### "A great tool for a all in one solution"

July 29, 2022

5.0

Pros

No more having to move designs over to different software, for design and interactive prototyping then development. It's a great all in one solution which can be used on windows and Mac. Highly recommend.

Cons

The prototyping isn't an Axure, this area could be improved but it mostly meets our needs

### "Amazing product, bad pricing model"

February 12, 2023

5.0

Pros

Figma has fundamentally changed how we design and who can design. It made design easy and collaborative. It made designs readable for engineers.

Cons

Pricing model sucks. You will be paying for any guest (even comment/view only ones) on your team and their seat won't be automatically removed if you downgrade someone to view only.

### "I was opposed to Figma, but then I tried it"

June 23, 2020

5.0

Pros

Being in the industry for a decade, we were using a variety of tools for UX/UI Design. But Figma has conquered our minds with the next most impactful features: collaborativeness, ease of use (thank you components), cross-platform approach.

Cons

Managing files could be significantly improved by adding folders and tagging. Projects are not enough.

### "Good if you know how to make the most of it "

October 21, 2022

5.0

Pros

The combination of design and prototyping makes it very versatile and useful when the user interaction is yo be analyzed in sw design.

Cons

When files get too heavy it is pretty difficult to handle. You need to fully understand first how to use it to properly work with it.

### "Great tool for design and concept work"

December 2, 2021

5.0

Very pleased. This is the tool I never knew I needed until I used it. Now, it's indispensable.

Pros

I love that it's organized, easy to use, easy to work from when I do software development. I can drill down to specific design elements and immediately know which icon, font, or sizing to implement. I can be on the phone with our Product experience engineer and watch him change things as we discuss them. Terrific tool!

Cons

It takes a long time to load sometimes and seems more sluggish than it should.

Pros

Figma is a very fast Web-based application, that allows real-time collaboration between team members. It is great for design, testing and UX.

Cons

As with other tools, some time is needed to adjust to the interface. But overall, I don't have any problems with Figma.

### "Figma in Review"

July 19, 2021

4.0

Pros

The main things I like is that there's no product to download or to consistently update. There's no compelling reason to save and put together your records. Your work is naturally saved to a common space in the cloud.

Cons

It's lack of collaboration with other software like Adobe After effects

### "Easiest and the most powerful tool to try!"

July 7, 2022

5.0

Right now I have used Figma for more than a year. I started there to learn wireframes, mockups, and so on. This software made it easy to do it because the layout is very understandable. It gives the impression that with a few buttons You can do a lot more than three things.

Pros

The most impactful thing is the sharing option when more than one user can work with the file at the same time. The files are in big size, but in Figma, I don't have to worry about that. And the plugins, design formats, and templates are the best! They save a lot of time when I'm working on the project. Another benefit is that Figma works great online, I don't have to download anything, and I can continue my work from any PC. One more thing is keyboard shortcuts, if You learn at least a few of them then your already workflow is more smooth. There are so many more pros that I could think of!

Cons

I really enjoy using Figma, but to be honest, sometimes there would be moments that I feel to use Adobe XD instead, just to be quicker.

### "I never thought I can design things"

June 25, 2021

5.0

I do love Figma. the tool change the way I communicate with developers and designers. small changes doesn't need any input from designers, and developers can rise questions directly in there. all in one place. a live saver!

Pros

until I actually realised that moving blocks around is so easy, when you have a library of ready to use elements! Obviously you still need to have a good taste and an eye for details, but after "designing" in excel this is a next level that is not that much harder to use ;-)

Cons

structure of the project is complicated. sometimes I didn't know where I am in the world and how to came back. also would be great to have a possibility to export objects directly to an FTP/server/s3.

### "Designing never been so easy"

May 31, 2021

5.0

As a student majoring in Computer Information and has a lot web projects, this app is a lifesaver. I can design my web mockup without using fancy app like illustrator, just drag and drop and it's done, also this app works a similar way to illustrator which is good for me because the learning curve is very easy.

Pros

I can actually make something with the free trial which is very impressive. I can easily share the project with my friend without 3rd party services. I can work my project on my tablet when I'm outside which is pretty cool.

Cons

It takes a long time to load since Figma is a cloud-based app, needs a good connection to access it and if I got no internet connection, I can't do anything and my progress is stuck

### "FIgma is shaking things up!"

April 23, 2019

5.0

We are using it to update our current website and create new designs for our company. I want to attempt to use it for social media display ads as well. So far it's been an absolute life saver!

Pros

I haven't used figma for long but man oh man has it blown me away. The first time I showed a website design to my boss while we were both on screen, through the web browser was pretty incredible. I could see his mouse movements and suggestions as I made edits. Allowing for real-time interaction and feedback is incredible. Next is that it's cross-platform because it runs in a browser. Sketch is Mac only. They have really thought out what a modeling UI/UX designer needs and are constantly improving the platform. One of the huge things is live prototyping I can see what it will look like on my device in real time. That can't be beat. Incredible piece of software that will only get better.

Cons

Text styles are a little limited and it can be clunky to edit variables such as button text compared to sketch where each button has an input field in the properties panel. This is a small complaint and really just one of those things you have to think around and then you discover it's just fine.

### "Great tool for prototyping and graphic design"

October 27, 2023

5.0

I am 100% a fan of Figma. The designing process is intuitive and powerful and after learning the software through a skillshare course, I don‘t want to go back to other programs.

