This program doesn't overload you with all of these button, prompts and unnecessary baggage. Just straight and to the point, like scheduling should be. Pros First and foremost the customer service is next to none. With a personal account "success manager", we were able to get up and running, with initial training given to the entire company. Then we got down into the weeds as PMs which allowed us to help the superintendents. Cons There are some complications when it comes to tying activities together. Whether that be allowing predecessors and successors to be tied together in the lookahead, or how to show and hide certain items that should remain internal. Switched from [Microsoft Project Server Subscription Edition](https://www.capterra.com/p/238840/Project-Server/) Project was a little too basic and just lent into our supers just doing their own Excel schedule and not having a cloud based schedule. Getting familiar with a different scheduling software and all the tricks that need to be learned. There is nothing else like it that I have used for scheduling, that is this advanced and easy to use! You can even update the schedule accurately on your iPad in the field! Pros Outbuild has dramatically increased our efficiency and coordination to stay on schedule! During my foremen meetings, I have helped to collaborate with our foremen on a 3-week lookahead to get their buy-in! We now even have a few foremen chiming in on what their order of work looks like. This is a huge advancement for the industry, and within the two companies I’ve worked for that adapted this software, it has helped us young guys a lot! Cons Outbuild is stellar! There are a few bugs that need fixing but nothing that stops you from becoming more efficient on your jobsites. Now that I have many hours in, I am impressed with the ease of scheduling my trades. We have schedule meetings where we require the foremen to collaborate on the schedule, and Outbuild makes that very easy. When we have issues or suggestions, customer service is very on the ball and gets us real-time answers and fixes. In the six months I have been using Outbuild, I have seen constant improvements to the program, some of which I have helped to shape. Pros Easy to use, helps trade collaboration. Easy for trades to understand and follow the schedule. Cons Relatively new software, so they are still working through some things- but changes are made quickly. It has made training and implementation a much easier process, and our teams have really taken to it from day one." Pros Very easy to train teams on the software. Integration in procore as well as between the overall schedule and lookahead is great. Cons Some of the output and lack of customization can be frustrating for some teams. Lookahead especially.
