Pros: I use this daily and it's great. It is totally separate from my website hosting email and with a few settings on the server & on my domain registrar, my mail was set up. I use it on my local computer/devices OR I can also login and manage email on the web. I set up folders, filters, blacklist/whitelists, and love that I can create an alias email to give out if I don't want someone to have the private email.

Their support is good, despite taking a few days to get a response sometimes, but they are very friendly and always want to help you solve your problem. A few times, i've gotten phone calls and they've accessed my screen to help me troubleshoot an issue they aren't able to replicate which is miles above other support services these days.

If you choose, you can also use several other features like their contacts manager, calendar, tasks, and several other Zoho branded products (some free, some not).

It's straightforward and basic but to be clear: this is not a replacement for the mail system hyou use on your comptuer... it is an email HOSTING service = where your emails are stored. You still need to use an app on your computer/device to send/receive messages.

HUGE Pro: move to a new web host is a. All I need to do is change a few MX records at my domain registar, I never have to worry about losing email. The steps involved "may" require help but not hard to do.

You can set up a spam management system to either allow, bounce or quarantine msgs.

Cons: It seems like my email sometimes appears to be offline in my computer mail app. It's usually brief but it happens. The more recent setup for anti-spoofing settings were a pain in the butt to set up and I had to contact support for help b/c their instructions were wrong (but, like I said, they did help me and were eager to please).

The spam filtering feels limiting. I can only block emails/ domains. I wish I could add a spam filter based on subjects, keywords or phrases to swipe them in one action. The type of spam that we seem to get with the same topic yet comes from infinite number of addresses makes it a huge pain to manage. You have to login, go to your Control Panel & add the addresses/domains to the blacklist. If I could do this based on the subject line or keywords, I'd have to do this less often. I drown in emails & too many still get through (even if in my Junk folder), I don't want to ever see them.

Then, I seem to get a lot of false negatives. Legitimate people sometimes do not get through & again, need to check the spam settings, add them to the main whitelist & check the quarantine folder. These are more recent changes but it's increasing the time I spend, instead of reducing.

Overall: Since I am an active user and recommend this to my clients, I would defintiely say it's worth it, despite the spam stuff. Junk mail will be a pain no matter what.

The interface is pleasing and I do notice they are constantly working to make improvements and updating things

Pros: The value for the money is obvious once you start using the software. Features for even the lowest tier paid plans include white and black lists, spam filtering, mailing lists, custom groups for email accounts, and a plethora of other things. Absolutely worth the measly cost they charge per year.

Out of the box you have full control via the admin panel to enable or disable pop or imap, create unlimited aliases per email, add signatures and company wide disclaimers to emails.

They have their own web interface, desktop and mobile applications that come included as well.

One if my absolute favorite features is the zohomail admin application for mobile which allows me to, in seconds, change any employees password if they forget it regardless of where I am.

Ssl, dkim, spf, are all available out of the box as well.

Cons: One of the most frustrating features of the software is the Streams feature. You can compare this to an email client trying to merge email with their own version of social media. For those looking for a feature such as this it may not be a huge issue for you, however I run IT for approximately 100 users and not a single person wants this feature, the problem being is it comes turned on by default.

Shut it off you say? If it were that easy I wouldn't be so annoyed by it. There is no admin level switch to turn off streams company wide. To do so every single user must individually log into the web application, find the streaming filter, and shut it off manually one by one...

The stream feature creates 2 folders called notifications and newsletters automatically that begins sorting mail based on zohos own specifications. If you have employees who are older and not tech savvy it is extremely difficult to train everyone to check 3 different folders (including inbox) for their mail when everything use to be located in the inbox alone.

After browsing through forums, support threads, etc it appears many companies and users have begged for an off switch company wide due to the exact same issue we still are plagued with for years now, however nothing had been done to rectify this time consuming and hassle of s "feature".

Overall: We switched from an isp hosted email account because after many years the isp could not keep up with the times, were lacking ssl support, storage space was obismally small, and support took days to solve even the smallest issues where I could actually determine what needed to be fixed on their end before they could.

Zoho mail has taken all of that off of my plate, allowed me an easy way to manage most features company wide in single steps, and anytime I had a question support was always available to help, and even if their support couldn't fix problems we were having (such as the streams function) they have always been polite, professional, and eager to help any time of day or night.

