This low barrier to entry provides small businesses ideal email usability as the launch and conduct their business. Pros Zoho Mail provides an easy, free way for small businesses to start a business email account linked to their custom domain. The mail client includes exemplary spam blocking and full features similar to or better than well-known business mail clients like Outlook. The app is easy to use and allows admins to monitor mail from more than one Zoho business account on-the-go. Highly recommend! Cons The only small improvement I can see is to add an option (or if this already exists make it easier to find) for super admins to be able to switch between accounts in the web client. This is easy to do in the app, but doesn't seem to be an obvious option in the web client. It also has sufficient storage capacity for all the emails, and the process of sending bulk emails is relatively quick. Cons The email interface needs improvement and looks like a poor piece of software, despite the user's costly membership plan. Apart from email services, it offers quite a lot of useful tools like calender, booking, notes, etc. which is a great productivity booster Pros Zoho mail is an amazing mail service that provides quite a lot at a very affordable price. The only reason we switched to zoho mail was its affordability but as we started using it regularly we found so many useful features like scheduling mails, group emails, open receipts and so much more. My personal favourite is group emailing, it lets me create a group of contacts which i can send mail whenever I want without having to enter every email ID manually. Its a huge time saver for person like me who has to send broadcast emails regularly. The other thing that I love about Zoho mail is it filters out the newsletters in a separate folder on the left corner which decluters my inbox, so I only get whats important in my Inbox. I highly recommend this tool for anyone who is looking for affordable business emails Cons The only thing that I don’t like about this app is it doesn’t let me switch between multiple accounts. Cons One thing that they need to improve is, providing live help for mailbox installation instead of video training. Establishing mail was a little complicated because the program might have to be set up by professionals. Aside from that, there are no issues with running this program. Since I don't want to run my own server for this and I wanted a change from Google Apps I decided to go for Zoho. It made a very likable impression on me and I wanted to give my business to another company than the monopolist Google. So I went for the Pro Account and paid for 1 year in advance. But so far Zoho Mail disappointed in every respect. There were several problems and almost none was addressed by the horribly slow support. The problems: - The exchange server denied any connection attempts (msync.zoho.com). - I couldn't import contacts from Apples' Contact App, it would just upload forever (the file is 3.5MB). - Almost every email went to Spam I wrote to support but didn't get anything back (not even an automatic email). 2 days later I was quite annoyed and wrote a tweet @ZohoCares. That seemed to speed up the process. They explained to me that I have to activate the Exchange functionality first. A fact that was well hidden in the usability nightmare the Zoho backend and settings page is. It was also nowhere to be found in the quite bad documentation. But well, it worked. The Zoho Mail support then told me that I have to whitelist all senders manually to prevent them from going to spam. That is a joke. The mails are not coming from sketchy domains and no other provider has problems. I got into serious trouble because I didn't receive a couple of important emails first. Whitelisting every mail address in advance is not an option. I would have to hire someone to do that. So I told them. But never received a reply. Then another 4 days later and after more tweets the indian support guy explained to me that I cannot upload contact files larger than 2MB. He suggested that I manually split them up. 2MB!?!?!?! In 2015!?!?!? For a business account where I pay money? This is ridiculous. And because they didn't say so on the page and don't provide you with any error messages (it just loads forever) you will try for 2 hours and then spend more time writing support. What a waste of time! Today emails are still going to spam, my contacts are not imported and support is pathetically slow. I can only warn anybody from signing up with Zoho Mail. I will try to get a refund and look for another provider. Pros The colorful logo calms your raging anger about the bad support a bit. Cons Doesn't work as advertised. Almost every mail goes to Spam. However, there are much better tools out there, especially for email marketing. Pros Zoho Mail really brings a lot of functionality to the table. The ability to conveniently set signatures and queue emails is very good, and will help any person doing Email Marketing at the beginning. I believe Zoho is good for small businesses and people who are just getting into these kinds of jobs. Alternatively, people that just need to get organized in regards to their daily life (and who need a business email) might also find it affordable and comparatively full of functions when compared to other providers like Gmail. Cons The Zoho app I used crashed a lot and it had problems loading certain things. We could adscribe those problems to my computer, OS, etcetera, but the people I worked with at the company that used Zoho all complained about the same issues, and we were all in different countries. This is the first thing I wanted them to solve, because it presented me with lots of functionality but made me waste time by having to restart the app or figure out online how to solve a certain issue. Aside from that, Zoho is not really intuitive, it's not exactly too 'easy to use' so you might find yourself looking for tutorials online and stuff like that. Review Source Nathan L. Cons It's hard to set up if you don't know what you're doing. It requires adding and editing entries to you DNS host server for your domain hosting. Pros I'm in love with the interface and the ease of doing everything on the platform. I used to use the default email hosting available with my cPanel but since I migrated to zohomail, my experience has been really impressive.Initially, I had just few emails to setup and I did all that with the free plan and I later had to pay when I needed more emails. Zohomail has a very cool UI, and there is a mobile app to ensure I receive my messages on the go. The app has a nice design and is reliable, which is why I keep it instead of other apps. Cons There are too many features and the icons are sometimes so small that they blend in with everything else, so if you don't use it on a regular basis, you can easily get lost in the app. Same goes for the website.
