### "Great Accounting Software"

August 10, 2025

5.0

One of my best accounting software I have used being very user-friendly. Technical support was also solid ... once you got to the correct department.

Pros

I liked the fact that it just worked without bugs. That said, it is on the user to ensure it is set up correctly and that all the features are taken advantage of for the best user experience.

Cons

It is pricey for the accounting software and there is an additional substantial charge for the payroll module.

### "Makes life easy. "

May 12, 2026

Enjoying it so far. I don’t like the idea of switching to something else. We are able to keep all 3 of our businesses separate.

Pros

Quickbooks make it easy to keep all records in one place from year to year. Reports are easy to run.

Cons

The price is expensive. Once they went to online I feel it became very clicky and takes longer to enter transactions.

### "My experience with QuickBooks as an Accountant in a real estate industry."

August 24, 2026

4.0

Generally my experience with QuickBooks Enterprise has been good. The software is simple to use and manage cash flows. It seamlessly integrates with external applications and is accessible from anywhere. Use of the product has full financial control and compliance in our real estate industry. It has also improved general financial clarity.

Pros

QuickBooks Enterprise is an all in one accounting solution. The software does well when it comes to invoice and transactions management. It is also incredibly easy to use and has responsive customer support services providers. QuickBooks Enterprise has many helpful extensions and integrates well with third party applications. Use of the software has made it easy for me to manage payrolls and maintain financial accuracy throughout the accounting processes. It has also enabled me to maintain error free financial records and streamline invoicing and bailing processes.

Cons

QuickBooks Enterprise pricing model is quite expensive compared to its competitors such as Sage Intacct and QuickBooks online.

### "Do Not Buy Quickbooks"

June 4, 2026

1.0

My overall experience with QuickBooks Enterprise has been disappointing. While the software offers a wide range of features, the reliability issues we encountered outweighed the benefits. Payment transactions did not always post correctly, leading to inaccurate financial data and requiring significant time to investigate and correct discrepancies. What was most frustrating was the lack of effective support. Despite multiple contacts with customer service and attempts to escalate the issues, we were unable to obtain a timely resolution. Communication was poor, follow-up was inconsistent, and even messages sent to executive-level contacts went unanswered. For a financial management platform, accuracy and support are critical. When you cannot fully trust your financial reports and cannot get meaningful assistance when problems arise, it becomes difficult to rely on the software for day-to-day business operations. Unfortunately, that has been our experience with QuickBooks Enterprise

Pros

I have used QuickBooks for years, but my recent experience has been extremely disappointing. The biggest issue is that payments are not posting correctly, creating unnecessary accounting headaches and forcing us to spend valuable time researching discrepancies that should never occur in financial software. When you rely on an accounting platform to provide accurate financial data, payment processing errors are simply unacceptable. What makes the situation even worse is the lack of customer support. Multiple attempts to resolve these issues through customer service resulted in little to no meaningful assistance. Escalations went nowhere, and even emails sent to the Office of the \[sensitive content hidden\] have gone unanswered. Imagine using financial software and being unable to confidently run financial reports because the underlying payment data cannot be trusted. The entire purpose of accounting software is to provide accurate financial information, yet that becomes impossible when transactions are not recorded properly. For a company that markets itself as a leader in accounting solutions, the lack of accountability and responsiveness is incredibly frustrating. Until these issues are addressed and customer support improves significantly, I cannot recommend QuickBooks to other businesses.

Cons

What I liked least about QuickBooks Enterprise was the reliability of its payment processing and the lack of effective customer support when issues arose. Payments were not consistently posting correctly, which created discrepancies in our financial records and made it difficult to trust the accuracy of financial reports. For accounting software, accurate financial data is essential, and these issues significantly impacted our operations. When we sought assistance, customer support was unable to provide a satisfactory resolution. Escalations were slow or nonexistent, and even emails sent to higher levels of management went unanswered. The combination of software issues and poor support made what should have been straightforward accounting tasks unnecessarily time-consuming and frustrating.

