I like it better than Microsoft OneNote. I think I still like Apple Notes better since I use a MacBook Pro and iPhone. Pros It is both simple and beautiful in design. Also, it is user-friendly. Cons It doesn't offer a lot more than, say, Apple Notes. The functionality is similar. It mostly depends on if someone uses Apple across the board and/or wants a change. July 29, 2023 5.0 Zoho Notebook is simple to use and you do not need any tutorial due to its user-friendly design. It offers features such as any other organization app, but it also comes with important attributes. This app may be perfectly used for work, education, and personal purposes; also, it comes with the ability to share your notes with family and friends, so they can collaborate with you. Zoho Notebook is nice and quick to use to organize your daily tasks and add different types of notes: draws, texts, files, audio notes, etc. Pros Zoho allows you to use different notebooks in which you add your notes, audio notes, to-do lists, etc. This helps me to organize my life as I can use one notebook for personal stuff and another one for work content. The fact that I can create an audio note in moments when I cannot type is excellent, and it gets stored just as other text notes. This app also offers you the option to merge different lists (one list will be deleted and its elements will be added to the other list). On the other hand, one of my favorite features of Zoho Notebooks is that I can create shortcuts for each of my notes and add them to my main screen and tap them for quick access. Cons When creating to-do lists, the app does not give you the option to add sub-categories to each task. Pros Zoho Notebook allows me to create, store and manage my personal and work notes easily, it gives me accessibility and portability to them regardless of device, place and time; with Zoho Notebook I can organize them in separate notebooks and add custom covers to differentiate them without much effort, also tag them to frame the degree of importance they represent to me, it is interesting to have the ability to add images, audios, links and other files from the desktop, it is also very useful its great integration with other Zoho online services: such as meetings, projects and Lens which are tools that we use in our department on a daily basis to develop many of our work activities. May 22, 2023 5.0 It helps me to stay organized with all the processes I run daily, since I include them as notes, Zoho Notebook allows me to easily remember the tasks I have to perform when there are pending processes to be executed, without losing the thread of what has already been done and even more when we talk about processes involving customers. Pros Zoho Notebook is a very versatile tool for taking notes, I use it as my virtual agenda to record and organize all the information about the processes I perform daily in compliance and development of my work, I can always carry the information with me and easily access it from any device no matter where I am, which allows me to constantly track each of the processes and in the same way validate its evolution; Zoho Notebook allows me to organize my notes in different notebooks while I can customize them to identify them more easily (I can add different covers), I like the idea of being able to add images, videos and audio recordings to the notes which I find very useful as it helps me to remember the pending processes I have to do and not lose the coherent thread. Cons So far there is no displeasure with using Zoho Notebook, it does its job very well for what it was designed for, it allows me to easily and seamlessly access my notes from anywhere and device 10 out of 10 for Zoho Notebook. June 16, 2023 5.0 I really feel very satisfied with the use of Zoho Notebook, my overall experience is complete with this product, it gives me all the necessary functions to take notes and share files in a safe, easy and accessible way from any device. Pros I like its great design and the projection of its approach that allows anyone to use it very easily; its implementation is really simple. Zoho Notebook offers me everything I need to create and manage my personal and work notes without much effort and additionally offers me the option to share my files with other people, which for me is useful and convenient given the work area in which I work, because it allows me to collaborate with my team members. Zoho Notebook includes several functions with which I can create text, photo and audio notes and even draw on my notes. I like its availability and compatibility with different operating systems, platforms and devices which allows me to access from anywhere and anytime to my notes without any restriction. Cons So far there have been few problems I have had with this tool, but there has been a recurring one, on several occasions I have noticed a lot of instability when synchronizing files on my mobile device, ie, files are not synchronized automatically or the process can take longer than normal. this usually happens when I use mobile data but not with WiFi connection. I would this software 2.5 out of 5 stars. It needs major improvements. If they provide the necessary features then it could be powerful software as notes are stored and backed up online. I did not extensively use the Zoho notebook as it did not meet my expectation. Hopefully, they will listen to my feedback and will do the needful. Pros The first thing I like about Zoho software(s) is Security. They provide MFA(multi-factor authentication), and device management features for added security. My note-taking experience in Zoho Notebook is average. This software has the potential to replace OneNote but somehow the user experience is not so rich and other important features like templates, formatting, etc are missing. However, while taking notes you can see full notes of previous activity history which I think is pretty amazing. Cons In my opinion, the user experience needs to be improved. Also, the background of the notes is a bit boring. The