Pros

What I like most about using Figma is it's integration abilities. Figma proved quite a useful tool when designing out website.

Cons

At first, the tool can be quite overwhelming for a new user. Many new buttons, icons, and features to discover but you will manage.

It is a fantastic tool for UI design boards and protyping work and really helps in simplifying wireframes and similar data to share with developers.

Pros

It is definitely a great tool which makes your life easy if you want to collaborate with multiple people with different set of goals like customer or testers.

Cons

The learning curve is quite deep if your are trying to figure the prototype settings and all. Also it lag and slow down when working on project with lot of artboards and heavy iamges.

I've used Figma from the web developer's side, translating the design into code to bring the application to life. It's extremely useful for us, allowing us to replicate the design exactly, with precise measurements, colors, effects, and other details that were chosen for a specific reason during the prototype design

Pros

It's a very good design tool, mainly focused on UI/UX design. One standout feature is its real-time collaboration with other team members on the project, it's ideal for teamwork or simply for sharing the design entirely online, making it easily accessible to anyone who needs it. It also offers a presentation mode for the design, showing what the client-facing view would look like, with the possibility of interaction if it was designed that way, for example, buttons, redirects to other designs, effects, and so on. It includes several "frame" options, such as computer screens and various phone screen models, to specifically adapt designs to different devices. Its components are reusable. Overall, it's an excellent tool for prototyping app designs, whether for web or mobile, including designs, actions, effects, and page redirects, making it possible to replicate the full functionality the app is meant to have. It has a simple interface that isn't too cluttered, making it easy to navigate. That said, it does require a learning curve when it comes to its tools, features, and design concepts.

Cons

There's a paid plan required when you want to share a project with other users who need access to specific design details, for example, developers who need exact measurements or color codes to build the app through programming. Since everything is hosted in the cloud, file security can potentially be compromised, so you might prefer to save a local copy to reduce that risk.

I love it, it is now an integral tool for our business and building both products and marketing assets.

Pros

The ability to collaborate with colleagues is incredible. We work across multiple time zones and all remotely.

Cons

Nothing yet, although it could be nicer if there was a direct way to link to my Claude app and I find sometimes the mobile experience could be improved.

Pros

The community library and plugin ecosystem save me a ton of time, theres almost always a free template or icon set someone's already built. Prototyping is solid too, I can mock up a full user flow and test it with stakeholders before any code gets written, which has cut down review cycles a lot. Commenting directly on designs also keeps feedback in context instead of getting buried in some Slack thread from weeks ago.

Cons

Some premium templates and advanced plugins can get pricey once your team grows, so budget conscious teams should watch that. Large files with lots of components tend to lag a bit too, which is annoying mid sprint. And if you need to work offline often, its not gonna cut it since its basically built to be cloud based.

Pros

Figma is a great, intuitive platform. Without much formal training, I was able to quickly latch onto its features. The free version is great to learn on, and and the paid versions are fair for what you gain. Prototyping is simple and easy, allowing you to focus on design.

Cons

If your computer isn’t optimized for it, it can become laggy or cause your device to overheat pretty easily. As long as you focus on the tab you’re working on, this is pretty easily avoided.

Pros

What I like most about Figma is its Components and Auto Layout features, as they make designing easier and more efficient.

Cons

What I liked least about Figma is that it needs an internet connection to work properly. If the internet is slow or disconnects, it can make designing difficult and interrupt my work.
