Pros: The amount of internal organization this software has, has propelled the rate at which I'm able to get work done. I absolutely love the way you can filter through your emails based on an almost mind boggling amount of search fields. I especially love the attachment filter, as so many of my emails have pictures and PDFs. Even further, the interface for the server is very legible, and as you click through to your emails, the new windows cascade and expand to the right, making it easy to quickly scan for necessary information. The extra applications/plug-ins such as Group Calendars, Streams, Tasks, etc. make internal company communication SO EASY! Honestly, I could talk about the inter-connectivity of the software all day. Not to mention, it's very easy to configure your email with a custom domain server, and as a webmaster, that's just one less headache I want to deal with.

Cons: I first started using Zoho Mail when I was still learning how to write basic HTML and CSS code, and at the time there was a bit of a learning curve for myself when it came to the initial setup of the product. Some of the vocabulary I had yet to learn was throughout the email client, and made it somewhat hard to understand exactly what I was doing. With that being said, Zoho has literally hundreds of resources that are both directly from the company, and from other reliable sources, on how to overcome the "language barrier" and take you through the setup process set by step. So, although there is a learning curve with certain steps, there's still innumerable amounts of resources to help you through the process.

Overall: I ended up learning a lot about the finer points of running a business. By being able to set up my own FREE email server, I now have my own "place" to host all of my work related emails, organize them to my liking, and further share it with the rest of my employees. With the Streams folders, it makes general communication between employees quick and easy, and moderated for appropriateness. It's an incredibly secure way to build a platform for business related communication, both with customers, and with my own team. Overall, this is one of the programs I accredit my budding success (and sanity) to.

Pros: My experience with Zoho mail has been best since I started using it. Simple User Interface and advance features helped our organization in different ways. Zoho Mail's inbuilt features like Notes and Task creator helped me in keeping the record of important points and memorizing the targets. Any beginners can easily use Zoho mail without any prior training as it is very simple. The speed of the Zoho mail is excellent and it never put any email on delay which makes my clients satisfied and brought more business for us.

Further, you can also create an email group to have better interaction amongst all the team members. Now worry if you don't like the color and layout of you Zoho within few clicks you can change it. Sometimes I had to schedule some emails and it worked very well as emails were got delivered at the right time. I like Zoho mail due its speed, quality and instant customer support

Cons: Even though Zoho mail is the best business email service provider but there is also one issue which I used to face frequently. There is pop up comes which informs about memory exhausted but in actual it did not happen. This is an annoying pop up message and sometime it halt the email services for a short time

Overall: On summing up, I would like to say my experience with Zoho has been good. Simple layout, speed, and advanced features are things which make me remain on Zoho mail. Anyway, It also helped our organization to deal with clients in a professional way. There is always an opportunity for improvement but Zoho mail is still beneficial for small and large scale organizations.

Pros: What I like about zoho mail is that it is an excellent alternative to traditional email providers, it offers you a service without any publicity which is very much appreciated, you have the option to open a personal email with zoho or if you prefer an email business at very competitive prices, zoho interface seems very clean and functional, you can modify it from the configuration, which has many options to change and customize your email, has very practical modes of notifications as it groups you emails electronic devices according to the order of priority given to them, so that they are ordered and ready for the corresponding reading. It has a version for each device that is needed and it really is very practical and the emails arrive instantly.

Cons: What I do not like is that in the free option you do not have the pop and imap options are only available for the payment option so it is impossible to use the zoho client to receive or send your emails to other platforms if you do not make a payment and you subscribe to their service, on the other hand the pc client is quite deficient, it is a web version of reduced proportions, and you can not configure other accounts unless you close the session of the main account.

Overall: In general, work with zoho is good, despite the points against, the mail of zoho has all the options to be an excellent service provider, the mobile and web versions I think are the best, has multiple options and On the other hand, it offers the free option to host the business mail of your company if you have your own domain, but depending on the domain it can be for 25 accounts or less.

How can anyone go wrong with exceptional service and support? After all, it's FREE.

