### "Ideal for customer demonstrations as well as real, easy to understand prototypes."

August 19, 2022

4.0

Figma has changed our way of interacting with our clients, because thanks to this tool both our work team and our clients can participate more directly with this step that begins the creation of new projects, said process being pleasant and fast as well that allows a more real vision of each prototype. Since we use Figma teamwork is much more successful to be able to view the screen of another member of the team it is easier to make edits and reach an agreement among all.

Pros

I have had a great experience with Figma, I am a developer so it is important that clients can have a view of what their project is going to look like, which is why using Figma has allowed our team to design these prototypes faster and easier. ,which look real, because it is possible to animate them and even the client can work with us on them, this is thanks to the fact that this tool makes collaborative work possible and at the same time the edition, that is how the client gets involved in your project and you can feel more sure about what you want and if what you see really pleases you. I like that its access is fast and that it is not necessary to have to be tied to a single computer. It is easy to manage and share files with other colleagues, it allows the creation of brainstorming so this process is faster and simpler. They can create advanced or simple designs, everything depends on the client's needs and the fact that it is possible to make notes and comments makes it even easier to understand, which is why Figma is a tool that is vital and ideal for any field.

Cons

If you are used to other tools, the first encounter with this tool can be overwhelming, but as you navigate through it, it is possible to understand it and start using it, but I would like its performance to be greater, because as plugins are added, the program can become slower. However, when thinking about all the good things that its use brings, it is possible to miss these little things that have a solution.

### "Figma For better design and Test."

December 1, 2022

4.0

As an overall experience for me, that is a great app to work on as a UX designer, but when I sue or hat as a UXR specialist, I have to move my design files to other services in order to test them with users.

Pros

\- easy to use- good collaboration tool.- support RTL languages.-browser-based.

Cons

\- is a weak prototyping tool against rivals-no way to test design files like usability testing or A/B testin.

i could work on the same file with my teammates quicker, and it was smarter than XD.

### "Its a great tool for prototyping and designing with some flaws of internet dependency"

June 9, 2023

Its a great tool for prototyping and designing with some flaws of internet dependency and not dealing well with complexity overall still the best option in market

Pros

Creating responsive design in figma is best function of the software the design can adapt to different screen size and devices You can easily design components that resize and reflow, making it efficient to create designs for desktop, mobile, and tablet devices

Cons

as is it a web based tool working locally is very limited which is very frustrating if a user doesn't have a 24/7 internet connection the software is pretty much useless so having this internet dependency is a big con

### "Herramienta definitiva para diseñadores"

January 25, 2024

5.0

### "Excellent design tool for wireframing, UX and UI designing."

August 25, 2022

5.0

Its a great collaborative design tool which works seamlessly and streamlines the design process. It will definitely make your designing experience productive and enjoyable.

Pros

I have been extensively using Figma from last 3 years as a preferred design tool to create wireframes and UI mockups along with the design teams. If you need multiple team members to work on a design board simultaneously (in a real time collaborative way), this can be your go-to tool. It also provides in-app comment features, so business stakeholders can easily share their feedback on specific design component and design/product team can see those comments directly in Slack. For development teams, even though we often used 'Zeplin' to get corresponding CSS code snippets for design components but Figma also directly displays the CSS code for developer's ease. It's super intuitive and productive tool.

Cons

One big challenge of using Figma is that there is no offline functionality. Meaning, it requires an active internet connection while using this application and it makes it harder to work from remote locations where you might have internet connectivity issues.

### "The Industry Standard"

March 10, 2022

5.0

Amazing, so glad we switched from Sketch to Figma and never looked back. This is now the industry standard and I would not think to hire someone without some Figma experience under their belt.

Pros

The fact that I can collaborate with my team in real time is incredibly valuable. I like how often Figma is coming out with new features I needed (or even ones I didn't know I needed to be honest.) It's like the Figma team is reading my mind sometimes. The interface is clear and clean, and most of the time easy to use. I love how anyone can create incredibly powerful plugins that I can use to help speed up my workflow.

Cons

There are some things in Figma that still have a learning curve to it, such as auto layout. It's getting better over time though. I also find there's a slight learning curve with non-designers and collaborating with them, but Figjam has made this transition easier.

### "Figma is the best tool for UX/UI designers, I will be a lifelong customer "

October 13, 2022

5.0

I am obsessed with Figma. You can really tell that the Figma team listens to their community and reacts to meet the needs of their clients which is why everything is optimized to mirror a designer's brain. The grid system changed my life, and I would not be able to achieve such depth, quality, and professionalism in my designs without it.

