MYR POS is a solid, easy-to-use system that’s great for small to mid-sized restaurants and cafés. Setup is quick, the interface is simple for staff to learn, and day-to-day transactions run smoothly with reliable card payments. Customer support is generally helpful, though response times can vary. It offers decent value for money and enough customization for basic needs, but more complex setups or integrations may feel limited. Overall, it’s a dependable POS for growing hospitality businesses that want straightforward operations without too much technical hassle.

Pros

Our clients love MYR POS so far — it’s been smooth, reliable, and incredibly easy for their teams to use. Setup was quick, training took no time at all, and the system makes daily operations and card payments seamless. Support has been helpful when needed, and overall it’s great value for money. For restaurants and cafés looking for a straightforward, user-friendly POS, MYR has been a great fit.

Cons

Nothing so far, we haven't had any problems or anything brought to our attention that is wrong with it. Maybe more systems to choose from in terms of hardware and display options.

It's been great. We've had a few issues, and every time the MYR team has been responsive and informative.

Pros

The integration with delivery platforms and the simplicity of the back-end systems were the reasons why we switched.

Cons

The lack of a complete loyalty program from the beginning was a concern, but it wasn't a deal breaker. Now that MYR has partnered with DataCandy, we are looking forward to the collaboration.

I like the system very much. It helps me a lot in my day to day operations. It has so many extra options that helped me a lot.

Pros

Quick customer service on on-boarding and we got everything delivered on timely manner. It also gave us financing opetion.

Cons

Little bit complex when we are using for the first time and also we have to explain everything to our team members as well but once you get used to it will help a lot.

FANTASTIC; out of all the available providers, we LOVE the MYR POS, because we can be part of the set-up and the layout and discuss our ideas.

Pros

Our Dixie Lee team loves the customer support; whatever we ask, MYR can customize just about anything. We know we can count on MYR whenever we have an issue and the MYR team doesn't stop until all our concerns are addressed.

Cons

We have not experienced an issue where we didn't like MYR. Whenever we have a concern or question the MYR team is available to address it.

Le syssteme MYR super facil modifier le menu a notre façon. J adore 🥰 execellent pour petits commerces ou grands .

Le service que j ai eu ce matin avec \[contenu sensible caché\] super patient , clair , execellent il a bien expliqué mon problème et avec la camera il voyait ce que je fesait donc ça allait super bien a deux . Mais le systeme caisse MYR je l adore facil a modifier a ajouter et mettre a jour ton menu c est instantanée . Contente depuis 4 ans . Merci équipe good job . 👍🏻

Selon les années ou le staff technique avant j avais pas eu un bon service,3 ans en arrière ce qui est mieux avec aujourd hui. Ou la dernière année . Donc bravo pour cette amelioration avant difficil avoir le support ou on recevais jamais les retours d appels lorsque problème pour facturation. Je devais me débrouiller seule . Ou si j en recevais on me fesait sentir tres tres mal si je comprenais pas . \[contenu sensible caché\] je sais tu est le master de la place , mais il faut travailler avec bcp de patience avec nous tes clients les propios (moi) de nos commerces . Ton dernier e mail un peu arrogant a mon avis. Si je peux me permettre. Me dire que une madame de 80 ans comprenais mieux que moi sans probleme.

Smooth, easy, straightforward. I would recommend MYR to all new cafes opening in Canada! Great features and great service.

Pros

Customer support is incredibly helpful and fast to respond. Bugs and issues are fixed almost immediately with great guidance. Set up is easy with \[sensitive content hidden\]! Thanks \[sensitive content hidden\]. Value for money is awesome. I've used MYR for several years in my businesses. Thoroughly recommend!

Cons

Not much at all! If anything, I wish there was an app that we could use to access the back office area! But honestly no notes!

All in all, I'm really pleased with MYR and my decision to switch from Lightspeed. Props to the tech support team that is quick to return your message and is very helpful!

Pros

The front end is really easy to use and requires minimal staff training. The menu is simple to configure and to make price changes. Technical support is quick about getting back to you and is usually super helpful.

Cons

We sometimes experience connectivity issues with our payment processing machine. Also, would love to see a better gift card feature added where we would be able to input the customer's info.

Overall, my experience with MYR has been really positive. It’s a system that understands the pace and needs of a small food business like mine. It’s quick, reliable, and simple to use—even when things get busy. It helped me streamline my workflow at the counter, and I spend way less time worrying about orders and more time focusing on the food and the customers. It’s not perfect, but it definitely made my day-to-day easier.

Pros

how intuitive and efficient the system is. It’s clearly designed with the realities of a fast-paced food service in mind. The interface is clean, easy to navigate, and it really helps speed things up during rush hours. I also appreciate how flexible it is for customizing the menu and managing orders—makes life a lot easier.

Cons

Overall I’m happy with the system, but if I had to point out one thing, I’d say the back-end reporting could be a bit more detailed or customizable. It gets the job done, but having more control over how data is displayed would make it even more useful for tracking trends and planning ahead.