Comments: Have utilized Zoho for a few years now. Found it available as an alternative to gmail with concerns for privacy and available support. Even though back in those times Zoho did not offer any mobile apps, I found Zoho to be be of a great value and strong potential to build a great value proposition to their users. And... My expectations came to fruition. Zoho has not let me down. Today I had to find out why one of my messages (an important one, if I may add) was not delivered to a recipient. I copied the subject, time stamp, "to" credentials and sent it to support@zohomail.com. 12 hours later I received a thoughtful and thorough explanations (with visual data backing-up) on why my e-mail WAS delivered, but recipients server filtering out and deleting it through their spam protection. Steps were offered to remedy such instance not to happen in the future. I was "floored..." Today I have noticed that their Android and iPhone apps are present and function very well. Integration with mail clients is a breeze to configure. "Cloud" and support of such is available and we have no issues using it. Overall, I'm impressed with Zoho and their growing pains are very limited. From user perspective - I have not noticed any hurdles or bugs or goofy approaches to simplified mail service approach. Their new e-mail interface was not pushed onto me, but suggested to use. Still not sure if I like it and the option to revert to "old" and proven interface is still there for me in case I change my mind. How can anyone go wrong with such service if it is FREE, I thought?! When I'm asked to provide my e-mail, I proudly spell out "@-Z-O-H-O.com" and questions follow - "What is Zoho?" My typical answer is - "One of my best kept secrets..." I was one of the first to sign-up with gmail and am glad I discovered Zoho to be one of their first users as well. Give them a try - they are working out their support streamline and response SLAs are acceptable.

Pros: Free Short support SLAs Android, iPhon apps Ability to scale up or down in pricing depending on your needs Stable mail platform Courteous and Polite associates Cloud storage Many options for businesses for paid and free accounts

Cons: None that I have found so far

Pros: I was a first-time email administrator using this software, and it was intuitive to set up, with many help articles and tutorials available.

As a user, I love all the functionality available through Zoho tools that I was not getting through Gmail. I also much prefer the interface to both Hotmail and Gmail.

Cons: Despite me putting in too much work setting up and managing email routing rules, they have never worked as well as some other email clients. Things get routed to Spam that have been marked safe, and other emails don't always make it in the right folder that items from that sender should automatically route to. The big players figured this out long ago, so it feels like a big step back.

Overall: I was attracted to Zoho for a small private enterprise because I could bring my own domain name. I appreciated its ease in setting up and use and the ability to have 25 users with a free account. The tool suite is rich and deep, although I don't use all of that functionality. Zoho provides a great user experience at a fraction of the cost of some of the big players. When my boss was looking at a new suite last year, I actually pitched it to her because I had such a great experience with it personally.

Be aware that space with free accounts is limited to 5 GB, and if you have more than four users in your organization, your total outgoing emails between all of your is limited to 200 a day. Even with these limitations, it works great for us.

Perfect for what we needed!

Pros: When all other email providers stopped allowing you to connect a domain name, Zoho Mail didn't. Best of all, they kept it free. You are able to quickly set up your account with their helpful guides, and get email services working almost instantaneously. I use it for all of my businesses, and each has its own custom domain name, so Zoho is indispensable. The support team is great, super polite people here, and work hard to help with whatever they can.

Cons: I hate the new theme. It loads very slowly, I wish we could choose old vs new version. Lately when I log in there have been new domain things that need done quite often, which is kind of a hassle as when I check my domain servers, I'd already done those things and Zoho just needed them refreshed to something new or something. It can be quite annoying. But again, the service is free, and is tops for what they offer. One thing I'd love to see is a separate newsletter platform where people can buy their own IP for cheap, so indie authors could work on marketing without being worried about cost or being dropped from mail services like we are now.

Pros: It sends, it receives... on a good day.

Cons: Mediocre support: Responses can take days and days, and don't always answer the question. Forget about the chat support. It's only available sometimes, though they won't say when that is, or isn't. Chat window crashes frequently. No obvious structure for escalation. Some support reps have better command of English than others. Every facet of Zoho has its own compartmentalized team support and email contact. No departments talk to other departments.

