Pros What I like most about Sage 50 Accounting is how dependable it is. We use it every day for invoicing, tracking expenses, managing accounts and running financial reports and it handles everything really well. The reporting features are especially useful because they give us a clear picture of how the business is performing. I also like that I can see account information in real time and easily keep track of transactions. It may not have the most modern-looking interface but it gets the job done and rarely gives us any issues. Built more for on-premise than hybrid setups, but dependable and predictable, which is what I want from software I keep running. Pros It rarely fights me once set up. Installation is straightforward and the multi-user network setup has held up well without constant intervention. The automatic backup gives me real peace of mind, and it runs on standard Windows hardware we already own. When I have needed technical support, the team actually resolved issues instead of reading from a script. Cons Updates occasionally need extra troubleshooting before everyone is back to normal. Performance also drags once the company file grows large, especially with several users connected at once.
