You don't need instructions because it is laid out in a great format. Very intuitive. Cons It's all good. It's easy to see all your events in one place & making changes is so simple and in real time. The simple tables are clear & easy to read and it definitely saves me time not having to track manually. I like the fact that I can easily toggle between my events & my volunteer events all in one place and never forget what I signed up for nor do I need to search through my emails. The software also allows me to see what events & volunteer hours I have already completed. Wish all agility clubs would use this software! Cons Can't think of anything except when I first signed up as a user, it took me a while to review all the features. Once I started seeing what it could do it was easy. October 12, 2020 4.0 Pros I love that the new updates make this a great tool for agility trials. Cons It's easy to use, but with new features, there's some confusion between the person and the dog. I also enjoyed the process. Pros The software is very intuitive for the end user. The flexibility of the software allowed me to accomplish anything I wanted to do. If I ever needed assistance from the developer he was never more than an email away and would reply with easy to understand instructions in a very timely manner. If I needed new functionality he would add it to the list of new features and the simpler changes were done in record time. Cons Even with the complexity of the software the administrator could easily do the basic configuration without support. If the administrator wanted to be more imaginative more support videos would have been beneficial. This is currently being addressed and during this process administration support is still readily available. Review Source MG Michele G. Several local agility organizations are using the software for their trials I particularly appreciate the possibilty to choose the tasks I am doing and at what time, the ease of checking ahead of time my commitments without looking at complicated shedules. Like how clear the information is presented Pros Ease of use and possibility of changing the selection online as event get closer if I am unable to attend for some reason. o Cons To be easier to enter different dogs in competitions. April 28, 2018 5.0 Pros The program is designed to allow an organization to track volunteer hours and volunteers to self-schedule shifts. It could easily be adapted for small business use as well. The screens are very easy to navigate and at a glace the user can see which shifts they have signed-up for and which shifts are still available. The organization can also easily identify available tasks to recruit volunteers for those shifts. Users can also easily change shifts as needed and annual tallies are clearly shown. The program provides accurate information quickly to users. No special training or technical skills are required to use the program. Very user friendly. Cons I am.not aware of any negative issues with the program. From a user perspective the software performs as needed. Review Source TK Tracy K. Pros The Signup Place is an quick and easy way to sign up for volunteer positions at Moredogz trials. I like that I can sign up as well as cancel very easily. The chart displaying the volunteer positions provides a great visual when looking for available time slots and jobs. The Signup Place provides a running tally of the hours volunteered to date. This is very useful as we are required to fulfil a certain number of hours. Cons I needed to use two separate emails and set up two separate accounts for my two dogs. Review Source AS Antoinette S. I can easily review them and receive a reminder shortly beforehand. Pros Any volunteer signed up with the organization using this software can instantly see where there is an opportunity/need for a volunteer in a specific role and/or on a specific date and take that slot. When the date of the task draws near, the volunteer is reminded via email a few days in advance. Cons I haven't experienced any. It works, it does exactly what is needed. Facilities Director Recreational Facilities and Services Used the software for: 6-12 months ### "Using The Signup Place for Paws4Fun Agility Club volunteering" October 9, 2020 4.0 Pros The software provides our club with a volunteer sign-up page that is easy for users to volunteer for club tasks, and to view those commitments moving forward. As an organizer, it provides a real-time update as to tasks/volunteer slots filled, and an overview of tasks remaining to be assigned. As an administrator, it's easy to customize the software to conform to an event, rather than the other way around. At the higher end, which I have not yet really explored, a lot of tasks can be automated in the background, such as emails, and can also be configured to work with PayPal. Cons It does take a little bit of experimentation to learn the software's expectations, but support is readily available, and the developer is committed to helping users understand how to get the most out of the software, and always has an eye to making it work better. Pros I use it regularly for registering and volunteering for the trials. Very easy and intuitive interface for initial entries and follow-up review and modification of options. Pros I've been using this software for several years now, both as a volunteer and as an administrator, and it's functionality and ease of use has been instrumental in making volunteering for my trials run so smoothly it's no longer a chore. Pros Great for allowing volunteers to sign up for activities they understand or for times where they are able if they are doing multiple activities that day. Cons It took a quick email to figure out how to unregister for something when an injury came up, but the developper was great at explaining and it was simple to do on my own!
