We are using it as a small freehold company to produce professional accounts, reconcile the bank account, and maintain a clear audit trail for both freeholders and the accountant. So far it's a reliable system.

Pros

This is not an exciting product but a practical one. It lets you keep all your core financials running out of one system.

Cons

It's a bit clunky by today's standards. I think it could be a little more seamless with a more ergonomic design.

My overall experience with Sage 50 Accounting has been good. I mainly find it useful for managing invoices, financial records, and day-to-day accounting tasks. It is reliable for regular business use, although getting familiar with some of the features takes some time.

Pros

I like that Sage 50 Accounting keeps most of the accounting work in one place. Invoicing is straightforward, and managing customer and financial data is fairly easy once you get used to the software. It is useful for regular accounting work and saves time compared to handling everything manually.

Cons

Some features can take a little time to understand, especially if you are using the software for the first time. I also feel that the interface could be a bit more modern and easier to navigate.

It eliminates me from conducting the business out of numerous messy Spreadsheets. Now Sage 50 simply holds all of our Vendor Bills and Customer Invoices in a single list; therefore, I always know where we stand. Also it makes creating Financial Reports for the bank substantially less complicated and overall it works fine for our company.

Pros

With Sage 50 I can literally see what has been billed and what needs to be paid from all the vendors in one location as opposed to digging through paperwork. They recently updated the user interface and it appears more contemporary than prior versions and also being able to upload pdf bills into the program and having the program automatically scan those bills to save me time entering information is tremendous.

Cons

Their pricing model is totally insane and they continue to raise their prices continuously and add no additional features that provide me value. The reporting capabilities within the custom reporting function is extremely difficult due to the fact that you have to roll all the way to the right side of the screen in order to locate the print button.

:( Should have researched another company and product years ago... life got in the way, and it's just unfortunate for me i guess.

Pros

for the better part of 20 years, From PeachTree to sage... no stars available for my opinion? I am not an accountant, just a small business that thought was retiring, but did not.

Cons

cost and service. Really nothing positive to say about the Sage organization. It's literally the wrong product and wrong company for my needs.

We've used it daily for years and it just works. There are more expensive options that would probably give us more flexibility, but Sage does the job for a small business like ours without much fuss.

Pros

It works. Since it's old, it's gone through update after update, and it's bug-free. There's plenty of alternatives, most would be more expensive, I'm sure. Our team is familiar with it and that helps with completing our work as a company. The fact that we can, through integration, have payments automatically applied to invoices is a time saver.

Cons

It's old. It's built on top of old architecture which can cause for limitation on improvements moving forward. We have an issue with our data and that causes for some annoyances but overall there's nothing that doesn't work.

My overall experience with Sage 50 Accounting has been positive. It is a reliable and easy to use Accounting solutions that simplifies invoicing, expense tracking, and financial reporting. The software offers good value for money and helps keep business data organized. Although interface could be more modern and some advanced features require a bit of learning, it performs well overall.

Pros

Sage 50 Accounting is and offers good value for money. It makes invoicing , expense tracking, and data management simple and organized. Customer support is responsive, and I experienced very few bugs or technical issues. The online access features are also useful for managing work efficiently.

Cons

The interface could be more modern and user-friendly. Some advanced features take time to understand, especially for new users. Online access can be improved, and fixing minor bugs and performance issues would make the software even better.

Overall, Sage 50 Accounting has been a dependable solution for managing our business finances. It has helped us stay organized, reduce manual work, and maintain accurate financial records without much hassle. I particularly appreciate how easy it is to manage invoices, monitor payments, and generate reports whenever needed. Although there are a few areas that could be modernized, especially the interface and cloud accessibilit.

Pros

The biggest advantage for me is how much time it saves on routine accounting tasks. Creating invoices, recording payments, and keeping track of expenses is straightforward, and everything stays well organized in one place. I also like the reporting features because they make it easy to understand the financial health of the business without spending hours preparing reports manually. The software feels dependable, and once it's set up, it handles everyday accounting very smoothly.

Cons

One thing I would like to see improved is the overall interface, as it looks a little outdated compared to newer accounting platforms.

I do all my accounting through it: creating customer and product information, generating invoices, setting up subscription invoices, booking all account transactions and preparing for the tax advisor.

Pros

We've been using Sage 50 Accounting software for five years now, and it's ideally suited for easily and conveniently creating quotes, invoices and orders. The sequential numbering and the very clear layout of all data are perfectly designed. You can view sales figures and various calculations at any time with just a mouse click.

Cons

I sometimes think the support could be faster. But that's just a minor drawback because they always help, and in a very friendly manner.

Sage 50 Accounting keeps our accounts organized in one place and cuts down on manual work. Month end reporting is faster and its easier to keep track of our finance without relying on multiple spreadsheets.

Pros

I've been using Sage 50 Accounting for a while and it has made our daily accounting work much easier. Creating invoices, tracking expenses and checking reports are all easy to straightforward and also like that it works well with Excel when I need to to review or share data.

Sage software is reliable, but the interface feels a old and sometimes it takes a few extra clicks to find certain reports.
