One of my best accounting software I have used being very user-friendly. Technical support was also solid ... once you got to the correct department.

Pros

I liked the fact that it just worked without bugs. That said, it is on the user to ensure it is set up correctly and that all the features are taken advantage of for the best user experience.

Cons

It is pricey for the accounting software and there is an additional substantial charge for the payroll module.

### "Quickbooks is easy for my small business"

QuickBooks is pretty intuitive as far as bookkeeping. Many of the things are automated and I don't think you need accounting experience to do it yourself.

Pros

I like how it syncs with my business checking and credit cards and automatically uploads all of my transactions. Additionally it tracks all of my vendors so its very simply to create and send 1099s at the end of the year.

Cons

Sometimes it labels certain purchases as the wrong thing and I have to manually login and make sure every transaction is labeled correctly.

I used it for many years. The cost of maintaining support after a number of years is a huge negative as was trying to re-up and get it turned back on.

Pros

There is a lot of support via YouTube videos. It is clear there are many more seats of QuickBooks that with any other competitor. There is a lot of familiarity with QuickBooks within the CPA and banking community.

Cons

Too early of a cutoff with support after purchasing a very expensive software package for small business. The push later to go to the online version is an extreme negative as well. It is clear the QuickBooks management it pushing that narrative.

Overall experience was very good. We used it for payroll, invoicing and inventory. I learned and applied the necessary subcategories for each use with ease.

Pros

It was reasonably priced and the options for invoicing were adequate for the needs of the company. Customer support was always very helpful.

Cons

It was disappointing with certain limitations in formatting of an invoice template did not allow more options.

Overall it has helped out business tremendously by keeping track of everything from payroll to job history. It was a bit of a learning curve at first, but once the program is understood, it is very easy to navigate.

Pros

I absolutely love QuickBooks, it is so easy to navigate. I like how it keeps track of all the data from invoices to customers and employees. This program has been a life saver to our little business.

Cons

I don’t really have a negative to say besides when calling customer service support you can plan to be o the phone for a bit.

overall it’s a really helpful tool for staying organised. I like that everything is in one place. I.e invoices, expenses, and bank transactions which saves a lot of time. The layout is clear and straightforward, even if you’re not an expert in accounting.

Pros

QuickBooks is really easy to use and makes keeping on top of finances much easier for me an my business

Cons

The only downside is that some features can feel a bit limited unless you upgrade to a more expensive plan

least liked: It is general software. If it is made specific like say only construction focused or other field focus, it would have been easy to use.

Pros

QuickBooks is easy to learn and use. I was able to pull financial reports for our clients quickly and efficiently.

Cons

File transfer and access can be a little time consuming, especially with licensing requirements. Our company had a shared VPN that we could check out, and clients typically sent us files that had to be loaded into the VPN only.

Given the years i have used QuickBooks and also as a certified Pro advisor, i have had a very good interface making it easy for me to ably promote to any potential user as well as onboard any potential client.

Pros

1\. It user friendly. 2. It is affordable to any new client. 3. Account managers are always readily available to support.

Cons

1\. The pricing strategy where different countries pay in different currencies as compared to having a uniform currency cutting across countries. 2. The browser tends to freeze at times. 3. The availability of information on a mobile device puts the confidentiality of the entity at risk incase of theft of the device.

Starting with this company, QuickBooks Enterprise was a new experience for me, yet I found it remarkably scalable. It's built on that familiar QuickBooks feel, making it pretty easy to get around. I've found it effective for handling our higher transaction volumes and tailoring reports to our needs. Overall, it's proven a reliable backbone for our financial work, despite a few minor data reconciliation quirks.

Pros

Its scalability is a major advantage, handling more users and transactions efficiently. Advanced inventory and job costing provide deeper financial insights. The comprehensive reporting and customizable multi-user permissions are excellent for collaboration and control.

Cons

We've experienced occasional performance slowdowns with large reports or high user activity. Integration with some third-party apps can be complex. Infrequent backup failures require manual verification, posing a slight data security concern.

We have had a good experience. It has definitely made invoice management easier for us. We switched from creating our own invoices on a template in word and mailing them out, to Quickbooks. It has streamlined our billing process. I like all the reports you can generate and how the dashboard gives us a good look at everything - Bank accounts, credit cards, etc. It's a one stop shop.

Pros

Quickbooks really does what you need it to do. It is relatively easy to use (if you're OK with technology). It saves us SO much time. We do all our invoicing through QB. Their customer support is OK, but it is a good program at a good price. When there are bugs, they seem to be resolved quickly.

Cons

I have noticed that they do a lot of updates. The most recent one changed everything around, which is fine, but I know some people have a hard time finding things. I also feel like they don't have enough information online, or it is really out of date. I feel like some customer service representatives don't understand the program.

My overall experience with QuickBooks Enterprise is a love hate relationship. I loved it because it was easy to use and to train others, but it's limit capabilities was difficult for a small company that grew into a medium size company.

Pros

The inventory system is easy to use. We spent less time on training new employees because it was so user friendly and intuitive. I recently left the company where i used QB's Enterprise inventory and went to a new office that uses and ERP . The ERP isn't intuitive for staff and take a lot longer to learn how to use it.

Cons

It didn't have the capabilities of an ERP software that you can customize to your own specifications. It is good for a smaller company.

An expensive monthly nightmare! Intuit, has ruined this service, with their greed. My overall experience with Intuit QuickBooks program after 30 years is time to move on.

Pros

Intuit QuickBooks Enterprise, not muck too like! The reporting is okay, that's about it. QuickBooks, used to be a worth while program years ago.

Cons

Intuit QuickBooks Enterprise online is worthless. A high monthly subscription for a very slow compromised service. It takes an unusual long time to save information. Saving payroll takes even longer, about 6 minutes. Backing up overall info take an unusual amount of time as well. We pay Intuit 300 dollars a month, for this junk. I would be looking into Patriot or some alternative service. Intuit QuickBooks, not what it used to be! From what I understand many accountants are ditching program after closing out balance sheet at years end.

Great and easy to use for our small companies. However, QuickBooks is not best suited for our larger companies due to high volume of data and the need for high quality reporting.

Pros

It’s easy to use and has the basic necessity features. It’s great for small companies who don’t have too much accounting data.

Cons

I would not suggest quickbooks for a large company. Hence the name, it’s “quick books”. It has basic accounting features but does not have very many reporting tools. More financial reports or analytics would be helpful.

Cons

Trying to get assistance with online support can be challenging in peak periods. This is frustration when you have a deadline.

Pros

Quickbooks is a powerful accounting tool for smaller businesses! I have been using it for 10+ years and it is super simple to use. It makes invoice management super easy and saves a ton of time! It is fairly affordable compared to some other programs out there. They are very quick to fix and issues with the program.

Cons

There are sometimes bugs and it crashes. Also, their customer support sometimes is not the most knowledgeable.

Like all things new you just have to get used to them. So it did take me bit of time getting through some of it in getting it set up for my needs

Pros

I like how secure it is and how easy it is to upload receipts, whether by taking pictures or scanning. I also appreciate the dashboard, which gives me a clear overview of all our accounts in one place.

Cons

While QuickBooks Enterprise is very efficient at uploading receipts, I find it a bit frustrating when I need to locate a specific receipt that’s already been uploaded. The search function isn’t as intuitive or fast as I would like, especially when dealing with a large number of transactions. It sometimes takes extra time to filter through categories or dates to find exactly what I need, which can slow down bookkeeping tasks.