### "Powerful Accounting Control with a user Friendly Features"

May 28, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with QuickBooks Enterprise is that it’s a very capable, business-grade accounting system that excels in depth and control, but comes with a fair amount of complexity. On the positive side, it handles advanced accounting needs well—things like detailed reporting, inventory tracking, job costing, and multi-user collaboration are all built in and fairly robust. For businesses that have outgrown simpler tools, it provides a structured way to manage finances at scale without immediately needing a full ERP system. I also like its flexibility. You can customize reports, user permissions, and workflows to match specific business processes, which makes it adaptable across different industries and operational styles. That level of configurability is a big reason it’s used in more complex business environments. On the downside, it can feel heavy and not very intuitive for new users. The interface is dense, and the learning curve is real—especially for people without an accounting background. Performance and setup can also become more demanding as data grows or as more features are enabled. Overall, it feels like a “power tool” for accounting: extremely useful when you need its capabilities, but not something you’d choose for simplicity.

Pros

What stands out most about QuickBooks Enterprise is how powerful it is for handling complex, high-volume business accounting without forcing everything into workarounds. The biggest strength is its depth of features. It goes well beyond basic bookkeeping—supporting advanced inventory tracking, detailed job costing, customizable reporting, and multi-user workflows. That makes it especially useful for larger businesses that need more structure and control than standard accounting tools provide. I also like how configurable it is. You can tailor permissions by user role, build custom reports, and set up workflows that match how your business actually operates instead of adapting your process to the software. Another strong point is its scalability. As a company grows, the system can handle more transactions, users, and complexity without needing to switch platforms, which reduces disruption over time. Overall, its main advantage is that it brings enterprise-level accounting power into a familiar interface, giving businesses a lot of control over financial operations in one system.

Cons

What I like least about QuickBooks Enterprise is that its power comes with noticeable complexity and overhead. The interface can feel dense, especially for users who don’t work in accounting every day. Even common tasks sometimes require navigating multiple menus or understanding accounting-specific terminology, which adds a learning curve compared to simpler bookkeeping tools. It can also feel heavy in terms of system performance and setup. Larger company files, multiple users, and advanced features like inventory or reporting can slow things down or require careful configuration to run smoothly. Another drawback is cost. Compared to entry-level accounting tools, Enterprise is significantly more expensive, and some features that feel essential are locked into higher tiers or add-ons. Finally, while it’s highly customizable, that flexibility can become overwhelming—there are often many ways to do the same task, which can lead to inconsistent processes across a team if it’s not tightly managed. Overall, it’s very capable software, but it trades simplicity and ease of use for depth and control.

Reason for choosing QuickBooks Enterprise

I didn’t literally “choose” QuickBooks Enterprise over alternatives in a real-world sense, but based on the comparisons we discussed, the reasons it stands out against tools like Microsoft Outlook Calendar-style ecosystems don’t apply here—instead it’s more about accounting platforms such as mid-market bookkeeping or lighter accounting systems. Against those, the main reasons Enterprise tends to be preferred are: It offers much deeper accounting functionality than simpler tools. Features like advanced inventory management, job costing, detailed class tracking, and customizable financial reporting are built in, whereas many alternatives either don’t include them or require add-ons. It also scales better for complex businesses. As transaction volume, users, and reporting needs grow, Enterprise is designed to handle that complexity without forcing a migration to a completely different system too quickly. Another reason is control. You get a high degree of customization in the Chart of Accounts, permissions, reporting, and workflows, which is important for businesses with established processes that don’t want to adapt to rigid software structures. Finally, integration within its own ecosystem is strong. Payroll, invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, inventory, and reporting all connect directly to the same ledger, which reduces fragmentation.

My overall experience isn't good, i don't know if it is the lack of training or the fact I went from one software that had everything to a software that is stuck back in time.

Pros

I have really found anything i like yet about this product. Its hard to find what you want, the reports really arent tailored to what we need.

Cons

I dont like alot about it, it is out dated from other software and the reports option is terrible and trying to work your way around it is crazy.