Non-intuitive interface: Not ideal for a staff that's not already super tech savvy. Setting up groups, sending to groups, attaching files, this entails all kinds of labyrinthine puzzles to be solved. Share a document or a calendar event, there's a fair chance that no one will receive it. Run into problems using what should be everyday features, only to learn from support that several settings need to be tweaked first, or that the service isn't available on our plan, or the feature is broken.

Sloppy layout: One's eyes cross, trying to read an email thread with two additional columns of information on the left side of screen. Comment thread at bottom - why?! Autofill works only incrementally.

Overall: I've tried using this as our mail service for a school. I think the rationale for adoption was price point. You get what you pay for! We plan to switch over to GSuite soon. More expensive, but pays for itself when I think about the days and days I've wasted trying to get support.

Pros: Zoho mail is unbelievable, and we have used it many years. It has extremely high quality phone and browser app. We have been using it everyday for years.

It integrates into your other Zoho apps, which is amazing. For example, in Zoho CRM, you can find a customer, and it will display all of your email conversations in their CRM record for you. For a sales person, its' great to see where you left off.

In the mail app, some neat features are- scheduling emails to be sent at a later date. Customization of the interface. Taking notes, saving contacts for quick reference, and this year they had a big overhaul of their search capabilities.

Cons: Honestly, there's not much to say for what we don't like. In rare occurences, maybe 1-2 times a year, Zoho's service might be down. But in our experience, it hasn't been for longer than 15 minutes and hasn't been a huge hassle at all.

Overall: Zoho mail is fantastic, and a no-brainer to sign up for if you use their other apps. It's one of the core things they are great at. Especially if you sign up for Zoho One.

Comments: I am a Web Developer and needed a new email provider for my business mails. Since I don't want to run my own server for this and I wanted a change from Google Apps I decided to go for Zoho. It made a very likable impression on me and I wanted to give my business to another company than the monopolist Google. So I went for the Pro Account and paid for 1 year in advance. But so far Zoho Mail disappointed in every respect. There were several problems and almost none was addressed by the horribly slow support. The problems: - The exchange server denied any connection attempts (msync.zoho.com). - I couldn't import contacts from Apples' Contact App, it would just upload forever (the file is 3.5MB). - Almost every email went to Spam I wrote to support but didn't get anything back (not even an automatic email). 2 days later I was quite annoyed and wrote a tweet @ZohoCares. That seemed to speed up the process. They explained to me that I have to activate the Exchange functionality first. A fact that was well hidden in the usability nightmare the Zoho backend and settings page is. It was also nowhere to be found in the quite bad documentation. But well, it worked. The Zoho Mail support then told me that I have to whitelist all senders manually to prevent them from going to spam. That is a joke. The mails are not coming from sketchy domains and no other provider has problems. I got into serious trouble because I didn't receive a couple of important emails first. Whitelisting every mail address in advance is not an option. I would have to hire someone to do that. So I told them. But never received a reply. Then another 4 days later and after more tweets the indian support guy explained to me that I cannot upload contact files larger than 2MB. He suggested that I manually split them up. 2MB!?!?!?! In 2015!?!?!? For a business account where I pay money? This is ridiculous. And because they didn't say so on the page and don't provide you with any error messages (it just loads forever) you will try for 2 hours and then spend more time writing support. What a waste of time! Today emails are still going to spam, my contacts are not imported and support is pathetically slow. I can only warn anybody from signing up with Zoho Mail. I will try to get a refund and look for another provider.

Pros: The colorful logo calms your raging anger about the bad support a bit.

Cons: Doesn't work as advertised. Almost every mail goes to Spam. Contact import of files larger than 2MB isn't allowed. Horrible and slow support.

Pros: What is more useful is that you can create a totally personalized email and if we want to create a professional email with our own domain or that of the organization, it can be easily created, all thanks to the precise indications to which you can configure easily if so required, the interface and security are very good and according to different types of users and by design we can say that it becomes very friendly.

