It’s secure, reliable, and makes managing our finances much easier. The dashboard gives me a clear view of all our accounts, and uploading receipts is quick and convenient. While there’s a bit of a learning curve with searching for past receipts, the benefits far outweigh the drawbacks. It has streamlined our bookkeeping and helps keep everything organized, which is a huge time saver. Pros I like how secure it is and how easy it is to upload receipts, whether by taking pictures or scanning. I also appreciate the dashboard, which gives me a clear overview of all our accounts in one place. Cons While QuickBooks Enterprise is very efficient at uploading receipts, I find it a bit frustrating when I need to locate a specific receipt that’s already been uploaded. The search function isn’t as intuitive or fast as I would like, especially when dealing with a large number of transactions. It makes life easier to write checks and keep up with receipts, payments and more! We love in the invoivcing aspect. Pros The ease to write checks to someone! Love the fact you can fill out checks including check number and send them out. Invoicing has never been easier!! Cons The learning curve is AWFUL! It took me quite a long time. You have to purchase it then pay a monthly fee. But there are other software programs that are much more expensive. Pros What I liked the most about QuickBooks Enterprise is you could use it with more employees with also restricting certain access to certain files. It also made inventory tracking a little more precise. Cons What I'd like the least about QuickBooks Enterprise is it cost more, a little harder to set up and it's mostly Windows base so if somebody has Max or Mac notebooks it's not as easy you'd have to do some sort of cloud. December 16, 2024 5.0 We used Quickbooks Enterprise in a company with 13 employees of which 7 were using the program. We have $150 million in annual revenues and deal with 5 customers, about 40 vendors and work with multiple inventory sites. QE was able to keep up with the number of transactions but was limited in its ability to sync with our customer's EDI software. Pros QuickBooks is known for being intuitive for a reason - it's checkbook style interface makes the user feel comfortable and familiar with the transaction process. In addition, the ability to edit previously entered transactions (with some limitations) gives the user confidence that they are not risking making an irreversible entry or at least a complex un-winding process. The reporting function supplies almost any type of report you can think of with the ability to customize the "out-of-the-box" reports. Comparative financials for year-to-date are easily done (something that NetSuite doesn't do without manipulating the report date ranges manually). The subscription costs are by seat and represent one of the best values in the accounting software universe. Cons My biggest problem with QuickBooks in the inability to separate the receipt and billing of inventory. One replaces the other depending on the order of events. So if you want to keep your AP aging true, then you are either going to need to change your date of receipt from the actual to the billing date which can create problems when reconciling inventory, or you will need to manually change the due date. If you are dealing with multiple related entities (subsidiaries, companies, etc.) and you want financials to be specific to that entity you will most likely need to use separate company files. The user is limited to having two company files open simultaneously and any inter-company transactions will need to be duplicated in both company files. Review Source PL Payton L. Anytime we have had major issues with QB, the customer service department has been helpful in resolving them. Pros We love that Quickbooks has everything we need for all of the accounting purposes for a business our size. Cons We wish that the online version of QuickBooks functioned more like the desktop version. It would be helpful to offer hybrid positions, but our team is integrated in the desktop version of QB. Cons File transfer and access can be a little time consuming, especially with licensing requirements.
