Pros Der Drag and Drop-Editor und die Möglichkeit, die eigenen Entwürfe mit Kolleginnen und Kunden zu teilen, ist hervorragend. Die Nutzung von Vorlagen wie Apple UI Kits, sonstigen Mockups oder Fonts (z.B. via Icomoon) funktioniert nach etwas Übung einfach. Auch komplexere Projekte sind abbildbar. Und man benötigt keine Creative Suite, um Figma zu nutzen. Cons Das Pricing ist intransparent: Beim Jahresabo von Figma kommt noch ein Monatsabo von FigJam dazu. Leider lassen sich Screens nicht so einfach duplizieren und ausrichten, wie ich das in Adobe XD gewohnt war. Letzteres bleibt mein Website-Layout-Tool N°1. Mir gefällt XD aber besser, da es mehr Gestaltungsmöglichkeiten gibt. Die Nutzung von Komponenten ist in Figma aber einfacher und so bleibt für mich Figma ebenfalls ein interessantes Tool. It's easy to use, I can prototype and share it with other people. It's the true MVP in the industry. Pros I love everything about Figma. Everything that I need lives under the software. Very friendly use, easy to Collaborate with other designers and get quick feedback, we can easily export files. After the update, it became even better Cons The pencil. This is one of those softwares where you just enjoy working with. Easy to use... self intuitive and comes very natural. Zero learning curve. Best feature is overlay transition when creating prototypes. Couldn't find this in any other software. Cons Only one feature that I'm missing is to replace an instance of component for any other component. There's something similar but not exactly what I'd like to see. UX Designer Design Used the software for: I used a free trial ### "Figma - The best software for UX" September 19, 2018 4.0 I am extremely satisfied with this software and with the help of it, I can work faster and more efficient. Since making wireframes is so easy and adequate, I can make multiple design options and explore so many things. Previously I was creating wireframes in Mockflow and presenting them on Invision, but now I can just share a Figma file directly to the client which allow me make changes even after I have shared the file with the client. Pros The best things about figma is that you can work online and it allows multiple users to work on a file simultaneously. You can see a team member, working on the same file in real time. The software is extremely smooth and accurate and another best feature of Figma is that it auto-saves your work so that you don't need to worry about losing some changes that you make in a design. Cons The thing that I don't like about Figma is that it doesn't have an auto spell check and external plugins like Grammarly doesn't work on this software. Another thing that I hate about this software is the comment feature when you send a link to the client. A client has to log-in to write a comment on the link that I share. Review Source Denis D. I replaced four other softwares with Figma and never looked back. Pros The best thing about Figma is that it's a complete package. Using Figma, I can design, prototype, inspect elements (for actual development), version my projects and collaborate with others. Cons As Figma is still in its early days, it may lack some very specific and niche functionality. I use Figma not only to collaborate over designs with cross-functional teams but also to create thought mindmaps and test workflows. Its functionality is out of this world — I particularly love FigJam because it makes brainstorming fun. Even after using it for a few years, I'm super pleased with how the new features being introduced—however small—enhance my productivity. Cons It can get a bit tough to orient yourself, especially when there are a lot of frames and pages. From ideation to completion, Figma has become crucial to our digital business. The free version is great, too. Our team has been able to create more flexible project ideation experiences for our clients and remote teams. We love to sketch logos and use this for whiteboarding. The organization process is simple. I can do so much more with this tool! Cons There is a learning curve. Some of the features, like cropping images, it doesn't feel as intuitive as it should be. Super easy to learn too. Pros I love that there is a web version of Figma which makes it compatible on all systems. That was why I chose it. Of course, it's super intuitive and easy to use. There are tons of plugins that will make certain processes easier. P.S. you can use Figma for much more than UX/UI design. Cons Even though I love all aspects of Figma, it would be nice to see more features for working with images. Perhaps a drag & drop panel that would contain all saved components. It provides the capability of designing high-definition user interfaces including transitions within these interfaces. Cons The price point for large teams can be a bit prohibitive. Figma is an in-browser editing software that allows users to make changes without having any files or software on hand. Our team works with ads so we request a lot of visuals. Sometimes there are some changes to the text or we need a different size. With Figma we can do that without waiting or overloading our designer.
