April 10, 2020 4.0 I was looking for a solution that could meet my budget with some flexibility and I got it from Zoho mail. It has helped the business effectively handle support emails with templates. We have benefited from features such as "Edit as new" to cut down time spent in crafting emails. Pros The "Edit as new" feature is a great one. It's so easy to use and helps me complete my regular bank transfer emails with speed. No need for retyping long messages and selecting email addresses. With a few edits, the message is ready to be sent. Cons I believe that access the control panel from the desktop client can be improved. An attempt to it opens in a new browser that requires a login. This does not help especially when I have to remember passwords. Reason for choosing Zoho Mail I think one main reason was the mail pricing and editions which offered a plan that best suited my needs. Pros Zoho Mail is a very affordable option for teams that want email at their domain. It has many features that the more popular email clients offer and you can start using it for free. Their web interface has improved a ton over the years and it's honestly fairly similar to their largest competitor. Cons I still prefer to use other webmail interfaces because it's what I'm used to, so I generally forward my Zoho mail to a Gmail account. That said, Zoho's interface has gotten more similar to that of Gmail, so that might not be an issue for everyone. Review Source lP leanna P. December 2, 2018 2.0 I use it because is the company service, but If I had to chose, I would move to another company. Pros I can't think of many pros for this email service, aside from it having a web interface and a mobile app that sync together. Cons The web app is slow and when I get the "New messages" notification it takes a long time to refresh and show new emails. I still can't find features that should be basic, like sharing calendars with my coworkers. The mobile app has a bug that makes the text so tiny it's almost unreadable (and useless to work with). Because I do not actively prospect my side-business, I don't need a feature-intensive product (like Office 365 or G Suite) and I didn't want to spend much money on the product either. Zoho offers a good compromise when you are looking for a simple hosted e-mail solution. If you are looking for the best integration and office suite, though, you should look towards more expensive options from Google or Microsoft. Pros The value of the product is great. And while the e-mail functionality and performance isn't the best, I prefer the layout much better than others I've used. Having access to additional office applications from Zoho could be useful if you needed to separate documents and information for multiple purposes (work, personal, etc.). Cons The software isn't the most fluid to use. By this, I mean settings like 2-factor authentication or profiles can be difficult to find. The interface also isn't as well-designed as other e-mail platforms like G-Suite. And, while imap is available for zoho accounts, you are required to pay for it in order to use it. Customer service also isn't the best, but that's about on-par with other technology companies. This software has everything you want. I literally love it. Pros I am a software developer so i have to organize my team via mail so i use this software daily basis. It is very effective and very simple UI. Every can easily understand the application at first sight. They have plenty of features to excite you.Personally for me, some several feature are there. 1. Very easy authentication process and they even have two factor authentication security feature. 2. We can able to compose an email very easily. In this there are some alternative options for sending a mail(Send, Send Later). We can schedule an email to be sent at any time you choose. Cons Nothing least about this software but i have one concern. When we attaching some document in the mail, it should show the status of the attachment item. Pros Overall, setup with our custom domain was easy and straightforward. The online interface is complete with all the features that would be expected from an email solution. There is also a dedicated mail app available with most of the same features. Cons Spam filtering can sometimes be over aggressive and other times not aggressive enough. The mobile app has difficulty searching for emails and sometimes misses search results. Been using Zoho mail since 4-5 years for my company and i wouldn't agree more than there's nothing better than Zoho, as i can link multiple emails onto a single interface. 2. Zoho mail has one of the best, simple and easy to use UI. Zoho mail Mobile app is also one of the most handy mail app you can get rightnow to manage all your emails at one single interface. 3. Also, one of the key features is the auto-reply function when i'm not able to reply. Cons 1\. The maximum size for attachment is limited to only 20mb which is very frustating sometimes when i had to transfer big media files. 2. Pros I used Zoho mostly for their free email hosting on which I can use my own domain. This is a great free solution if you want to set up mailboxes for your domain name for free. Cons Since Zoho placed some restrictions on the free tier such as no forwarding, I was forced to look at a paid plan which is priced similarly to Gmail (Gsuite). A Gsuite subscription is better in all aspects so I decided to leave Zoho for a Gsuite subscription. If you plan to use the free tier, make sure you check their current restrictions to see if you might need some of the restricted features. Pros I love that Zoho Mail allows you to try the product for free if you have less than 10 email addresses that you need. Additionally, the service allows seamlessly the ability to chat with other users, create email aliases and groups. I also love that it's easy to use the other Zoho products Cons Zoho used to allow you to use POP3 features with their free accounts but now this is no longer available. It is part of a bigger suite called Workplace and offers so much more than email. And it just works! Cons There was a bit of a learning curve because of the other applications included in Zoho mail, or rather Zoho Workplace. But Zoho support got me up and running real quick.