### "QBE IS A good Value"

July 29, 2026

5.0

I would recommend enterprise any day. My first experience with it was several years ago and I loved it then. I transitioned my client to it a year ago. They are a contractor with 10+ employees. Although some seem to feel the monthly cost seems high, the fact that it includes a number of things, such as payroll, all things considered, it is a good deal.

Pros

Manage job costs by vendor, create estimates, track change orders, and analyze profitability with customizable job cost reports. You can track change orders Purchase orders and invoices.

Cons

Can be overwhelming if you are not familiar but they do offer courses on this topic so you can be more familiar with the topic.

### "Mixed bag for accounting"

July 11, 2026

4.0

Overall, I've had a positive experience with QuickBooks Enterprise. The software has been reliable and easy to navigate, allowing me to manage my company's finances efficiently. However, I've encountered some occasional glitches and limitations that prevent me from giving it a perfect score.

Pros

QuickBooks Enterprise is pretty solid for managing our company's finances. It's taken a bit to figure out, but once we got the hang of it, we've been using it regularly for about a year now.

Cons

One thing that's kind of annoying is that the reporting features can be a bit cluttered, making it hard to find what we need. We've had to take some extra time to learn how to use them effectively.

### "Quickbooks accounting software - best value for money"

July 8, 2026

5.0

It gives a very good value for money, very user friendly and is the best software for small enterprises

Pros

it is very user-friendly software. Does not need any specialized accounting knowledge. Reports are also easy to generate.

Cons

There are too many frequent updates. I don't like the A/R feature especially when multiple A/R accounts are opened. Also, the non profit version must be made separate and distinct to suit that industry.

### "Easy Payroll Experience with QuickBooks Enterprise"

My overall experience with QuickBooks Enterprise was good. It made receiving my salary straightforward and reliable, and everything was easy to use from an employee's perspective.

Pros

As an employee, getting my salary through QuickBooks Enterprise was easy and convenient. Payments were processed on time, and it was simple to access my pay information.

Cons

I didn't experience any major issues. The system worked well for my payroll needs. The interface can feel a bit outdated, and it may take some time for new users to become familiar with all of its features. Aside from that, I didn't experience any major issues.

### "Powerful Accounting Solutions"

October 7, 2025

5.0

Overall, QuickBooks Enterprise is a powerful system that offers most of what I need, especially in inventory management, customizable reports, and secure user permissions, all within a platform that’s very easy to navigate. However, the cost can be high for small businesses, and its limitations with multi-currency can be challenging for companies with international operations.

Pros

I liked QuickBooks Enterprise for its strong inventory management features, easy navigation, detailed reporting options, and the ability to set clear user permissions. I love that you can add files to PO so the supplier isnt left wondering about the PO.

Cons

QuickBooks Enterprise doesn’t handle multi-currency as smoothly as global businesses need. I also think it is too expensive for small businesses.

### "Great system for medium sized company."

July 16, 2025

4.0

I started using it and had the majority understood and learned within a month. I run some pretty massive reports and i am very satisfied with the speed and filters.

Pros

This software is very easy to use. The reports are great, and it is pretty quick to learn and save your own reports. Enterpise also has much more tags you can attach to each transaction that can be reported on.

Cons

Trying to get a hold of customer service can be difficult. When doung the annual update often you get locked out and need their support. Also when trying to provide new contacts they make you have to jump through hoops, even when the owner calls them to make the request. It would also be better if their were better search features on the autit report.

### "Serious Software for Serious Business"

February 12, 2026

4.0

If you’ve outgrown beginner software, this makes sense. If you haven’t, it’s overkill. It’s not cute. It’s not trendy. For serious business, it's got everything in one place, and once learned it's a timesaver.

Pros

It’s strong. If you’re running a real business with layers, inventory, reports, multiple users — it can handle it. The reporting is solid and you can actually see what’s happening inside your company. Once it’s set up correctly, it does the job without drama.

Cons

It’s expensive. And it’s not intuitive at first. You don’t “casually” use Enterprise — you commit to it. And we were billed for a product we didn't purchase and had to deal with that.

