### "Great Accounting Software"

August 10, 2025

5.0

One of my best accounting software I have used being very user-friendly. Technical support was also solid ... once you got to the correct department.

Pros

I liked the fact that it just worked without bugs. That said, it is on the user to ensure it is set up correctly and that all the features are taken advantage of for the best user experience.

Cons

It is pricey for the accounting software and there is an additional substantial charge for the payroll module.

Reason for choosing QuickBooks Enterprise

### "Strong SME finance platform with solid controls, but aging interface"

April 30, 2026

4.0

Pros

What I liked most about QuickBooks Enterprise is the balance between robust accounting capabilities and practical day-to-day usability. In practice, it helps centralize accounting, receivables, payables, payroll inputs, and inventory in one environment. For example, finance teams gain faster month-end visibility and stronger operational control than with fragmented systems.

Cons

What I liked least about QuickBooks Enterprise is that it can feel dated compared with newer cloud-native platforms. Some customization, remote access, or integrations may require extra setup. It is powerful, but not always the most modern user experience.

### "Other options out there"

October 21, 2025

2.0

I used it for many years. The cost of maintaining support after a number of years is a huge negative as was trying to re-up and get it turned back on.

Pros

There is a lot of support via YouTube videos. It is clear there are many more seats of QuickBooks that with any other competitor. There is a lot of familiarity with QuickBooks within the CPA and banking community.

Cons

Too early of a cutoff with support after purchasing a very expensive software package for small business. The push later to go to the online version is an extreme negative as well. It is clear the QuickBooks management it pushing that narrative.

### "Powerful accounting, invoicing, and payroll solutions! "

April 13, 2026

5.0

Overall, I have been very pleased with the amount of features it offers. It accomplishes standard business accounting!

Pros

QuickBooks Enterprise is a very powerful accounting tool. While the enterprise version isn't for everyone...it definitely checks all the boxes. It has very detailed invoicing, invoice management, transaction tracking, and fee tracking capabilities. It has the ability to integrate into a ton of different services for seamless billing and customer management. In addition to that, it has the ability to track payroll and act as a basic HRIS system. It often comes with a high level of customer support that covers just about every feature you can think of.

Cons

It is a beast of a tool and often requires a good bit of configuration. Depending on what level of integration you want, it may require consulting a third party.

### "Efficient and Robust Financial Management System"

June 2, 2026

5.0

Overall, our experience with QuickBooks Enterprise has been very positive. It is a powerful and reliable accounting solution that supports the needs of a growing business. The system provides strong reporting capabilities, efficient financial tracking, and helpful tools for managing inventory and users. While there is a learning curve at the beginning, it becomes much easier to use over time and proves to be a valuable platform for managing day-to-day financial operations.

Pros

What I like most about QuickBooks Enterprise is its robust and scalable accounting capabilities. It allows us to manage complex financial data, multiple users, and detailed reporting with ease. The customizable reports provide valuable insights into our business performance, and the inventory management tools are especially helpful for keeping track of stock accurately. Overall, it is a powerful and reliable system that supports the needs of a growing business.

Cons

One of the main challenges with QuickBooks Enterprise is that it can feel complex at times, especially for new users. The learning curve is a bit steep due to the number of features and customization options available. Additionally, some advanced functions require additional setup or training to use effectively. However, once the system is properly configured, it becomes much easier to manage day-to-day accounting tasks.

### "Good for keeping an index of facility maintenance contracts."

May 26, 2026

4.0

Performs reasonably for our facility management duties. It is expensive, but the high and advanced inventory tracking to see how cleaning supplies get used across warehouses is required. Secure on desktop, mobile needs development. Recommends for those who have 20+ client contracts.

Pros

The job costing attribute enables me to monitor costs per work location crucial with several of our buildings. Recurring Invoices can save time when it comes to monthly maintenance contracts. Reporting DISPLAYS properties that make money. Because they can integrate with our time tracking app, there's less manual data entry for technician time.

Cons

When taking receipt snapshots at job sites, mobile application crashes. Invoices are not consecutive, sometimes there are gaps, which creates confusion in our financial accounting. Tickets are answered in 2-3 days by tech support.

