign settings and donation forms. While this isn't a major issue and certainly doesn't outweigh the platform's many strengths, simplifying the campaign creation process would improve the overall user experience and make an already excellent platform even more efficient for nonprofit teams.
