Paid to test the product over 24hrs. Didn't find it met our needs or as polished / professional as alternative products, so engaged with support to request a refund, and was told that their policy is to keep the money.

Pros

\- good staff UI for inputting orders and KDS- good access to backend data for export- open API (not tested)- seems to have most of the features a hospitality venue needs- \[sensitive content hidden\] is also developer (and support?) so if you can get access to him, he will consider building features you need

Cons

\- poor online documentation. When I couldn't work out how to do something, or a feature didn't work as expected, would have to email support and be told "you're not using it correctly". So forced to remember how to use the system, rather than be guided by documentation.- "cloud based" giving you the ability to edit online, but unable to edit if the POS device is not turned on. Not helpful if your business is closed for the evening and you are wanting to make edits overnight.- editing CMS i.e. for updating menu items, is on at HTTP url, which doesn't instil confidence in web security for this feature or other features on the platform. Still requires POS device to be turned on.- csv upload / download functionality has some teething issues that need to be fixed e.g. data downloaded doesn't match data that you'd upload, and product category edits not supported.- not as cheap as it seems- NO FREE TRIAL, and- very limited support in Australia (Malaysia based with some lead time to response), so we were forced to pay for a subscription to test the product.- no phone based support- After trialling the product (for 24hrs) and finding issues with some features, and not ready to use the product, response from \[sensitive content hidden\]: "really sorry, but we have a strict no refund policy." This to us is the biggest red flag in using mobiPOS because the company appears to be more motivated by money with "strict policies" to keep your money, rather than helping the customer.

Pros

Very customisable. Card terminal integration works really well and is very quick. Absolutely no issues with KDS synchronisation. I would definitely recommend

There's lots of options but once you get used to it it's great.

We have used Mobipos since it was a free app a number of years ago. Initially, we only used it for takeaway orders and ran it alongside our other POS (at the time it was POSLavu). After using it for a year or so we decided to ditch POSLavu and went all MobiPOS. We've found the support to be exceptional. The support is through facebook messenger but we've never had an issue getting the answers we needed. We run three ordering terminals, 5 iPhones that work as ordering devices, seven KDS screens on ipads, and one thermal printer. Even in very high volume times, Mobipos works fine for us. I've looked at a lot of other options which are expensive and probably not as user-friendly. I think for the number of terminals and ordering devices we use, MobiPOS is very good value for money. We love it.

Ease of set up Very customisable Reliable Fast Split bill feature works great and is very easy to use

Cons

A little be hard to work out the purchasing options at first.

the worst company I ever had to deal with

Pros

that it as available on iTunes, but noting more. what a joke of a product

Cons

very inferior product . they take no responsibility and don't take care of there costumers. very poor costumer care. companies that don't offer refunds don't believe in there products. If there product would be great, they would not be afraid to offer a refund because it would almost never happen! be aware , mobi pos is a money making scheme

We replied to all your messages, offered help and solutions to your technical issue, you ignore all of those but spending your precious time to give us bad review everywhere you could find us. We offer 14 days free trial and after the trial if you are still not confident with it, you could try out our 3 months subscription. We very much believe in our product that is why we do not offer refund. Moreover we constantly improve and update the app. We asked for your feedback on which segment our app compromised, you disregard our message. Sorry for what you are going through, we have a strict no refund policy and if you changed your mind without any reason, it does not mean that MobiPOS is running a money making scheme. We have 4,000 users worldwide using our app, receiving an average of 4.5/5 stars rating. We won't be able to get that far if our app is as described.