### "Ease of Use"

May 11, 2026

5.0

Overall experience is positive. Like I said easy to navigate and speculate if you don’t know what you are doing.

Pros

I like the simplicity of the software. It is easy to navigate and quickly learn how to site works even if you are new to computers.

Cons

I think what I like least is maybe not even necessarily quickbooks fault, but it is difficult to print checks and know exactly how to place them in the printer in order to get them to print correctly. And then if you don’t print it correctly, it can sometimes be difficult to reprint it. Also you sometimes print them in the wrong order so then you have to go and reassign check numbers.

My overall experience with QuickBooks Enterprise has been very positive. It handles accounting, invoicing, and reports efficiently, making daily work much easier. Overall, it’s a reliable and powerful tool for managing business finances.

Pros

What I liked most about QuickBooks Enterprise is how powerful yet practical it feels for managing business finances. It offers strong value for money considering the advanced tools it provides. It really helps with time saving, especially in tracking and reporting tasks. While there can be minor bugs, the customer support is helpful and resolves issues efficiently.

Cons

May 1, 2026

Keeping track of accounts payable and receivable was very smooth with this program. Sending out invoices to clients was easy and helpful and allowed me to provided clear instructions for the clients on how they could pay their bill.

Pros

It helped me keep track of all company expenses incoming & outgoing. I also created & provide quotes easily and efficiently for my bosses clients. It was easy to input information and even saved some of my key statements that I could reuse on emails making my input faster.

Cons

### "The Most Functional Program"

January 13, 2026

5.0

I have been using this platform for many years, and regardless of who I am doing bookkeeping for, I consistently recommend QuickBooks over its competitors. The system is incredibly simple to use while still offering all the functionality needed for accurate and efficient bookkeeping. Its reliability and ease of navigation make it a dependable choice for businesses of all sizes.

Pros

QuickBooks provides an efficient way for us to store records, pay bills, enter invoices, and send bulk emails to vendors when needed. The platform is very user-friendly, with no pop-ups or distracting ads. Its annual fee is minimal compared to other bookkeeping platforms, making it a great fit for our budget. Additionally, whenever issues arise, the QuickBooks support team offers helpful answers and resources directly on their website.

Cons

I do not like the constant push to move to QuickBooks Online. I prefer the desktop version because it is simple and consistent, with each update making minimal changes. The online version relies heavily on internet connectivity and computer performance, which can introduce unnecessary complications and occasional disruptions.

### "Powerful and Reliable Accounting Software for Growing Businesses"

March 4, 2026

5.0

Overall, QuickBooks Enterprise is a powerful accounting solution that works well for growing mid-sized businesses that need more than basic bookkeeping. It requires proper setup and training to maximize its capabilities, but once implemented correctly, it becomes a reliable system for financial management, reporting, payroll, and inventory. While it’s not the most modern platform visually, it is dependable and comprehensive.

Pros

QuickBooks Enterprise is very robust and customizable. I like the advanced reporting capabilities, especially the ability to tailor reports to specific departments or job costing needs. The inventory management features are strong compared to other QuickBooks versions, and the user permissions allow for better internal controls. It integrates well with third-party apps, and once set up properly, it handles large volumes of transactions efficiently.

Cons

The biggest downside is the cost, especially with annual subscription increases. It can also feel overwhelming for new users due to its complexity, and the interface looks somewhat outdated compared to newer cloud-based platforms. Performance can slow down with large company files, and remote access requires additional setup or hosting services.

### "A Reliable and Feature-Rich Accounting System for Growing Businesses"

July 16, 2025

4.0

QuickBooks Enterprise is a strong and reliable ERP-level solution for accounting, inventory, payroll, and reporting - especially suited for growing businesses who have outgrown basic versions of QuickBooks. It has helped streamline financial workflows and centralize accounting processes with great visibility. While it lacks some modern cloud-native flexibility, it offers rich features for industries like manufacturing, retail, and distribution. I’ve used it in multiple mid-sized businesses and found it to be robust, scalable, and relatively easy to train staff on. That said, for businesses needing more automation, real-time multi-location access, or extensive workflow control - a cloud ERP may offer more.

