It's also somewhat ubiquitous, so many are adept at it. Cons Cost, general Intuit account and subscription issues. Terrible pricing, confusing licensure when combined with other Intuit products. It completely integrated with our books so there is no special data entry for our financial statements. Pros Very simple to run payroll for salary and hourly. Cons Confirming that taxes and social security are filed/paid can be confusing because there are so many reports at various times. They are also shown for a short bit and then put into History. I like the reports they offer with the payroll and even printing checks is easy. They also have a time tracking feature which could make it easier to track hours. Pros What I like most about Quickbooks Payroll is that it is easy to setup employees and their Tax Withholdings. I also like the reports on qb payroll versus other payroll platforms. It also has the ability to pay federal, state, and local taxes. I also like being able to have the support team to chat with if there are ever any issues. Cons What I like least about quickbooks payroll is when you need to have two checks for one employee in the same period you have to run the payroll and then you can run another afterwards to do an extra check for the employee.