If you're looking for an inexpensive but feature rich email suite for your company or even for the individual I couldn't recommend these guys more even with the minor quirks we have experienced.

Pros: The amount of internal organization this software has, has propelled the rate at which I'm able to get work done. I absolutely love the way you can filter through your emails based on an almost mind boggling amount of search fields. I especially love the attachment filter, as so many of my emails have pictures and PDFs. Even further, the interface for the server is very legible, and as you click through to your emails, the new windows cascade and expand to the right, making it easy to quickly scan for necessary information. The extra applications/plug-ins such as Group Calendars, Streams, Tasks, etc. make internal company communication SO EASY! Honestly, I could talk about the inter-connectivity of the software all day. Not to mention, it's very easy to configure your email with a custom domain server, and as a webmaster, that's just one less headache I want to deal with.

Cons: I first started using Zoho Mail when I was still learning how to write basic HTML and CSS code, and at the time there was a bit of a learning curve for myself when it came to the initial setup of the product. Some of the vocabulary I had yet to learn was throughout the email client, and made it somewhat hard to understand exactly what I was doing. With that being said, Zoho has literally hundreds of resources that are both directly from the company, and from other reliable sources, on how to overcome the "language barrier" and take you through the setup process set by step. So, although there is a learning curve with certain steps, there's still innumerable amounts of resources to help you through the process.

Overall: I ended up learning a lot about the finer points of running a business. By being able to set up my own FREE email server, I now have my own "place" to host all of my work related emails, organize them to my liking, and further share it with the rest of my employees. With the Streams folders, it makes general communication between employees quick and easy, and moderated for appropriateness. It's an incredibly secure way to build a platform for business related communication, both with customers, and with my own team. Overall, this is one of the programs I accredit my budding success (and sanity) to.

Pros: This email service does everything and more than we needed or wanted. It has spam filters (and they work!) You can organize and filter mail to automatically go to predetermined folders. You can set up and moderate several accounts for employees. You get to attach your own company/website name to the end of the email address (e.g., joe@mycompany.com). And it's totally affordable for small companies. 25 free user accounts and unlimited groups for free! Customer service is great for a free service. I have emailed them to report a problem and have received a response within an hour. The longest I had to wait was 24 hours, but it was during a peak season, so I'm not surprised. They are surprisingly attentive and timely for a free service.

Cons: It is a bit complicated and involved in regards to setup. Someone with a little knowledge won't have a problem. But if you have trouble setting up a gmail account, you'll definitely need some help with this.

Overall: Zoho Mail solved two huge problems for us: internal communication and professional company branding in our emails. We needed a platform to facilitate better communication within the company. We chose Zoho to begin with because it was free but found that its functionality surpassed what we were hoping for. Before we had been using free services that required us to cram our company name into the sender portion of the email (e.g., joe.mycompany@gmail.com). This looked unprofessional. Since moving to Zoho, all our outgoing emails now look professional and uniform with our company website dot com in the domain portion.

Pros: What I like about zoho mail is that it is an excellent alternative to traditional email providers, it offers you a service without any publicity which is very much appreciated, you have the option to open a personal email with zoho or if you prefer an email business at very competitive prices, zoho interface seems very clean and functional, you can modify it from the configuration, which has many options to change and customize your email, has very practical modes of notifications as it groups you emails electronic devices according to the order of priority given to them, so that they are ordered and ready for the corresponding reading. It has a version for each device that is needed and it really is very practical and the emails arrive instantly.

Cons: What I do not like is that in the free option you do not have the pop and imap options are only available for the payment option so it is impossible to use the zoho client to receive or send your emails to other platforms if you do not make a payment and you subscribe to their service, on the other hand the pc client is quite deficient, it is a web version of reduced proportions, and you can not configure other accounts unless you close the session of the main account.

Overall: In general, work with zoho is good, despite the points against, the mail of zoho has all the options to be an excellent service provider, the mobile and web versions I think are the best, has multiple options and On the other hand, it offers the free option to host the business mail of your company if you have your own domain, but depending on the domain it can be for 25 accounts or less.