Cons: Sometimes the case may happen that we need to change the password for unknown reasons we can not enter, so it is necessary to create a secure one, as well as in some cases the confiuration can fail when creating an email with the own domain which can occur with different suppliers, in my case it happened once, and some colleagues is something similar, the rest works properly and continuously retaining its support and moderate quality.

Overall: A different experience and something more secure and formal, also allows you to have your own mail which can only deal with matters related to the company where I am currently, plus its functions and features in the e-mail edition makes Zoho email a very attractive in the market, due to the high diversity offered by products with similar characteristics, in addition the sites in their email services are relatively cheap and efficient, which undoubtedly reduce costs to the company in terms of information technology in this case the email.

Pros: Interface is logical and UI is smooth, web mail, iPhone app, customizable push notifications, Gmail alternative, integration with custom domain names

Cons: They recently took away imap access for free accounts

Overall: I used to highly recommend Zoho mail for my website clients to setup a custom email with their domain name for a professional appearance, however recently Zoho decided to pull access for imap for free users. This was a bad decision because now free users cannot test integration with native mail apps and are forced to only use Zoho's web mail or iPhone app. Although the iPhone app isn't bad most clients don't want to download another mail app when they are used to keeping all mail in their native mail app. It would've been better if Zoho limited the mailbox size for free users than to completely disable imap access. Many of my clients would start on the free plan and then upgrade to a paid plan when they needed more room. Unfortunately since Zoho no longer offers free imap access I no longer recommend Zoho to my clients and instead just set them up with a professional gmail account instead.

Pros: I like that they have a free option for a limited number of users, which allows me to setup a custom email domain for myself and/or my clients fairly easily. They're mobile app (iOS) is great, and you can also connect to other third-party email clients.

Cons: The web app design used to be quite historic looking, but a recent upgrade has improved that greatly. Compared to Gmail or Outlook, it's still lacking a bit, but it's still intuitive, and works great. The other issue is setting up your custom domain's DNS records - sometimes it's difficult to understand how to install the DKIM security thing on your domain - but it can be done with some research.

Overall: I have used Zoho for a small consulting business that I run on the side, and have recommended many small business clients use it for their custom domain email addresses, and it has worked wonderfully for being free (for under 10 users, I believe).

Pros: I love the pricepoint, starting out at free for most small-scale operations is perfect. If you need more, or want to scale up to meet the demands of your operation, they have incremental pricing that handles everyone. We have never seen a minute of downtime even during a widely reported ISP issue with their own host.

Cons: There is the odd and rare occasion where their Junk filter will stop certain mail from reaching our forwarders, while this is a rarity it has happened with important invoices and other documents that were lost for a period of time or forcibly resent by the original sender. Similarly, on occasion the forward will fail to one or more addresses however we are given a report of the failing and as such can't really complain, since this literally resolves itself.

Pros: I started using Zoho few years back when I was looking for a free email service provider with own domain for my friend and as the time passed I used it for many of my clients to provide them free email service. It is really easy and simple to setup your own domain and create email addresses. Zoho provided mobile app which was not available earlier and it works so smooth. Referral process is so nice that you can increase the number of email addresses to 25 by just referring it to your friends and if they set it up by your given referral. I can easily say that its a good competitor of Gmail.

Cons: Previously SMTP setup was available with the free version to setup email client apps which support Zoho has stopped for free users. I think there should be some limit for setup but it should be available if someone wants to use any desktop email client like Outlook or Thunderbird!

Pros: I don't know if any email service providers allow its users to connect a domain name for free, but Zoho mail does. I was surprised when I see a marketing email from them saying that I have been offered to connect my own domain name for free to my email and when I tried, it worked. It was the very beginning of a part time business I setup last year and Zoho mail helped to save lot of money as I didn't need to go for a separate provider to get a custom domain. The features offered were so much interesting in Lite plan. The initial setup was so easy and I did it myself.

