I would highly recommend Origami Connect as an affordable way to enhance your existing SharePoint site. Pros Powerful features that integrated seamlessly with our existing SharePoint site, enabling us to enhance our site much more cost-effectively that buying another intranet platform. Cons Some of the features did not work correctly initially with our existing SharePoint site. However, this was due to how our existing site was set up and Origami had an excellent technical support team that worked tirelessly to get everything working quickly and smoothly. Pros We recently implemented Origami Connect’s web parts in preparation for launching our new SharePoint-based employee website, and the results have been fantastic. The web parts addressed the gaps we were experiencing with the out-of-the-box SharePoint design limitations and allowed us to deliver a cohesive, branded, and user-friendly experience for our employees. The tools made it easy to create a modern, engaging site that is simple to navigate and visually appealing. Installation and setup were seamless, and the web parts were very intuitive to use. We also found the product to be great value for money. On the occasions we had questions, the Origami Connect support team was responsive and helpful, which gave us extra confidence in our choice. We were able to consult, purchase, and start using Origami all within a week. Origami elevated the look and feel of our newly built SharePoint intranet. The features provided by Origami have been well received by our stakeholders across the organization. Pros Origami Connect provides great value for its price point and product. It's visually compelling and very easy to manage as an addition to your SharePoint intranet. Support is provided for each web part Origami creates so it is easy for users to implement on their SharePoint. Cons At this time, I do not have anything in particular that I like the least about Origami Connect. Some web parts are used a little differently than the web parts provided by SharePoint. We really have gotten much better colleague engagement using this on our internal sites and it has made people more excited to learn and use the new elements we have through Origami. Cons There are very few things I dislike, but sometimes there is a particular element or design I wish I could change a bit more. Building an Intranet can be overwhelmingly challenging regarding the basic understanding of an Intranet, especially if you don't have on-premises experts or even beginners. Origami Connect provides a solution that starts at the foundation and builds from there. It is not just about buying a template and then saying now what? It is about the time taken to determine what a company hopes to achieve, even if it has no idea itself. Origami Connect takes time to ask the right questions, guides and listens, and provides the foundation and design that builds a usable, appealing intranet for any size company. Pros Origami Connect was invaluable. Their expertise, experience, and understanding helped transform a SharePoint Intranet that had yet to move forward after several years into a usable, appealing Intranet for our staff. Introducing SharePoint to a healthcare group can be challenging. Working with Origami Connect helped the adoption move forward quickly.
