There are more expensive options that would probably give us more flexibility, but Sage does the job for a small business like ours without much fuss. Pros It works. Since it's old, it's gone through update after update, and it's bug-free. There's plenty of alternatives, most would be more expensive, I'm sure. Our team is familiar with it and that helps with completing our work as a company. The fact that we can, through integration, have payments automatically applied to invoices is a time saver. Cons It's old. It's built on top of old architecture which can cause for limitation on improvements moving forward. We have an issue with our data and that causes for some annoyances but overall there's nothing that doesn't work. Pros We've been using Sage 50 Accounting software for five years now, and it's ideally suited for easily and conveniently creating quotes, invoices and orders. The sequential numbering and the very clear layout of all data are perfectly designed. You can view sales figures and various calculations at any time with just a mouse click. Cons I sometimes think the support could be faster. But that's just a minor drawback because they always help, and in a very friendly manner. Month end reporting is faster and its easier to keep track of our finance without relying on multiple spreadsheets. Pros I've been using Sage 50 Accounting for a while and it has made our daily accounting work much easier. Creating invoices, tracking expenses and checking reports are all easy to straightforward and also like that it works well with Excel when I need to to review or share data. Cons Sage software is reliable, but the interface feels a old and sometimes it takes a few extra clicks to find certain reports. Cons We are currently using the cloud/online version since Sage 50 Accounting desktop limit the number of users to 40 and lack some features. It has made daily financial tasks much more orgainzed. Cons Sage 50 Accounting reporta could be more customizable and the software can feel a little slow when working with larger files and Integration with a few third party tools could also be smoother. It is considered excellent for inventory, payroll, accounts management, and report generation. I would recommend that if you need everything related to accounting in one single platform, then Sage 50 Accounting is the tool where you will find all features in one place. Pros Sage 50 Accounting platform is, in my view, a very good tool because it is a simple platform that works equally well for both small and large businesses. Whether it is any accounting-related task, no matter how complex, it has the capability to solve it within minutes. This is one of its best features, which is why in the market it is known as an excellent platform for tasks like invoicing, inventory, payroll, and accounting. Cons What I didn't like about Sage 50 Accounting is its cost, especially for small companies, because many small businesses have limited budgets, which makes it feel a bit complicated and expensive for them to use. Additionally, its design looks a little outdated to me. In this modern era, it needs some updates to its interface. However, if we look at it from the functionality and work perspective, it is very good.