### "Powerful and Reliable Accounting Software for Growing Businesses"

March 4, 2026

5.0

Overall, QuickBooks Enterprise is a powerful accounting solution that works well for growing mid-sized businesses that need more than basic bookkeeping. It requires proper setup and training to maximize its capabilities, but once implemented correctly, it becomes a reliable system for financial management, reporting, payroll, and inventory. While it’s not the most modern platform visually, it is dependable and comprehensive.

Pros

QuickBooks Enterprise is very robust and customizable. I like the advanced reporting capabilities, especially the ability to tailor reports to specific departments or job costing needs. The inventory management features are strong compared to other QuickBooks versions, and the user permissions allow for better internal controls. It integrates well with third-party apps, and once set up properly, it handles large volumes of transactions efficiently.

Cons

The biggest downside is the cost, especially with annual subscription increases. It can also feel overwhelming for new users due to its complexity, and the interface looks somewhat outdated compared to newer cloud-based platforms. Performance can slow down with large company files, and remote access requires additional setup or hosting services.

### "Strong SME finance platform with solid controls, but aging interface"

April 30, 2026

4.0

Pros

What I liked most about QuickBooks Enterprise is the balance between robust accounting capabilities and practical day-to-day usability. In practice, it helps centralize accounting, receivables, payables, payroll inputs, and inventory in one environment. For example, finance teams gain faster month-end visibility and stronger operational control than with fragmented systems.

Cons

What I liked least about QuickBooks Enterprise is that it can feel dated compared with newer cloud-native platforms. Some customization, remote access, or integrations may require extra setup. It is powerful, but not always the most modern user experience.

### "Efficiency Game Changer! "

November 10, 2025

5.0

If you're a product-based business with rapid growth, QuickBooks Enterprise is a great investment. It’s an ll-in-one solution that integrates with your company’s accounting. It’s scalable and genuinely makes complex inventory management manageable. The initial setup does take some effort. But the control and efficiency you gain once thats done are absolutely worth it. I couldn't even imagine handling high-volume and complex inventory without it.

Pros

The level of detail you get is its strongest suit. The Bin Location Tracking is one of the best features giving the ability to know exactly which shelf an item is on drastically cuts down picking time. Serial and Lot Number Tracking is invaluable in my opinion. It gives you the ability to instantly see who bought what. The Barcode scanner is also an amazing feature. It’s fast, accurate, and saves hours of manual data entry. I also love having a single fulfillment dashboard screen that displays every order in its current stage—from "ready to pick" to "shipped." It makes managing the entire shipping pipeline a breeze. Another reason i love quickbooks enterprise is the ability to factor in shipping fees, duties, and insurance into the actual cost of a product. Ensuring profit margins are accurate to a T no guesswork. Pulling up detailed "Inventory Valuation Summaries" and customizing them to see exactly what are winners and what are taking up shelf space.

Cons

The per user pricing is quite expensive considering the upfront starting costs. The annual subscription cost is high it should be a one time purchase or reduced. The annual subscription cost has also increased significantly throughout the years .

### "An Accountant's Take on QuickBooks Enterprise"

July 17, 2025

4.0

Starting with this company, QuickBooks Enterprise was a new experience for me, yet I found it remarkably scalable. It's built on that familiar QuickBooks feel, making it pretty easy to get around. I've found it effective for handling our higher transaction volumes and tailoring reports to our needs. Overall, it's proven a reliable backbone for our financial work, despite a few minor data reconciliation quirks.

Pros

Its scalability is a major advantage, handling more users and transactions efficiently. Advanced inventory and job costing provide deeper financial insights. The comprehensive reporting and customizable multi-user permissions are excellent for collaboration and control.

Cons

We've experienced occasional performance slowdowns with large reports or high user activity. Integration with some third-party apps can be complex. Infrequent backup failures require manual verification, posing a slight data security concern.

### "Excellent accounting software but not cheap"

September 20, 2018

4.0

I raise repeating sales invoices to my clients and when the payment comes in through the bank, I match the payments to the sales invoice making my bookkeeping logical and easy. When I spend money, I tell QB in plain English what it was for and QB posts it into my accounts. Easy and efficient.

