Uma ferramenta robusta para designers (UX, UI, Product), assim como Product Managers (que tem uma visão completa do que está sendo desenvolvido) e devs (que tem acesso a ferramentas como o Dev Mode em versões mais caras, que facilitam o hand-off). Pros Facilidade de desenvolver um conjunto de páginas que compartilhem dos mesmos componentes. Uma abordagem atômica é incentivada, aumentando a reutilização de componentes micro para diversos fins, e criando um ambiente de desenvolvimento menos custoso. Cons Não há a possibilidade de mover páginas para diferentes arquivos facilmente, tendo que recorrer a copiar e colar o conteúdo num arquivo diferente. There are still some little bugs to be worked out, but it's preferable to a program like Photoshop for designers in many ways. Pros I love how easy it is to export entire projects. I can make an entire document in figma, order it the way I want it, and export it right then and there as a PDF. I also like how much easier it is to organize than something like Photoshop. I don't have to worry about organizing my desktop files. It's all right there in Figma. It has become my top-used desktop app. Cons The free version is pretty restrictive. I would like to see more pages and files allowed for people who don't want to pay. It can also be difficult to open shared files. Links automatically open in the browser, and unless you delete your cache and/or cookies, it won't load. I've used it when working in product design and development, creating graphics to insert into videos, and creating graphics for events and social posts. Once I got the hang of it, it's an essential tool for me in my marketing role. Pros I like how Figma allows you to create very repeatable canvases for creating branded assets. I use Figma to regularly create video graphics and thumbnails, and I can ensure uniformity and quick replication. Cons Not really a dislike, but as a long-time Adobe user, there was certainly a learning curve when transitioning into Figma. The tools are in different places, the methods to select and edit components are different, and the layers act somewhat differently. Invite worked only once, when I created an account it failed to associate my email address to the file I'd just been using, so my workflow was interrupted while awaiting a fix. Pros Ease of use in the brief first look I got to look at it from using my invite, which then didn't work again. So I was unable to continue. I created an account, which then didn't automatically associate to the file I'd been editing a few days previously (Why would they code it so it did????) Cons Invite worked only once, when I created an account it failed to associate my email address to the file I'd just been using, so my workflow was stopped while awaiting a fix. In the past, when I had to use Adobe, it was a nightmare with overloaded options. I felt like I needed to do a separate course to get a grip on it. But Figma is super simple and minimalistic, making it so user-friendly. Cons No cons at the moment, Although sometimes its harder to navigate when using sidebars, which is a bummer. Cons My least favorite thing is that there is a bit of learning curve. I did watch quite a few Youtube videos on the layout and tools to overcome the learning curve though. Pros Figma offre de nombreuses possibilités de prototypage (plus que ses concurrents) Cons Le modèle économique est vraiment mauvais, il vous réclame de payer pour chaque petite chose que vous faite sur Figma, vous avez besoin d'une nouvelle équipe, payer ; un nouveau document, payer ; il n'y a pas d'offre convenable pour les utilisateurs. Je ne parle même pas des bugs de prototypage qui apparaissent lorsque vous réaliser des animations avancés. For example if you are doing more than just basic photo editing, you still need a tool like photoshop. Pros Figma is browser based and this enables me to have quicker access to it from any computer device, than I would if I need to first install it on a desktop. I like the collection of widgets and plugins I have access to , as a user of Figma. These plugins enable me automate critical areas of my design workflow and collaborate better with teammates for effective design execution. It's really designed that you don't have to keep reinventing your own wheel if you set your pages and frames up methodically and label everything! Pros Really critical that for students there was a free Figma available to learn and there's a huge community with tips, sharing style guides and assets to help you along. A person with no design software background can pick this up very quickly as the sizes and frames are pre-made and you can choose which grid you want use and have plug-ins. Cons The FigJam feature is supposed to be collaborative but feel very limited in how creative you can be, and wonder how many users actually use it for vision boards or team brain storming.
