Pros I have loved how easy it is to use as well as the extensive functionality. The days of Photoshop for me, are over. Cons I do not dislike anything in the tool. Still, integration of video editing could have made it an allrounder, but not as such any improvements or suggestions that Figma can adopt. The prototyping in Figma helps both the developer and designer. The best part of it is that it has minimal tools but we can get so many thing out of the tools. With Figma we created design system we use, with Figma we have plenty of boards that are connected to topics we run (UI, mobile app, card designs,...). I really recommend Figma to everybody who truly want to create complex design ecosystem. Pros I like complexity of Figma, that there is plenty of stuff you can do. You can have design system in it, you can run design sessions, you can design whatever you want - from BTL, to mobile app screens,... Cons I am not missing anything in Figma and I hope that Figma will be used as a main tool in all companies. It helped me create a high fidelity wireframes and responsive web designs. But it's no longer free. It still have a free version but you need to pay for more features. Pros Figma is the best software for UI design. It offers an easy team collaboration and high fidelity prototypes and wireframes. Figma supports different platforms and it offers a variety of design tools. It supports responsive design with its auto layout feature. Cons Figma used to be completely free util recently. June 16, 2021 5.0 Figma has a minimal learning curve and feels really good to use. It's packed with features and it's only getting better with frequent updates. Pros The thing that makes Figma great is that it is browser-based and the files are saved in the cloud. I can continue working on any of my computers, when and where I want, as long as I have an internet connection. Sharing designs with Figma is simple and I really like what they've enabled with the real-time collaboration functionality. Another great thing about Figma is its variety of plugins which make the workflow even faster, there are plenty of plugins available you can do basically anything with them: typography, graphs, collaboration, etc. Cons Sometimes takes a really long time to load up the files. Even if it doesn't run smoothly sometimes as compared to other programs, I still prefer Figma because of its features and large component libraries. Pros One big item I like is no matter which tier of service, there are unlimited users. This is especially handy when the work is being passed around to a ton of different people. It can get expensive on other apps trying to add logins for everybody involved, obviously on larger projects. Figma has lots of great integrations but another really great feature is the ease of handoff between designer and developer. The ability to have multiple designers and project stakeholders spread across different locations and working simultaneously on design ideas seamlessly , is what I like the most about this software. Cons There is the tendency to experience lags during large sized design projects , which obviously will involve high numbers of collaborators and of course higher design assets. I moved to Figma for the purpose of design collaboration but as I kept using it I realized it have everything that I need to design a product. From website design to mobile apps I'm all in on Figma. The prototype creation is smooth and the best part above all it kept improvising and understanding all about what we designers as a user want from a design tool. Cons Although the prototype creation is smooth but it only allows you to have one main frame on a page. That creates problem for me when creating prototypes for micro interactions. I have to create multiple pages to have multiple prototypes. There are easier ways in terms of experience to fix it and I hope sooner Figma will improve this part too. The big reason for making a switch was pixel perfection, controls, collaboration and again all in one thing. I can do wireframe, design, collaborate and create prototypes at one place. Pros The most convenient and useful aspects of this software is that it is able to work with many different types of plug ins, animations, collaborative tools and multifaceted use for wireframing, prototyping and presenting. It is an all around multitasking tool that is capable of holding a lot of different type of content. Cons The only thing that frustrates me is not being able to see font previews before using them, because you have to click into the text to change it and preview it, then if you don't like it, you have to reopen the list and guess at what they will look like. Cons un cauchemar pour naviguer des menus dans tous les sens. Une facturation dangereuse. La facturation est déclenchée par la config et le nombre d'utilisateur par projet. Une horreur à maitriser et tres cher. Par ailleurs ces gens facturent de la tva alors qu'on leur communique un N° de tva. Pros Figma builds off what other similar solutions offer in providing a very simple, easy-to-use interface with both an web-based and app experience that makes it more versatile and useful in my day-to-day work. I also like that Figma does what a lot of other tools don't do: It factors in the importance of content within design. Cons Content within design relies on 3rd party plug-ins for Figma. It would be nice to see this functionality built into the app itself.