Cons: The interface is not conventional like Gmail or Yahoo. People who were used to Gmail might find it strange to use in the initial days.

Pros: The interface is well designed and it is a great way step out of the domination of google based mail which then transfers your data to way too many other apps.

As a standard IMAP/POP, it is compatible with all email browsers such as outlook, thunder, postmail etc

Cons: limited compatible fonts. sometimes it is difficult to understand if one needs to adjust the the control panel or the configuration settings

Overall: Whenever I had problems, or was trying to understand if a problem lay with the email browser or with Zoho, I received excellent customer support.

We would schedule a phone call, and/or the assistant would remote monitor my online use.

I also received whatsapp chat help.

Pros: The search feature is very robust and flexible and you have an additional attachment filter, which you can use in case of sending pictures. You can get a domain name and set an account for absolutely free, unlike other providers. Internal communication has been made simpler with group calendars and chat features. The setup process is quite simple. The absence of advertisements. The graphical user interface is very clean, and in fact intuitive. You will find folders to organize all of your emails. The application is integrated with google docs and other Zoho apps.

Cons: Themes take a lot of time to load. The absence of newsletter feature. You have to pay for additional storage ( above 5GB). It is not possible to import contacts from your social media.

Pros: Overall, setup with our custom domain was easy and straightforward. The online interface is complete with all the features that would be expected from an email solution. There is also a dedicated mail app available with most of the same features.

Cons: Spam filtering can sometimes be over aggressive and other times not aggressive enough. The mobile app has difficulty searching for emails and sometimes misses search results. Pros: I used Zoho mostly for their free email hosting on which I can use my own domain. This is a great free solution if you want to set up mailboxes for your domain name for free.

Cons: Since Zoho placed some restrictions on the free tier such as no forwarding, I was forced to look at a paid plan which is priced similarly to Gmail (Gsuite). A Gsuite subscription is better in all aspects so I decided to leave Zoho for a Gsuite subscription.

If you plan to use the free tier, make sure you check their current restrictions to see if you might need some of the restricted features.

Pros: Zoho mail is not just an email client. It is part of a bigger suite called Workplace and offers so much more than email. And it just works!

Cons: There was a bit of a learning curve because of the other applications included in Zoho mail, or rather Zoho Workplace. But Zoho support got me up and running real quick. Would like to see the ability to add more accounts in one user environment. But that is being worked on. The mobile apps for iOs an Android have this alreadyy.

Overall: Zoho mail replaced Exchange for me. Offering the same functionality as I was accustomed to. But at less cost and a much less crowded user interface.

Pros: Love that I can combine all my email accounts into one screen. Love how much faster dealing with various emails can be. Features and ease of use are great and make life a lot easier. Zoho has a ton of functionality that we are only now tapping into. Increased privacy by not having email on Google makes me feel better. Did have an issue and customer support was awesome at getting into it and resolving it for us!

Cons: A bit of an adaptation process since we were used to another system before this. Took a little bit of time to get configured properly.

Pros: As a user of several other Zoho products, I finally made the switch to Zoho Mail as my mail platform. I love that it integrates with other products in the Zoho line.

Zoho Mail has been a very reliable and secure mail platform, with multiple layers of security and verification you can implement to avoid your emails going to junk. And you can customize the platform quite a bit. Plus, you can still check it using any mail application if you prefer not to use the online interface.

But overall, the best things about Zoho Mail are the stability, the customizability, and the integration with other key Zoho apps. It has worked great.

Cons: I really wish the calendar and tasks and their integration with Zoho Projects was a little more polished. Right now, I don't enjoy using the tasks in Zoho Mail because you can't see which projects they are a part of easily, and it's hard to manage the tasks themselves that come from Projects.

Overall: For me, Zoho Mail was a no-brainer because my business revolves around many of the Zoho applications already. So having it all in the same ecosystem is great. I love that I can customize it to the way I like, which is a common thing with Zoho software. It's been very stable and the servers are fast, and I have very few complaints!