Comments: Have utilized Zoho for a few years now. Found it available as an alternative to gmail with concerns for privacy and available support. Even though back in those times Zoho did not offer any mobile apps, I found Zoho to be be of a great value and strong potential to build a great value proposition to their users. And... My expectations came to fruition. Zoho has not let me down. Today I had to find out why one of my messages (an important one, if I may add) was not delivered to a recipient. I copied the subject, time stamp, "to" credentials and sent it to support@zohomail.com. 12 hours later I received a thoughtful and thorough explanations (with visual data backing-up) on why my e-mail WAS delivered, but recipients server filtering out and deleting it through their spam protection. Steps were offered to remedy such instance not to happen in the future. I was "floored..." Today I have noticed that their Android and iPhone apps are present and function very well. Integration with mail clients is a breeze to configure. "Cloud" and support of such is available and we have no issues using it. Overall, I'm impressed with Zoho and their growing pains are very limited. From user perspective - I have not noticed any hurdles or bugs or goofy approaches to simplified mail service approach. Their new e-mail interface was not pushed onto me, but suggested to use. Still not sure if I like it and the option to revert to "old" and proven interface is still there for me in case I change my mind. How can anyone go wrong with such service if it is FREE, I thought?! When I'm asked to provide my e-mail, I proudly spell out "@-Z-O-H-O.com" and questions follow - "What is Zoho?" My typical answer is - "One of my best kept secrets..." I was one of the first to sign-up with gmail and am glad I discovered Zoho to be one of their first users as well. Give them a try - they are working out their support streamline and response SLAs are acceptable.

Pros: Free Short support SLAs Android, iPhon apps Ability to scale up or down in pricing depending on your needs Stable mail platform Courteous and Polite associates Cloud storage Many options for businesses for paid and free accounts

Cons: None that I have found so far

Pros: I was a first-time email administrator using this software, and it was intuitive to set up, with many help articles and tutorials available.

As a user, I love all the functionality available through Zoho tools that I was not getting through Gmail. I also much prefer the interface to both Hotmail and Gmail.

Cons: Despite me putting in too much work setting up and managing email routing rules, they have never worked as well as some other email clients. Things get routed to Spam that have been marked safe, and other emails don't always make it in the right folder that items from that sender should automatically route to. The big players figured this out long ago, so it feels like a big step back.

Overall: I was attracted to Zoho for a small private enterprise because I could bring my own domain name. I appreciated its ease in setting up and use and the ability to have 25 users with a free account. The tool suite is rich and deep, although I don't use all of that functionality. Zoho provides a great user experience at a fraction of the cost of some of the big players. When my boss was looking at a new suite last year, I actually pitched it to her because I had such a great experience with it personally.

Be aware that space with free accounts is limited to 5 GB, and if you have more than four users in your organization, your total outgoing emails between all of your is limited to 200 a day. Even with these limitations, it works great for us.

Perfect for what we needed!

Pros: When all other email providers stopped allowing you to connect a domain name, Zoho Mail didn't. Best of all, they kept it free. You are able to quickly set up your account with their helpful guides, and get email services working almost instantaneously. I use it for all of my businesses, and each has its own custom domain name, so Zoho is indispensable. The support team is great, super polite people here, and work hard to help with whatever they can.

Cons: I hate the new theme. It loads very slowly, I wish we could choose old vs new version. Lately when I log in there have been new domain things that need done quite often, which is kind of a hassle as when I check my domain servers, I'd already done those things and Zoho just needed them refreshed to something new or something. It can be quite annoying. But again, the service is free, and is tops for what they offer. One thing I'd love to see is a separate newsletter platform where people can buy their own IP for cheap, so indie authors could work on marketing without being worried about cost or being dropped from mail services like we are now.

Pros: Zoho mail is unbelievable, and we have used it many years. It has extremely high quality phone and browser app. We have been using it everyday for years.

It integrates into your other Zoho apps, which is amazing. For example, in Zoho CRM, you can find a customer, and it will display all of your email conversations in their CRM record for you. For a sales person, its' great to see where you left off.

In the mail app, some neat features are- scheduling emails to be sent at a later date. Customization of the interface. Taking notes, saving contacts for quick reference, and this year they had a big overhaul of their search capabilities.

Cons: Honestly, there's not much to say for what we don't like. In rare occurences, maybe 1-2 times a year, Zoho's service might be down. But in our experience, it hasn't been for longer than 15 minutes and hasn't been a huge hassle at all.

