December 2, 2018 5.0 Pros As a director working with a lot of parents and staff members, I don't like seeming accessible on weekends and evenings, and therefore never responded to emails until Monday morning. This app changed that, and I love it! I can now respond instantly, but have it be sent later, so my inbox is clear on Monday morning! Also great for emails that need to get sent at a specific time in the evening, I can do it before 5pm and schedule it for hours later. Cons this add on works so well for all my needs! It creates folders so the user can refer to the emails that they delayed. The button is very visible for use. Cons It cannot be used in an unlimited way. There is a limit on how many emails one can delay in a day. Over time, boomerang can't be used anymore. It wasn't clear if it was a free trial because I used it at work and for personal use and I can't use it anymore. The scheduling and preview features are especially helpful. Cons Unfortunately, boomerang isn’t currently integrated with Instagram, which does make posting to that platform difficult. Sending emails can be an issue, but Boomerang has been a great solution for that. I can write an email whenever I want and then schedule it to be sent at a time that I want my client to get it. Cons It's not a problem with the software, really, but it makes it easy to put off responding to messages. I send out a lot of email reminders and have reoccurring tasks that it helps to keep everything in one place rather than having to go to a different software to create a task that an email gave me to complete. Pros What I like most about Boomerang is the ability to “resend” mail to my Inbox as a reminder to either respond to it or set it as a task. Cons There isn’t anything I like least about Boomerang. So I do not need to sit on the Computer all the time or can plan my Mails early in the morning and do not need to worry that I will miss it. Pros I use Boomerang for Gmail and now finally have the missing feature that I can set the time and date when Emails should be sent. I can set a boomerang for 2 days, a week, 2 weeks, etc. depending on when I want to follow up. Boomerang will automatically send me an email after that requested time period. I never have to worry about forgetting to follow up with a contact again. Cons Sometimes it's a little glitchy, wherein my original email will sometimes disappear from the folder I've filed it into if it gets Boomerang-ed back to me. Cons I used this as an add-on to my internet in order to be able to schedule emails, and so once Gmail finally added a feature to schedule emails directly from Gmail, I didn't really have much use for Boomerang anymore. It's useful for team reminders for weekly tasks. Cons On the Pro account you don't get much more than you get on the Personal account, but the winner difference is that you can use it with G suite business accounts and you can set up recurring messages. For example, it helps me schedule invoices to go out from my small law firm on a day when I may be in court. Otherwise, invoices would be late and so would payments from my clients. Pros I installed Boomerang so I could schedule when I want emails to be sent. I like how it expands the capabilities of Outlook. Cons I don't like that it requests permission to send email as me.