Terrible experience thus far

Comments: I went to Zoho so that I could use my own domain name for my emails. I am a single entrepreneur needing only two email addresses, so I went for their free account. After many hours getting set up, importing contacts, editing my contact list, I ran into trouble and emailed for support. 36 hours later, I have not received a reply. Then I went to add my second email address and my contacts disappeared, I could not log in. When I tried to set up the domain again, the error message said the domain already existed though it was not listed under my user name. The last time I was able to view my contact list, all contacts had disappeared completely so instead of over 100 contacts, there were none---so much for hours of work. Zoho's documentation is pathetic. I found myself searching all over the place for any information about adding users and what their concept of "groups" were (it differs from regular email programs significantly) and never found any good explanation. Each time I clicked on something, it opened a new tab on my browser and soon I had 10 or more tabs open, still not having found what I was looking for. The only support if you use the free service is via email and the delay at responding to my two emergency-rated emails is, well, they still have not responded so who knows how long. The gist of my experience: lousy documentation, unreliable email handling, poor customer service. I do not recommend.

Pros: I only was trying to use the mail app and it seemed primitive and then malfunctioned in a big way, so I am not feeling there is any pro other than I didn't have to pay to waste time and effort.

Cons: As stated earlier: lousy documentation, unreliable email handling, poor customer service. I do not recommend.

Pros: Zoho Mail essentially has all of the modern features that standard email provides as well including great productivity additions such as Notes, Tasks, and Calendar applications within Zoho Mail. I found this extremely effective as when I received mail previously I would have to hand write important information such as dates and tasks instead I can do it all within one client making it much more efficient.

Cons: One thing I disliked about the Software is the UI (User Interface) To me it wasn't as aesthetically pleasing to look at however Zoho has made up for it by its excellent functionality.

Overall: This is an overall great Email platform as well as offering you productivity tools included within the client. This makes it extremely beneficial as you can keep track of things such as tasks, reminders, notes, and dates for your business all in one client.

Pros: Great value and service quality.

The webmail interface is good, i like the dark theme very much. The storage is plenty and everything works as it should.

They also have good support by email and very detailed instructions on their website.

Cons: For sure the weak point is spam filters, they need to improve them.

The change they did in the free plan, leaving it only for webmail (removed pop3/imap access) for new users. But it's amazing of them that they left it for free for the old customers.

Pros: I really like how well Zoho Mail works together with other tools in the Zoho suite, plus they have decent pricing for standard plans.

Cons: I don't like that Zoho recently removed IMAP functionality for new Mail accounts signing up for the free tier, it was definitely a blow to the overall value.

Overall: I was a huge proponent of Zoho Mail as a free alternative to Gmail for business. However my enthusiasm has waned as they've watered down the free plan to remove a few key features (IMAP/POP, specifically). Still a great solution, but used to be better.

Pros: I like knowing that Google is not reading my email and selling or sharing my data. Recent updates have made the Zoho UI very intuitive with many of the features of Gmail such as folders/labels, tabs, and smooth integration with contacts.

Cons: Zoho charges to keep your data private. It would be nice if it were free, but at least my data is not being sold or shared. Like Google, it has a suite of apps that work together in a unique ecosystem. Transitioning from the Google ecosystem to Zoho is a bit clunky and Zoho could do a better job of providing tutorials and customer support for onboarding new customers. However, it's worth the effort.

Pros: The configuration is very easy. It has functions of Notes, calendar, tasks, bookmarks, private messages. It offers greater protection against phishing and phishing emails. Collect your messages from other email accounts so you can see them in a single inbox.

Cons: In new accounts, you can not use some features in the free version, such as Active Sync and IMAP, which is still an incredible application. It does not allow you to customize your appearance just by changing some colors.

Overall: I really like how these emails work and it adapts well to small businesses. This email delivers a good package of things and you can also use it with your own domain for free. This helps too much.