Pros

Powerful financial reporting tools with built-in templates and customization User-friendly interface that's easy to navigate even for non-accountants Advanced inventory management (especially with Platinum and Diamond editions) Multi-user access & role-based permissions ideal for medium-sized businesses Seamless integration with payroll, payments, and time-tracking tools

Cons

The desktop-based architecture feels outdated compared to modern cloud ERP systems Integration with non-Intuit third-party tools is limited and sometimes buggy Customization options are not as flexible as cloud-based ERPs like Odoo or NetSuite Performance may lag with large data files or when accessed over network

### "Love efficiency and management with ease... go to quickbooks enterprise!"

April 9, 2026

5.0

Love it! Will always be a user. Even started using it in another business we have. When using it I feel more productive and have a stronger pulse on the business activities

Pros

The ability to fully run our business without extra systems needed. Our cpa loves that we use it as well. Very efficient with Invoice Management, and full Transaction Management- from start to finish.

Cons

All the AI pop ups and trying to do more than I need. Wish there was a few more options with reconciliations and undoing them in mass not one by one.

### "Accounting Manager"

November 14, 2025

4.0

My overall experience with QuickBooks Enterprise is a love hate relationship. I loved it because it was easy to use and to train others, but it's limit capabilities was difficult for a small company that grew into a medium size company.

Pros

The inventory system is easy to use. We spent less time on training new employees because it was so user friendly and intuitive. I recently left the company where i used QB's Enterprise inventory and went to a new office that uses and ERP . The ERP isn't intuitive for staff and take a lot longer to learn how to use it.

Cons

It didn't have the capabilities of an ERP software that you can customize to your own specifications. It is good for a smaller company.

### "Quickbooks Enterprise to the Rescue"

March 27, 2026

5.0

Overall, I am very happy with managing invoicing and customers through QuickBooks Enterprise. I am able to create, send, and follow up on balances with customers in one place and quickly. Allocating funds and keeping track of the available budget is also easy with updated accounts.

Pros

Easy to use as a platform to communicate with my accounting team for bookkeeping and questions. Lots of value for the price because it includes invoicing, receiving payments, and tracking balances. Customer support is excellent and responds quickly. Have been using it for over 3 years with minimal bugs - mostly poor connection with external linked accounts. Really helps my invoice management.

Cons

Categories are not the most intuitive, especially if subcategories are hidden or foreign to someone not experienced in payroll / finances.

Pros

Cons

### "Quickbooks Enterprise Review"

April 18, 2026

5.0

Overall I have had a very positive experience with Quickbooks enterprise being able to overhaul my stock management system.

Pros

The aspect I liked most about Quickbooks enterprise is the enhanced features on the base edition. The improved stock management system and similar navigation to the desktop edition makes this accounting system very easy to use and great value for money.

Cons

Similar to the other editions of Quickbooks, the accounting systems take a large amount of learning to become truly effective.

### "Awful Support and Trial System"

April 23, 2026

1.0

Be extremely careful with their trials. The person on their customer support line told me incorrect information which basically wasted my entire trial. I signed up for the quickbooks live trial did not realize that there would be no availability for appointments. At the advice of their support team, I signed up for an appointment in the future, but when it came time for the appointment, they canceled on me because my trial was over. Ridicules to offer a trial that does not even provide access to the service that is being trial. Upon talking with their support later, they said they are unable to reinstate my trial. In general support calls with Quickbooks are frustrating, as they will keep transferring me to different departments and it takes hours to solve a simple problem.

Pros

Right now, I am extremely frustrated with Quickbooks, so I cannot think of a lot of pros. Maybe the number of integrations.

Cons

Their support and rigidity of their systems. Extremely inflexible and inefficient even when it makes Zero sense to be.

### "Still the best accounting software"

March 27, 2025

5.0

It's still the best and most used accounting software for small to medium sized businesses out there. The design, engineering, and functionality can't be beat.