Pros

Where do I begin? From the free plan, to the collaborative nature of the tool, and the intuitive interface, I will never go back to Photoshop or Illustrator again. The tools are limited in a good way in the sense that it's not overwhelming and my workspace isn't overcrowded by things I don't need. It took me less than an hour to understand the ins and the outs of the platform and now I have thousands of files on Figma.

Cons

Honestly, I have no complaints about Figma. The only problem that I ran into was being limited by the free plan in terms of collaboration, but it's normal and the paid plan is inexpensive anyway so it was time to level up!

### "Figma- Empowering Design"

October 10, 2023

"I absolutely love Figma! It has become my go-to design tool. Figma's efficiency is unmatched, and the ability to save styles and projects online has transformed my workflow into a seamless and collaborative experience.I wholeheartedly recommend Figma to anyone in the design field or those simply looking to enhance their daily life with an exceptional design tool. It's a game-changer, and I believe it's the future of collaborative design."

Pros

\- Auto-layout - I absolutely love Figma! Its Auto Layout tool is a game-changer, helping me work faster and more efficiently.- Faster - I love Figma even more than Photoshop and Illustrator for composing my work.- Online - It's incredibly efficient and allows me to save styles and projects online, making my workflow seamless and collaborative.- Can access the file anytime anywhere as everything is on cloud.

Cons

\- Offline Designs: Need WIFI Connection overtime.- Lack of print design features.- Lack of editing tools.

### "Figma, indispensable du Product Design"

October 17, 2022

5.0

### "Friendly and easy to use design protyping tool for every UX designer"

April 11, 2022

5.0

Overall I am happy with figma and I might not switch easily to other tool too soon. They have all thing in one application where me and my team create graphics, extract files in png or jpg or svg. And they have good community online that helps whenever you stuck somewhere and that same community contributes for plugins to make life easy for UX designers.

Pros

I loved the way figma have created their ui as I can use it for website and app prototyping, they provided simple easy to learn tool box which is much similar to other alternative so even if you need to switch to a new prototyping toll you can learn it very easily and start your work. And compared to other bog alternatives figma have free version to support self learners practice industry level designing easily by seeking their guides.

Cons

I am exploring this tool since 2 years and it amaze me with some of the unique features that I haven't discovered. But I don't like their time consuming real time prototype views if you have lots of screens to made in an app, it makes it too slow to see real time working preview. Also they should provide different screen size optimization option that works on previewing apps.

### "Figma is more collaborative, more light weight and more shareable"

October 3, 2021

5.0

Satisfied with using Figma for over 6 months. It supports importing projects from different file formats and also auto saves the project with version history. Version history is limited for free users.

Pros

Figma is a comparatively new designing/prototyping tool that has become so popular very fast. Unlike other similar tools Figma primarily works on web browsers. It works smoothly on any web browser which means your operating system doesn't matter. However if you would like to use it natively on your system desktop apps for Windows and macOS are also available. An important feature that makes Figma so special is it's real-time collaboration feature where you can share your project with your team and watch them make changes in literally real-time and add comments, just like in Google Docs. Everything in Figma is already known to designers who have been using other similar applications. So switching to Figma won't be a trouble. For beginners, Figma is a good tool to start with. It might feel a bit difficult at first, but you will start mastering it in no time. The features and interface are pretty straight-forward. Figma is also a prototyping tool where you can prototype along while designing. The prototype could be run within the browser or it could be run on Figma's companion apps available on App Store and PlayStore called Figma Mirror. While prototyping you can also include some smooth animations and transition effects to give it a real app's look. Figma has also got a powerful and active community where you can share your work and also reuse the works by other community members. If you are a student or an educator Figma will give you its professional version for free.

Cons

The desktop app for Figma on Windows sometimes get stuck or stay inactive for a while before it responds if we resume using it after a break. In Figma, advanced prototyping features are limited. This means that you can only assign one interaction per user-interface element. For example, you can either hover a button or click a button, not both. The companion app called Figma Mirror feels a bit laggy on Android while testing the prototype.

Cons

### "Figma is a terrific tool for design and prototyping work. "

March 10, 2022

5.0

Figma has saved me hours and hours of frustrating design work in Photoshop - where design can become cumbersome at best. It's easy to master and makes design work fun and fast. I love being able to share quickly when needed and the templates make my work easier and even more rewarding.

Pros

The learning curve for Figma is simple and anyone who is new to design can start creating right away. If you have some design experience then Figma will help you increase productivity immediately and will inspire your creativity. The community makes a lot of templates available and sharable, and many of them are top-notch, pro-level work. Also there are many plugins available that make it even more useful.