Overall: Zoho mail is fantastic, and a no-brainer to sign up for if you use their other apps. It's one of the core things they are great at. Especially if you sign up for Zoho One.

Pros: Zoho Mail really brings a lot of functionality to the table. The ability to conveniently set signatures and queue emails is very good, and will help any person doing Email Marketing at the beginning. I believe Zoho is good for small businesses and people who are just getting into these kinds of jobs. Alternatively, people that just need to get organized in regards to their daily life (and who need a business email) might also find it affordable and comparatively full of functions when compared to other providers like Gmail.

Cons: The Zoho app I used crashed a lot and it had problems loading certain things. We could adscribe those problems to my computer, OS, etcetera, but the people I worked with at the company that used Zoho all complained about the same issues, and we were all in different countries. This is the first thing I wanted them to solve, because it presented me with lots of functionality but made me waste time by having to restart the app or figure out online how to solve a certain issue. Aside from that, Zoho is not really intuitive, it's not exactly too 'easy to use' so you might find yourself looking for tutorials online and stuff like that.

Overall: For the job I was doing Zoho seemed like a good, affordable tool. However, there are much better tools out there, especially for email marketing.

Cons: The only thing that I would like them to improve is the ability to customize more themes but with the new interface you almost do not even need it.

Overall: With Zoho Mail I could have my corporate email with all the functionalities of a service like Office 365 or G Suite with a much lower cost.

Pros: What is more useful is that you can create a totally personalized email and if we want to create a professional email with our own domain or that of the organization, it can be easily created, all thanks to the precise indications to which you can configure easily if so required, the interface and security are very good and according to different types of users and by design we can say that it becomes very friendly.

Cons: Sometimes the case may happen that we need to change the password for unknown reasons we can not enter, so it is necessary to create a secure one, as well as in some cases the confiuration can fail when creating an email with the own domain which can occur with different suppliers, in my case it happened once, and some colleagues is something similar, the rest works properly and continuously retaining its support and moderate quality.

Overall: A different experience and something more secure and formal, also allows you to have your own mail which can only deal with matters related to the company where I am currently, plus its functions and features in the e-mail edition makes Zoho email a very attractive in the market, due to the high diversity offered by products with similar characteristics, in addition the sites in their email services are relatively cheap and efficient, which undoubtedly reduce costs to the company in terms of information technology in this case the email.

Pros: Interface is logical and UI is smooth, web mail, iPhone app, customizable push notifications, Gmail alternative, integration with custom domain names

Cons: They recently took away imap access for free accounts

Overall: I used to highly recommend Zoho mail for my website clients to setup a custom email with their domain name for a professional appearance, however recently Zoho decided to pull access for imap for free users. This was a bad decision because now free users cannot test integration with native mail apps and are forced to only use Zoho's web mail or iPhone app. Although the iPhone app isn't bad most clients don't want to download another mail app when they are used to keeping all mail in their native mail app. It would've been better if Zoho limited the mailbox size for free users than to completely disable imap access. Many of my clients would start on the free plan and then upgrade to a paid plan when they needed more room. Unfortunately since Zoho no longer offers free imap access I no longer recommend Zoho to my clients and instead just set them up with a professional gmail account instead.

Pros: I like that they have a free option for a limited number of users, which allows me to setup a custom email domain for myself and/or my clients fairly easily. They're mobile app (iOS) is great, and you can also connect to other third-party email clients.

Cons: The web app design used to be quite historic looking, but a recent upgrade has improved that greatly. Compared to Gmail or Outlook, it's still lacking a bit, but it's still intuitive, and works great. The other issue is setting up your custom domain's DNS records - sometimes it's difficult to understand how to install the DKIM security thing on your domain - but it can be done with some research.

Overall: I have used Zoho for a small consulting business that I run on the side, and have recommended many small business clients use it for their custom domain email addresses, and it has worked wonderfully for being free (for under 10 users, I believe).

Pros: For the base-level plan, it is completely free. This is a very good value for an e-mail hosting service that allows you to use your own domain name. It also offers extensive sorting/filtering options for your e-mails, such as spam or blacklist filters, which ensures that you only see what you want to see in your inbox. It offers tons of different customization options, so you can get it to look exactly the way you want it to look. It also links well with other Zoho web apps, if you have additional business features on Zoho platforms.