Pros: I was tasked with finding simple, reliable and easy to setup email server for a small business. I didn't believe Zoho mail when I first found it but I was proven wrong, Zoho mail had everything I wished for, it was easy to setup, easy to use and reliable. I have set up the email within an hour and everything was up and running with a couple of hours. There was no looking back after that. The sweetest thing about all the experience is that Zoho mail is absolutely free.

Cons: There is really nothing you can complain about when you can set up an email server at free of cost and it does everything that is expected.

I'ts easy to configure your own domain and they have one mobile app for administrator and one for the users. Another nice thing is that you can send mails with your signature when sending mails throw the iOS/Android Apps.

Cons: What I like least Is that when I have more than one account in the mobile App is confusing to understand and have a consolidated view of all the accounts.

Pros: I run a small business as a side hobby along with my primary work. And I needed someone for email hosting. Zoho turned out to be the perfect thing. Their pricing is super flexible and for a small side business (like mine) they even offer a free version that lets you set up your email hosting and use it for free. Dont let the "free" bit bring you down, even the cheapest/free option is fully feature packed. Its also really simple to set up. We used GoDaddy and Zoho will give you step by step instructions, including pictures on how to set it up. It had me going withing 15 minutes of signing up. And I was able to add additional users effortlessly. VERY highly recommended.

Cons: The web interface is a little clunky. The default folders can cause your emails to end up in different locations than what you would like. But its all fixable with a few clicks.

Overall: Incredibly positive. I would recommend anyone exploring the market for an email host to start with the free version to see if it meets your needs and then upgrade based on your requirements.

Pros: I like Zoho Mail for its versatility, for the amount of tools I can use every day. Tools such as the calendar, application of digital signatures are essential functions that a normal mail can not provide. In addition to this Zoho Mail, is always in constant update, which I find excellent. At the aesthetic level it is a very friendly and visually pleasing platform.

Zoho Mail, has helped me a lot in the field of work, since their tools give me an easy way to write emails, in addition to having a mobile application that notifies you of possible events. This platform also gives me the possibility to work in conjunction with my work team, and it does so in a more pleasant way

Cons: I think that Zoho Mail should try to simplify the amount of options and tools that it has, as well as create a simpler software that integrates the applications with which Zoho Mail works

Pros: Organization feature where I can create an organization connect my domain and create user emails in my organization with users having different permissions.

Integrates well with other zoho services such as zoho calendar.

Cons: Mail forwarding feature is not available for the free tier. Maintaining many emails from different organizations is thus a task as emails cannot be forwarded to the primary email.

Pros: Tailored email address that 'appears' as if it is coming directly from my website. This has saved me added expenses on my online business.

Cons: It looks like it is becoming more customize-able without paying fees. At one point, I could not have my emails forwarded to another email address and that was annoying.

Overall: A customized email of my choosing for free. It appears seamless with my website and I enjoy that the added professionalism it provides for my customers.

Pros: Simple and user-friendly for people who just need to get a hold of their mail on the daily. I enjoyed this while I was using it in a business. It was especially helpful whenever I need to go back to items back and forth with another one -- keeps tabs open and offers flexibility in usage.

Cons: I feel like the UI/UX could be better. Despite it being helpful that I can go back and forth between items, sometimes it gets too confusing. Also, sometimes it doesn't load as quickly as I want to; maybe the amount of items open contributes to it.

Pros: Zoho itself is relatively inexpensive and provides all of the functionality that an email system should. The free tier is quite a good offering.

Cons: The customer support from Zoho is someone lacking and they are very hard to get hold of. I also find that a lot of clients suffer from deliver-ability issues quite frequently which is of course, not ideal for an email system at all.

Overall: When I first started using Zoho Mail for my small business, it was great. It was easy to set up and I couldn't argue with the (free) price.

However, I soon started having issues with mail not being delivered on a timely basis and sometimes not being delivered at all. I was told this was because of an issue with monsoons where their servers were located, but wouldn't you think they would have backup servers/locations?

After ten days of not getting email at all, getting the run-around from customer service, and missing out on two clients, I migrated away from Zoho to Google Apps.

Lesson learned: you get what you pay for.