Cons

If you're new to design the interface may be a little confusing and some basic start-points are not so clear at first, but once you get the hang of it then design work becomes pretty easy. Menus are not clear, and some of the most used features (for me) are buried under multiple clicks. Having templates available from a handy list would be great such as templates for FB ads or 'hero page elements' and alike.

### "It's hard to remember life before Figma"

December 16, 2021

5.0

We were previously using a combination of Sketch, Zeplin and Invision - Figma is all three in one, and more. If you need a tool capable of creating anything from advanced and scalable design systems to facilitating whiteboarding sessions, Figma is the obvious choice.

Pros

Powerful but intuitive to use Aligned with code development process - easy for developers to reference, comment and lift assets as well as code snippets Always evolving Advanced design system management is easy with Figma

Cons

It's hard to find any negatives. The presentation of prototypes could have more options for screen size - sometimes you want to zoom out and it's hard to do so since there are present display options

Sketch enabled us to create interface designs but not present our work or effectively hand-off or collaborate with developers. Zeplin helped us hand-off to developers but not create, collaborate, or present. Invision helped us present but wasn't amazing at handing-off to developers and there was no ability to create. Figma did all in one.

Figma is a popular cloud-based design and collaboration tool used by designers, developers, and product teams to create and share digital designs. It is known for its intuitive interface, powerful design tools, and real-time collaboration features that allow multiple users to work on a design project simultaneously.Users generally praise Figma for its ease of use, collaborative features, and ability to work seamlessly across different devices and platforms. Many also appreciate the extensive design libraries and plugins available, which can save time and improve productivity. However, some users have reported issues with Figma's performance and stability, particularly when working with large design files or complex animations. Others have criticized the limited customization options and lack of advanced features compared to other design software.Overall, Figma is a well-regarded design tool that has gained popularity in recent years, particularly among remote teams and those who prioritize collaboration and flexibility.

This means that designers can access their files from anywhere with an internet connection.Real-time Feedback: Figma allows stakeholders to provide

Steep learning curve: Some users find Figma to be complex and difficult to learn, especially those who are new to design software.Limited offline functionality: Figma is primarily a web-based tool, so it requires an internet connection to work. This can be a problem for users who need to work offline or have unreliable internet access.Limited customization: Figma's interface and design tools are highly structured and can be limiting for advanced users who require greater flexibility and customization options.Limited animation capabilities: While Figma does offer some basic animation features, it lacks the full suite of animation tools available in other design software.Limited third-party integrations: Some users have expressed frustration with Figma's limited integration options with other tools and software, which can make it more difficult to streamline workflows and collaborate with other teams.

### "Figma the future of UX/UI"

October 7, 2022

5.0

Everyone in the industry is in love with Figma as well as im . if there is a software that i would marry it would be Figma for sure.

Pros

This is the best UX/UI software that i've ever used , It doesn't just allow me to create prototypes but it also allows me to do all the design process inside of it . I won't talk about the animation part since it's a huge game changer for every designer especially interactive designers . Overall the software deserves 10/10.

Cons

I can't see anything bad about the product for me as a multidiscipline designer since it allows me to prototype , animate & organize my project in ease.

### "Easy and quick mockups"

March 3, 2022

5.0

I use Figma on all of our projects, mostly websites but also apps, software and printed materials (books, posters, etc). It's super-easy to change things around when the client asks for modifications, and the mockups are always extremely realistic of the final product. I highly recommend Figma to any designer or product manager that needs a mockup software.

Pros

I first started on the free version and found it to be more than excellent, everything from image editing to creating design elements and then putting them together to create a complete mockup, was easy and intuitive. I mostly use it to design website mockups, but it can be used for anything visual (software, posters, books, etc). I also often collaborate with other designers, managers and clients so I can attest that the sharing features are great, work is immediately synched and saved automatically.

Cons

Some advanced features needed to be researched, like animations and interactions, but this is to be expected. Overall though, in my opinion, the interface and functions are really easy to use.

Reason for choosing Figma

The desktop app has a better feel and functionality than what I've seen with other competing products. The free version also has more features (I started with free and then moved on to a premium plan).

I am using figma for prototyping and a little bit of graphics designing whenever i need to use it for.It helps me allot because i can create a prototype and then test it too using figma and i can test it for multiple devices so it is great

Pros

Cons

Everything else is very very smooth with me i am not disappointed at all but one thing that i think figma should improve is that the desktop version for windows is a bit slow at the startup. my laptop has a 16gb ram it looks good for it but still i feel a slowness at the start but for me it can be compromised and maybe there is not such an issue it is only with me

I am very impressed with this product, and I use it on a daily basis for my design needs- both professional and personal.

Pros

Figma has a vast variety of uses. I've used it to make UI/UX roadmaps, Social Media posts, office presentations, User Docs, and even simple logos.