Cons: By default, it will automatically sort your e-mails into folders it thinks are appropriate, such as "Promotions", "Newsletters", etc. Which, if you aren't aware that it's doing this, could lead you to miss out on e-mails because you didn't check the separate, additional folder that Zoho decided to create for that type of e-mail. While the actual linking with a domain name was easy, it was very difficult to set up all of the security features. It would be nice if it was a little more guided or gave some assisted with that process (or just more easily linked with the domain provider).

Pros: I love the pricepoint, starting out at free for most small-scale operations is perfect. If you need more, or want to scale up to meet the demands of your operation, they have incremental pricing that handles everyone. We have never seen a minute of downtime even during a widely reported ISP issue with their own host.

Cons: There is the odd and rare occasion where their Junk filter will stop certain mail from reaching our forwarders, while this is a rarity it has happened with important invoices and other documents that were lost for a period of time or forcibly resent by the original sender. Similarly, on occasion the forward will fail to one or more addresses however we are given a report of the failing and as such can't really complain, since this literally resolves itself.

Pros: This is an awesome free mail phone app and desktop app. As long as you have a domain you can use it for your business email instead of having to pay for outlook or g-suite. It has basic functionality and features and for free, the value is great. I like that you can customize colors of the interface and that it has ability to create calendar reminders, as well as organize your mail and give free access.

Cons: I don't like that you can't double click on an email to open up like it would on outlook. I don't like that certain features don't always work like adding my photo to my mail account. And the thing I liked least about zoho mail is that items marked as spam continue to appear in my inbox so I don't think this function works.

Pros: I started using Zoho few years back when I was looking for a free email service provider with own domain for my friend and as the time passed I used it for many of my clients to provide them free email service. It is really easy and simple to setup your own domain and create email addresses. Zoho provided mobile app which was not available earlier and it works so smooth. Referral process is so nice that you can increase the number of email addresses to 25 by just referring it to your friends and if they set it up by your given referral. I can easily say that its a good competitor of Gmail.

Cons: Previously SMTP setup was available with the free version to setup email client apps which support Zoho has stopped for free users. I think there should be some limit for setup but it should be available if someone wants to use any desktop email client like Outlook or Thunderbird!

The best and unique reason why I use Zoho mail; I can set up my own domain name for free!

Pros: I don't know if any email service providers allow its users to connect a domain name for free, but Zoho mail does. I was surprised when I see a marketing email from them saying that I have been offered to connect my own domain name for free to my email and when I tried, it worked. It was the very beginning of a part time business I setup last year and Zoho mail helped to save lot of money as I didn't need to go for a separate provider to get a custom domain. The features offered were so much interesting in Lite plan. The initial setup was so easy and I did it myself.

Cons: The interface is not conventional like Gmail or Yahoo. People who were used to Gmail might find it strange to use in the initial days.

Pros: I cannot say enough about the Suite of product Zoho got to offer. Currently, I'm using Zoho Mail and Zoho Invoice. For a one-man operation with a low volume of transactions their free/lite offering is the ideal product. Which will give you enough storage for email and all other features. Once everything is configured, the integration of different modules is the biggest highlight for me.

I should really commend the support of their customer service. Quick and helpful.

Well done Zoho keep-up the wonrderful work and your products really rock!!!

Cons: I feel your Zoho Forms could have a free offering with a very limited submission for a month with Google drive integration.

Pros: First off, let me say, that the user interface has VASTLY improved.

If you used it in the past and were not impressed, give it another try.

Secondly I like the fact that it is enterprise ready. Even the free account lets you use all the SMTP, third party domains, security features, etc.

Also it is FAST. The UI runs really quickly and even if you have a large amount of emails it runs really quickly.

Finally, its integrated with all the other Zoho tools. They are all native to each other, and you can access them quickly from Zoho Email

Cons: The Admin panel is a bit hard to find. I recommend they don't put it behind two clicks.

Overall: Overall very good!

Pros: Up front, Zoho always had good customer support. Sure, most is in India but they were always quick and helpful to me. I used the paid suite for personal use every day for several years. They assisted importing all my data and helped any time there was an issue. No downtime I ever recall.

Zoho does everything it promises well enough. It doesn't exceed or set the standard, but it gets the job done.

Cons: Old-fashioned folder style organization vs. labeling+archiving.