Pros

I started using Figma for a wireframe and high-fidelity prototype during a university class on entrepreneurship. Since then I regularly use the software for graphic design as all marketing posts are done in the software

Cons

The image editing could use more power. I would truly appreciate the option to remove the background instead of going to photoshop or another app for this specific purpose

### "I predict Figma will become the next Sketch"

October 6, 2020

4.0

Prototyping has been a breeze. The move from Sketch to Figma was a relatively easy process. Naturally we had to rebuild our component library, but we were able to import most of the styles and colors quite well.

Pros

I really like the prototyping functionalities, the overlay and swap interactions are super helpful and have definitely saved me a lot of screens. The Smart Animate functionality is also really useful for drag interactions and such, it really adds an extra dimension to prototypes!

Cons

Pasting is the first thing that comes to mind when I think about frustrations when using Figma. Pasting rarely has the expected result, it ends up somewhere entirely different from where you thought it would end up. Also selecting a component from a library is a bit of a hassle. It costs me quite some clicks to insert a component. Being used to the efficiency of the plugin Runner in Sketch, this is definitely a downside.

### "Our speedy way into interface design (as a non designer)"

November 24, 2020

5.0

As a product owner I have worked with many different tools to materialize the ideas in my head. Figma has given me the ability to translate ideas faster and more beautiful, starting from plentiful high quality templates (that we bought). It is fun to use and results are stunning and immediately useable by our production teams.

Pros

Although its features are very elaborate and a perfect tool for designers, as a design-interested product owner, I was able to use Figma to make my briefings (and often even actual designs for our product) 10 times better than in my previous workflow. No matter how complex it can be, starting of with a template and improving it was easy, fun and just worked.

Cons

It can be frustrating at times - as a non designer - to wrap your head around the concepts used in Figma. Layers, assets, components, selections,... By now, I have come to understand how everything works, but to change an icon in one place and having it changed everywhere is smart and simple when intentional, but a burden to understand if you are less familiar with design lingo. Nevertheless, the learning curve for that part was OK and as a non designer I know my way around with high quality outcome.

### "All in one"

July 12, 2020

5.0

It's been great my experience as well as the whole team. I highly recommend it!

Pros

I really love Figma. I switched to it a couple of years ago and has been the best decision I've made regarding my design stack. Figma has replaced several platforms in my workflow (Sketch, Zeplin, InVision, Abstract, Overflow). I love how I can create high fidelity designs and turn them into a really well executed prorotype, specially for mobile purposes. Mobile transitions and gestures are great! Live collaboration is key specially for remote teams, that's been awesome.

Cons

The comments tool has a lot to improve: tracking, responses, text styling, marks or favs, resolutions, etc.

### "Figma is the best software ever for prototyping!"

May 14, 2022

5.0

It's my favorite software for prototyping because it's super easy to use and free!

Pros

I love figma! It offers a huge range of features for free and caters to a variety of design segments, from social media post creation and illustration to prototyping for websites and apps! For the creation of Design Systems it is the best, because the creation of components and variants is very intuitive and the autolayout function makes our life as a designer much easier.

Cons

It would be great if Figma had versioning control, so that you don't have to put it on another page or delete previous versions of components. It would also be nice if they included more accessibility features (eg contrast testing) included in the software itself rather than just by plugins.

### "Figma Review"

June 1, 2022

5.0

I've had a very pleasant experience with Figma. I love how it can replace multiple software which means that I can produce high-quality work with a smaller budget.

Pros

What I love the most about Figma is that I can do graphic design and UI UX design in it. It's very convenient for me to be able to design a quick logo in Figma and also make some wireframes and high fidelity screens for an app. In fact, it is so convenient that I stopped using Illustrator for a few months because Figma was so much quicker and didn't require a lot of RAM to use.

Cons

Figma is really great for UI however the interactions are pretty simple and there is not much room for excitement. A little more movement in interactions would be cooler and would simulate a real app better. I feel like Framer does a better job with interactions than Figma, but one can make better and cleaner designers in Figma.

Switched from

[Adobe Illustrator](https://www.capterra.com/p/227125/Adobe-Illustrator/)

I made the switch because drawing in Illustrator was time-consuming and because I couldn’t make any interactions in that software so I switched to Figma instead. Also, Figma has the dimensions ready for almost any device I can think of and for Illustrator I have to manually type those dimensions in.

### "Best design tool for collaborative work"

September 30, 2019

5.0

If there is more than one designer in your team who have to collaborate on the same project, there is no better time to stay in sync and work on the same screens at the same time.

Pros

\- Collaborative work in Real-Time - Projects instead of files - Intuitive interface - Software speed - Projects sharing with reviewers - Free plan is enough for small teams

Cons

\- Not too many plug-ins (Plug-Ins are quite new feature in Figma and the library is growing!) - Custom fonts are not supported

### "the best design tool for teams"

July 8, 2020

3.0

As we are working on the same project at the same time the Figma cloud service it's really helping us being more productive.

Pros

The thing that I like the most about Figma it's the cross-platform support: You can use Figma on your Mac, pc, linux or even a browser. The second thing is the cloud service. Every changes you made it's updated automatically and every person on the team can see what you are changing in real-time

Cons

The thing that I like the lest about Figma it's the fact that it's not battery-efficient on the Mac compared to alternatives and it does not work well on browser. Moreover it's not very easy to use.

### "Figma: Big companies are in big troubles with this small one"

October 26, 2018

I use figma for everything. I can work with SVG's the same as JPG or PNG. Figma rules.

Pros

Figma is the best UI/UX design tool I've ever used! You can use it in your browser or as a Desktop app. It's cross-platform (Yes, even if you're a linux guy). It's so smooth and it looks like Figma's team is working hard every day to make its product better.

Cons

I really love everything about Figma. The only thing I miss is a tool to crop the background of JPG images.