### "One of the best software products on the market"

July 21, 2021

5.0

The perfect tool for advanced designers, for marketers, to get things done fast. Institute it in your company and you will not regret it.

Pros

I work as a CMO, Head of Marketing or just as a plain Marketer with people of various skill levels and levels of expectation when it comes to design tools. Figma just happens to be the preferred favourite for people at both ends of the spectrum. Both very advanced and experienced designers and complete beginners enjoy it. It is robust, easy and does not take a lot of computing resources to start up the app or to get things done. Collaborating has been made relatively easy and there are plenty of options. I have found myself working with Figma with people with whom I am on the phone, on Google Meet calls or we just watch each other moving about in Figma and leave comments when we have to say anything. It is a new form of co-working - or rather it is the old thing but it finally works.

Cons

When they start increasing the price of this thing. Watch out. That is the thing to be afraid of - limiting features and raising prices to an unreasonable level. I actually do not want the product to be free but sensibly priced and I am worried it goes down the road of being overpriced by some revenue optimisation geek and overengineered to become slow because too many remote dev teams are working on too many features.

### "A collaborators solution to a designers nightmare!"

October 28, 2021

5.0

Overall, Figma is excellent in my opinion. It’s a great tool, and the collab options make this one of the (if not the) best tools available! It’s a ‘must have’ for collaborative designers and illustrators.

Pros

I like it’s simplicity. It’s extremely easy to use, learn, and has lots of online tutorials. You can jump into a new project and everything is straight forward and self explanatory. No messing about and spending numerous hours having to learn the software before knuckling down and getting the work done.

Cons

Figma is a browser based software, and your projects are saved into Figma itself (although they can be exported if you wish). But realistically it would be better to give the user the option for a downloadable version of Figma - incase you down have an internet connection where your currently located. I tried to work on a project during a 2 hour train commute to see a client, but unfortunately I was unable.

### "Figma should be the industry standard for UX/UI design"

December 23, 2019

5.0

As somebody who deals with complex applications, the collaboration and design system capabilities Figma brings to the table is just awesome. I switched from Sketch which covers some of the functionality but it's very hard to create and maintain a design system which mirrors how developers build up interfaces. Figma enables and encourages you to think in components and build and scale a design system as oppose to individual screens. This approach is essential to any product-based business.

Pros

\- Collaboration: follow every update in real time. Sharing designs with client? You don't need to worry if they look at the latest updates or not. Collaborating with others on a design? No need to sync or update - it happens in real-time and automatically. - Components: very easy to use components and start to apply an atomic design approach. - Design system-centered thinking: Figma nailed a bunch of tedious and cumbersome design tasks: for example, it was not intuitive to work with layer styles, text styles and colors in Sketch (before I switched to Figma in 2018). In Figma, you can apply a saved color to texts, vector objects - anything. Very easy to work with saved text presets as well - they all built in a way to help you re-use them.

Cons

\- The design (UI) of the interface is not so nice :) After 2 weeks I stopped noticing it, but as a designer it bugged me at the beginning. - In some cases it takes time to load. - Figma updates the software regularly which in some cases means a completely new interface - and sometimes not all the updates are very intuitive (though they are iterating pretty rapidly so that's a good thing)

Switched from

[Sketch](https://www.capterra.com/p/171364/Sketch/)

Fortunatly, one of my clients wanted to make it the main design tool replacing Sketch. I was skeptical at first but then I was very glad to make the switch. It took me 2 weeks to really understand what Figma has to offer and got over the annoying differences compared to Sketch. My advice to people in similar situations: - Get over the fact that the UI of Figma isn't great. I get it. Too bad. But you should look at the functionality! It's you who will create the beautiful stuff! - Get over the differences vs Sketch. There's many little things that are different which can be annoying at first - but it's all because you are used to Sketch. Be patient! You'll realize Figma solved a bunch of these problems in a more intuitive way and it takes some time for your brain to rewire itself. - Focus on the good stuff. Explore components - it's truly one of a kind on the market. So much easier to work with than symbols in Sketch. Come up with a new workflow utilizing the prototyping and instant sharing capabilities of Figma.

### "A great tool for prototyping, usability testing, and collaboration"

March 2, 2023

5.0

Overall, Figma is a great tool, and an excellent fit for my team.

Pros

I like that I can create simple prototypes easily, and create more complex ones as needed. Figma also has extensive libraries that you can use that make the design process easier. I also appreciate that they often release updates and new features.

Cons

Sometimes, if I want to do something very specific, the UI isn't completely intuitive. It is easy to get used to after a while though. You can also look up how to do most things easily.

Reason for choosing Figma

Price was a driving factor, but I was also more familiar with Figma.
