### "Avoid Gloss Genius at All Costs!"

Awful. In the beginning it was rocky, the middle was okay, the end was awful. They only care about protecting themselves legally. If you go through their terms of service, they mention that members cannot file a class action lawsuit against them. Now why would they ever have that in their terms of service?

I have always had issues with Gloss Genius.

Cons

I read on the Better Business Bureau that they sell your information. I have noticed that I received a series of charges on my business bank account. Three of them so far, I stopped payments on all three before it went through. However, I am asking myself how they have access to my account. I never given my account number to anyone else but Gloss Genius. I implore you all to check your accounts. Make sure there are no fraudulent charges that shows up. Recently, they asked me to verify my account, after I sent all the information to them. They shut me down, and are offering zero support to rectify it. Something is fishy about this company.

I love that it’s easy for clients to book on the app and have their card on file for easy checkout. I also love the ease of them being able to cancel. Love that it sends automatic reminders for their appointments. Nice to be able to look at my schedule with the app. So much more!

### "Pretty good system! "

Gloss genius is a solid product, but doesn’t have all of the features I need as a massage therapist. A nail tech I work with uses it and loves it though!

I love the fast and easy checkout process!

Cons

Unfortunately gloss genius doesn’t have the ability for SOAP notes. As a massage therapist, this is a must for me.

Overall my experience has been good, however I hope that gloss genius can think about adding different payout methods the way square allows. That would make my experience so much better.

Pros

I like that that there is a flat rate for transactions and that I can phase my clients pay that fee instead of myself

Cons

My biggest con is that there is only 1 kind of payout method. I’m used to scheduling all my money to be deposited at once every week or instantly for a fee so I really dislike like that I can no longer do either one of those methods now that I no longer use square.

The Gloss Genius community is wonderful and the support on their platform is amazing - especially for any of your customer service needs pertaining to the app. - as well as the follow up to make sure everything was answered to your satisfaction.

The analytics!!!! It is crucial that we know our numbers in this business!!

I would like to see a different background color for my "more seasoned" eyes and I would like to be able to "zoom in", but I guess my readers will do for now!!

### "Its good but could be great with some adjustments "

Overall experience is a little frustrating. Im missing the functionality of the previous scheduling add but I love the look and customer notifications of gloss genius. Not sure if that will be enough to keep me.

I love the professional look of the site and different tabs that gives the experience as if you had your own website!

Cons

Functionality could be much better. There are a lot of useful features that are missing from this app that would benefit both the clients and service providers. ex: customers cannot reschedule on their own. - card reader processing errors-checkout shows incorrect info when trying to send receipts-modifying appointments reverts back to original when its on checkout screen. -gift card does not have the option to create an amount. -appointments that are canceled with a deposit only have the option to mark as no shows. a lot of places have non refundable deposits. - add on services are not in a sub location so customers can book an add on as their service so you have to double check appointments. -support phone no one is available to take calls and texts are very slow sometimes I don't get a response at all.

Over all it has been absolutely amazing. The transition was super easy and customer support helped with anything I needed. I love that every main function a business could need is included in the price.

Pros

SMS reminders included, next day payout, customizable website, multimember calendar, confirmation texts for clients, absolutely the best customer support, amazing pos system

Cons

Would love a waiting list and if the calendar would stay open for all employees. Slight hassle to remember to check everyone’s calendar when it’s defaulted to whoever is logged on. Deposits would definitely be a great thing to have. Also, when booking clients during the same time, some times one of the appointments gets hidden behind another one.

GG is always updating and improving. Adjusting the gift card feature to be customizable would be helpful!

I have tried other services and this one takes the cake! All-inclusive, User Friendly, Timesaving--need I say more!?

Pros

I love being able to check my analytics which update daily. My website is super user friendly, the reminder/confirmation texts and emails are time saving! I can see whether my client has confirmed or not so I am able to follow-up easily! The follow-up emails are amazing, they have a personal touch that I didn't even realize was happening at first, but my clients let me know how personal it felt to them.

Cons

There isn't anything I don't love! Seriously!