Pros

Quickbooks is relatively easy to use if you are even a little computer or finance literate. It makes bookkeeping very easy by pulling in your bank transactions and allowing you to match these to sales and purchase invoices that you have created. It allows you to create and send very professional looking sales invoices to customers. There are a whole heap of features that you may never use.

Cons

Maybe a little too many features for the average or more basic users. This can leave new users feeling a little overwhelmed. There are several banks that don't yet link in (Tide, Starling etc). It's not cheap and it's forever on promotion (like Stella), customers see through this.

That's why our goal is to streamline invoicing, bookkeeping, and other daily tasks by means of our software. ### "Quickbooks is easy for my small business"

February 19, 2026

QuickBooks is pretty intuitive as far as bookkeeping. Many of the things are automated and I don't think you need accounting experience to do it yourself.

Pros

I like how it syncs with my business checking and credit cards and automatically uploads all of my transactions. Additionally it tracks all of my vendors so its very simply to create and send 1099s at the end of the year.

Cons

Sometimes it labels certain purchases as the wrong thing and I have to manually login and make sure every transaction is labeled correctly.

My overall experience with QuickBooks Enterprise is a love hate relationship. I loved it because it was easy to use and to train others, but it's limit capabilities was difficult for a small company that grew into a medium size company.

Pros

The inventory system is easy to use. We spent less time on training new employees because it was so user friendly and intuitive. I recently left the company where i used QB's Enterprise inventory and went to a new office that uses and ERP . The ERP isn't intuitive for staff and take a lot longer to learn how to use it.

Cons

It didn't have the capabilities of an ERP software that you can customize to your own specifications. It is good for a smaller company.

Overall I have had a very positive experience with Quickbooks enterprise being able to overhaul my stock management system.

Pros

The aspect I liked most about Quickbooks enterprise is the enhanced features on the base edition. The improved stock management system and similar navigation to the desktop edition makes this accounting system very easy to use and great value for money.

Cons

Similar to the other editions of Quickbooks, the accounting systems take a large amount of learning to become truly effective.

### "QuickBooks Enterprise"

July 29, 2025

4.0

In general, I really do like QuickBooks. It is a soft posting system, meaning data can be changed at will. Many accounting professionals like that, but many do not as data could change after closing a period. The user interfaces are easy to learn and all the modules have a similar appearance and usability.

Pros

QuickBooks Enterprise is a very large program with the capability to support multiple lists and items. For someone who would like to utilize historical data across the platform, it is excellent. The interface of the program acts like many other software products and is not "accountant-ease" but rather English based so seems more logical for a user who is not familiar with accounting software. Invoicing, receiving payments and managing inventory are are very good in the software.

Cons

QuickBooks Enterprise is not without it's problems. As lists grow the speed of the system will become slower. Customer Service is also sometimes a problems. I am a former Pro-Advisor for Intuit and remember a time when their Customer Service was outstanding. In prior years, we used to have a dedicated representative that would follow the problem until it was resolved. Today, the outsourcing of service has made that impossible which makes it difficult if not cumbersome to work a problem through to resolution without needing to explain everything over. Also, at one time you could purchase the software outright. Today it is subscription based per year. The rising cost of the subscription is becoming prohibitive on an annual basis.

I am the sole accountant of a non-profit and I use Quickbooks for everything - payables, donations, payroll.

Pros

It is very easy to use. I love the "memorized reports" feature, which is not available with Quickbooks online.

Cons

It is getting more and more expensive every year. Entities like Tech Soup, which helps non profits, no longer offer it as an option.

Overall, my experience with QuickBooks Enterprise was positive. It offers powerful accounting, reporting, and inventory management features that support growing businesses, though the interface can be complex and may require time to learn effectively.

Pros

Its robust reporting, advanced inventory management, and ability to handle complex business needs. it is amazing.

Cons

The software can sometimes feel complex, with a steep learning curve and occasional performance slowdowns.