Pros

QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise offers a significant performance advantage over QuickBooks Online. Its speed and efficiency are critical to my workflow. I have relied on QuickBooks Desktop since the 1990s and it has consistently met my business needs. The comprehensive functionality of QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise supports essential accounting processes, including payroll management, credit card processing, bank transaction downloads, multi-company file management, employee access to pay stubs and W-2s, budgeting, forecasting, and payroll tax payments. The ability to simultaneously manage multiple company files is particularly valuable, and I would welcome future enhancements that increase this capacity. The current disparity in processing time between QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise and QuickBooks Online is substantial; tasks completed in one hour within the desktop environment require approximately four hours in the online version. A mandated transition to QuickBooks Online would severely impact my productivity and potentially necessitate a reevaluation of my career path. In summary, QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise remains a superior solution for my accounting needs. Its robust feature set and performance are unmatched, and any transition to a less efficient platform would be detrimental."

Cons

QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise exhibits a persistent limitation when processing bulk form transmissions. Specifically, the system consistently generates errors when attempting to send more than 120 forms concurrently. For organizations with high-volume invoicing, such as ours, this translates to a significant operational inefficiency. For example, processing 400 invoices necessitates sending the initial 125, followed by manually queuing the remaining 275 invoices via the 'Send Later' function. This requires 275 individual mouse clicks, representing a substantial time investment. This issue has persisted for an extended period, spanning approximately two decades, without resolution. Furthermore, the current pricing structure of QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise presents a substantial financial burden. The discontinuation of QuickBooks Pro, previously available at a more accessible price point (approximately $199), and the mandatory adoption of the Enterprise subscription model have resulted in a significant cost increase. In 2024, our five-user license cost $4,579. Transitioning to a single-user license in 2025 resulted in a cost of $1,711. Compounding this, the shift from perpetual licenses to annual subscriptions has drastically increased the total cost of ownership. A software investment that previously yielded a multi-year lifespan now necessitates annual renewals, effectively increasing the five-year expenditure from the original $1,700 to $8,500. This pricing model represents a considerable financial commitment and warrants reevaluation.

### "Powerful Accounting That Grows With Your Business"

December 19, 2025

5.0

Overall, my experience with QuickBooks Enterprise has been positive. It’s a reliable, robust system that handles complex accounting needs well, especially as a business grows, while still being fairly easy to navigate once you’re familiar with it.

Pros

I liked how powerful it is while still feeling familiar. The advanced inventory and reporting tools are especially helpful, and it scales really well as a business grows without feeling overly complicated.

Cons

The only downside I have run into is just not being able to customize print settings enough to my liking.

### "Accountant's Opinion on QuickBooks Enterprise"

June 10, 2025

4.0

I recently started with this company, and this was my first time using QuickBooks Enterprise (or any QuickBooks program). It has been very easy getting to know where everything was, how to run a report, etc. There's been very small hiccups (maybe since it's an old program) but it has overall been good to us. We recently switched over to QBO and that transition went pretty smooth too.

Pros

Since this was my first QuickBooks experience, it was very easy getting to know the program and understand where everything was located. I liked how the dashboard looked, how easy it was to write checks, make a deposit, etc. Everything in the program was user-friendly and a good resource for our company for a while.

Cons

We've had a couple minor bad experiences with the program. For example, we put in a journal entry and when we did financial reports, it was there and accounted for, you could see it, etc. but the following week, we did the same report and the journal entry was nowhere to be found, we were confused why our financials were suddenly not matching. After that, the journal entry came back so it was just back and forth wondering if the entry would be accounted for in the financials or not. Otherwise, we haven't had too many bad experiences with the program.

### "Quickbooks Review"

April 29, 2026

4.0

Overall, my experience with Intuit QuickBooks has been positive. It is a reliable and professional tool for managing business finances, staying organized, and preparing for tax time. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a more efficient way to handle bookkeeping and financial tracking.

Pros

Intuit QuickBooks has been a very helpful accounting platform overall. I like that it makes it easier to organize business finances, track income and expenses, send invoices, and keep financial records in one place. The dashboard is fairly easy to navigate, and it gives a clear overview of cash flow, outstanding invoices, expenses, and overall business performance. One of the biggest pros is that QuickBooks saves time with bookkeeping. It can connect to bank accounts, categorize transactions, generate reports, and make invoicing more professional. It is especially useful for small business owners, freelancers, and service providers who want to stay organized without manually tracking everything.

Cons

Some cons are that it can feel a little overwhelming at first, especially if you are not familiar with accounting terms or bookkeeping systems. Some features may take time to learn, and the cost can add up depending on the plan and any extra services you need.