Interface is also relatively ugly compared to competitors.

Overall: I switched from Google Apps for Business to Zoho and used the Zoho suite for about 3 years. Ultimately, I switched back to Google.

Pros: The interface is well designed and it is a great way step out of the domination of google based mail which then transfers your data to way too many other apps.

As a standard IMAP/POP, it is compatible with all email browsers such as outlook, thunder, postmail etc

Cons: limited compatible fonts. sometimes it is difficult to understand if one needs to adjust the the control panel or the configuration settings

Overall: Whenever I had problems, or was trying to understand if a problem lay with the email browser or with Zoho, I received excellent customer support.

We would schedule a phone call, and/or the assistant would remote monitor my online use.

I also received whatsapp chat help.

Pros: The search feature is very robust and flexible and you have an additional attachment filter, which you can use in case of sending pictures. You can get a domain name and set an account for absolutely free, unlike other providers. Internal communication has been made simpler with group calendars and chat features. The setup process is quite simple. The absence of advertisements. The graphical user interface is very clean, and in fact intuitive. You will find folders to organize all of your emails. The application is integrated with google docs and other Zoho apps.

Cons: Themes take a lot of time to load. The absence of newsletter feature. You have to pay for additional storage ( above 5GB). It is not possible to import contacts from your social media.

No worry to switch between different email platforms anymore!!

Pros: 1. Been using Zoho mail since 4-5 years for my company and i wouldn't agree more than there's nothing better than Zoho, as i can link multiple emails onto a single interface.

2. Zoho mail has one of the best, simple and easy to use UI. Zoho mail Mobile app is also one of the most handy mail app you can get rightnow to manage all your emails at one single interface.

3. Also, one of the key features is the auto-reply function when i'm not able to reply.

Cons: 1. The maximum size for attachment is limited to only 20mb which is very frustating sometimes when i had to transfer big media files.

2. It lacks an availabilty of IMAO and POP3, which restricts me from adding to any external software.

3. YOu cannot import your contacts from any social media sites.

Pros: Overall, setup with our custom domain was easy and straightforward. The online interface is complete with all the features that would be expected from an email solution. There is also a dedicated mail app available with most of the same features.

Cons: Spam filtering can sometimes be over aggressive and other times not aggressive enough. The mobile app has difficulty searching for emails and sometimes misses search results. The Zoho service has gone down for an extended period of time (12+ hrs) in the past which resulted in a significant loss of productivity.

Overall: Easy cost effective mail solution for a custom domain.

Pros: I used Zoho mostly for their free email hosting on which I can use my own domain. This is a great free solution if you want to set up mailboxes for your domain name for free.

Cons: Since Zoho placed some restrictions on the free tier such as no forwarding, I was forced to look at a paid plan which is priced similarly to Gmail (Gsuite). A Gsuite subscription is better in all aspects so I decided to leave Zoho for a Gsuite subscription.

If you plan to use the free tier, make sure you check their current restrictions to see if you might need some of the restricted features.

Overall: Awesome free email hosting solution.

6. Inbuilt team chat

7. Easy Dashboard

9. Super Cost effective as compared to Gsuite.

Cons: For the cost it is at, I dont have much complains.

However, support can be a lot better.

Mail Filters and search can be better.

Overall: I have been using Zoho Mail for the past 4 years. I have recommended the same to over 60 of my clients.

Pros: Zoho mail is not just an email client. It is part of a bigger suite called Workplace and offers so much more than email. And it just works!

Cons: There was a bit of a learning curve because of the other applications included in Zoho mail, or rather Zoho Workplace. But Zoho support got me up and running real quick. Would like to see the ability to add more accounts in one user environment. But that is being worked on. The mobile apps for iOs an Android have this alreadyy.

Overall: Zoho mail replaced Exchange for me. Offering the same functionality as I was accustomed to. But at less cost and a much less crowded user interface.

Cons: The website may not be as nice as Gmail but if you use dedicated software for collecting your emails you will not see it

Pros: As a user of several other Zoho products, I finally made the switch to Zoho Mail as my mail platform. I love that it integrates with other products in the Zoho line.

Zoho Mail has been a very reliable and secure mail platform, with multiple layers of security and verification you can implement to avoid your emails going to junk. And you can customize the platform quite a bit. Plus, you can still check it using any mail application if you prefer not to use the online interface.