background should make the user focus on the content. There are no copy formatting (etc) features which makes working with Zoho Notebook hard. While using this application, I felt that It should have global search features to search required information within all notebooks. So, the global search is missing. Also, You can export your notes in limited file types like .pdf and Zoho-specific format. All its features do it well, it has its flaws, but they are nothing serious. It is an excellent platform that I would rate 8/10, highly recommended. Pros It is excellent for taking notes since it is a multiplatform tool, that is, it can be used on Android or IOS, it has many features to take notes from to-do lists to different types of paragraphs, bullet points, etc., in addition, you can add videos, images, hyperlinks with incredible ease, due to its drag and drop system. The free plan is excellent, nothing is required, and the cloud storage option works great. Cons It cannot be used without an internet connection, not even the notes were already written. It does not have an image and video editor. It does not have many integrations with third parties. Pros Zoho Notebook is best for note taking and document arrangement. The task tools also can be shared and i can collaborate the task with my team that are using the same software. The notebook is very flexible and i can add various type of media like photo and clip video on the notebook. Cons The only thing that i think i dislike with Zoho Notebook is the software will be very sluggish after a clip video are embedded on the note. It taking so much time for the video to be rendered and to be able to be play on the software. The photo or audio will also take some time, but not too bad as the video clip. I really enjoy using the app and look forward to exploring it more. Pros As a creative, I really like the ability to customize notebooks and note boards in Soho Notebook. While I have used and continue to use other note taking apps, I like the fact that it is easy to use, I can quickly get to notes needed for any given project and that my special projects have a personalized notebook that’s exclusive. It allows you to create lists, boards, to attach documents, images, and more. I’m still a newbie so I feel like I get a treat or a new surprise everytime I use it. It is easy to use and you get a great deal of storage with the free account and an option to upgrade of course. You can even share and export notes. This is definitely my new note taking crush... it helps me a great deal when I need to be in more of a creative frame of mind. Cons Because I’m still learning, I don’t have many dislikes at present. I think it’s what I expected in a note taking app/software and that it includes a few unexpected bells and whistles. If I am able to update, I’ll stop back in to provide any helpful feedback. I'm not a big fan of Evernote but Zoho Notebook looks weak in comparison. I'll stick with Keep since it integrates with Google Docs, my main writing too. Pros I like the clean interface for the web app and the web clipper itself is easy to use. There's a contextual menu for clipping selected text, taking a screenshot (full-page), entering into a minimalist reader view, or creating a link card. Once the web clipper is open by clicking its browser button, you can also create a quick note in various colors. In the web app, notes and cards can be arranged into groups or tagged. The covers of notebooks can be customized, which is a nice touch. Clips updated in the web app in real time. Cons Just like Keep, you can't clip images directly from the web. You can upload them via the web app or the clipper, however. But that's not ideal. Some sort of misguided copyright concern. This is not going to prevent anyone from either collecting images or misusing them. It's just going to annoy users. Tasks can only be created via the apps not the web clipper. Notebook doesn't integrate with Zoho Writer or any other Zoho app so it's very much a standalone. Review Source Ryan E. Pros There are a few nice features offered by Zoho Notebook that are nevertheless not particularly functional or useful. You can, for example, choose your own picture to adorn the covers of your various notebook icons instead of simply picking a color. There is also available two-factor authentication, which is great for keeping things extra secure, and the interface is so pared down that it is almost impossible not to immediately figure out how the software works. It does also have good cross-platform support. Cons Zoho Notebook is missing a lot of extremely basic functionalities, many of which are related to its severely limited WYSIWYG editor. The font cannot be changed, there are extremely few formatting options, and the bits of formatting that you are allowed to use oftentimes change if you close and then reopen a note. Line breaks vs. paragraphs are extremely problematic (the software doesn't seem to recognize the difference between the two). It also lacks robust tagging or organizational features. It functions better than the more popular digital notebooks I've used. I wish it was more modern overall. It looks like it's 5-10 years old and the margins and menus are gray. Pros From the dashboard- write, record, capture, or create to do lists. I read the help card and it was indeed helpful. When starting a Notebook a colorful eye catching cover is assigned to it, really helps you find the right Notebook fast! Arrange notebooks and pages in any order, similar to how apps can be arranged on your phone. Formatting options and background color options. Customize and insert a table. Add lines for separation. Best of all, no freeze ups and no sluggishness when working on a large note. Cons I was surprised that there was no option to change the faunt. The page can't be zoomed in or out. The draw/write option only has pencil, pen, or highlight in one color. To do lists can't have tasks and sub tasks. It was hard to get used to the setup and find out how to perform certain functions.