But overall, the best things about Zoho Mail are the stability, the customizability, and the integration with other key Zoho apps. It has worked great.

Cons: I really wish the calendar and tasks and their integration with Zoho Projects was a little more polished. Right now, I don't enjoy using the tasks in Zoho Mail because you can't see which projects they are a part of easily, and it's hard to manage the tasks themselves that come from Projects.

Overall: For me, Zoho Mail was a no-brainer because my business revolves around many of the Zoho applications already. So having it all in the same ecosystem is great. I love that I can customize it to the way I like, which is a common thing with Zoho software. It's been very stable and the servers are fast, and I have very few complaints!

Pros: This email manager is very useful for me because I can organize my incoming emails easily by applying the filters. I like the option where I can see all the attachments. I no longer have to be opening each email to search for a particular file. If for some reason I have a badly written email, in the outbox I can see the status of the emails sent.

Cons: There are emails sent by me that when I receive replies they go to the SPAM box. They should be created as a contact and pass as secure mail.

Pros: Zoho Mail essentially has all of the modern features that standard email provides as well including great productivity additions such as Notes, Tasks, and Calendar applications within Zoho Mail. I found this extremely effective as when I received mail previously I would have to hand write important information such as dates and tasks instead I can do it all within one client making it much more efficient.

Cons: One thing I disliked about the Software is the UI (User Interface) To me it wasn't as aesthetically pleasing to look at however Zoho has made up for it by its excellent functionality.

Overall: This is an overall great Email platform as well as offering you productivity tools included within the client. This makes it extremely beneficial as you can keep track of things such as tasks, reminders, notes, and dates for your business all in one client.

Pros: Great value and service quality.

The webmail interface is good, i like the dark theme very much. The storage is plenty and everything works as it should.

They also have good support by email and very detailed instructions on their website.

Cons: For sure the weak point is spam filters, they need to improve them.

The change they did in the free plan, leaving it only for webmail (removed pop3/imap access) for new users. But it's amazing of them that they left it for free for the old customers.

Pros: I really like how well Zoho Mail works together with other tools in the Zoho suite, plus they have decent pricing for standard plans.

Cons: I don't like that Zoho recently removed IMAP functionality for new Mail accounts signing up for the free tier, it was definitely a blow to the overall value.

Overall: I was a huge proponent of Zoho Mail as a free alternative to Gmail for business. However my enthusiasm has waned as they've watered down the free plan to remove a few key features (IMAP/POP, specifically). Still a great solution, but used to be better.

Pros: I like knowing that Google is not reading my email and selling or sharing my data. Recent updates have made the Zoho UI very intuitive with many of the features of Gmail such as folders/labels, tabs, and smooth integration with contacts.

Cons: Zoho charges to keep your data private. It would be nice if it were free, but at least my data is not being sold or shared. Like Google, it has a suite of apps that work together in a unique ecosystem. Transitioning from the Google ecosystem to Zoho is a bit clunky and Zoho could do a better job of providing tutorials and customer support for onboarding new customers. However, it's worth the effort.

Pros: The configuration is very easy. It has functions of Notes, calendar, tasks, bookmarks, private messages. It offers greater protection against phishing and phishing emails. Collect your messages from other email accounts so you can see them in a single inbox.

Cons: In new accounts, you can not use some features in the free version, such as Active Sync and IMAP, which is still an incredible application. It does not allow you to customize your appearance just by changing some colors.

Overall: I really like how these emails work and it adapts well to small businesses. This email delivers a good package of things and you can also use it with your own domain for free. This helps too much.

Pros: Zoho Mail has been a saviour since Gmail stopped providing email hosting for free. This really helped me to save some good money. The initial setup was easy and there is no need to work with any developers. Just follow the instructions :-)

Cons: I mainly check my emails from an iPhone and although Zoho Mail has a robust app for this purpose, I never seem to have gotten used to the user interface. I found the various folders and views to be confusing and an overkill. Gmail seems to be a lot more simple and clean in this aspect.

Overall: Considering that I'm not paying for this, Zoho Mail is really awesome, powerful and robust. A big thank you to the creators!

Cons: About the ZohoMail app, new message notificaton doesn't pop up (like Google Gmail) app does, until I open the Zohomail app before my new messages pops up.
