### "Not good for companies"

March 2, 2024

4.0

My developers loved it, but I hated it. I share the concerns raised about Figma's user management and billing system. My experience has been frustrating, marked by unexpected charges due to the automatic upgrade of viewer accounts to full memberships without explicit consent. This lack of transparent control and oversight in billing has not only led to financial strains but also raised serious questions about Figma's suitability for businesses requiring stringent compliance and security protocols. Unfortunately, Figma’s current system appears to lack the necessary safeguards for business owners to manage their accounts effectively and economically

Pros

I have to admit I am impressed with the tools themselves, easy to follow

Cons

As a business owner utilizing Figma for our design and prototyping needs, I feel compelled to voice significant concerns regarding its billing and user management systems. Figma offers a suite of powerful tools for design mockups, but it falls short in areas crucial to business operations—particularly in terms of compliance and security. In my own experience with Figma, I've encountered serious issues where the system automatically upgraded viewer accounts to full memberships without my consent or awareness. This led to unexpected and substantial charges, a problem that became apparent only upon a detailed audit of our accounts. The lack of clear notifications and approval mechanisms for such critical changes is a significant oversight. In a busy business environment where oversight of multiple systems is a common challenge, such lapses in user management can easily go unnoticed. More critically, this flaw in Figma’s system isn't merely a financial risk; it's a breach of basic compliance protocols that businesses strictly adhere to. The ease with which employees can unintentionally escalate costs by sharing projects outside the organization poses a direct threat to operational security and budget management. This oversight indicates a gap in Figma's understanding of the nuanced needs of business operations, especially in terms of administrative control and security protocols. Therefore, I urge fellow business leaders and decision-makers to exercise caution with Figma. It’s vital to vigilantly monitor your account settings and billing to mitigate these risks. The current state of Figma’s system underscores a crucial demand for tools that prioritize not just functionality but also align with stringent business practices and security measures. In light of these shortcomings, I am considering the development of an alternative platform that foregrounds these business essentials. This potential solution would offer robust control over user permissions and financial implications, addressing a critical market need for business-centric design tools. Until Figma addresses these shortcomings, businesses must recognize and navigate these risks actively. This is a call to Figma and other software providers: align your services with the stringent requirements of the business community. Only through such alignment can digital tools genuinely serve and support the diverse needs of the professional world.

### "Great Idea in Theory but Extremely Difficult to Use "

May 4, 2024

3.0

Pros

The idea behind Figma is wonderful. It was made to help content and design teams work together in developing applications, instead of the two being siloed during the development process. Once learned, the commenting tools can help the two collaborate.

Cons

While the idea behind Figma is wonderful, it's not user-friendly at all. To start, our company had dozens upon dozens of trainings on it for months, which was proof of how difficult this new software was. It's very difficult to use its basic tools, like viewing screens. But the biggest drawbacks for our team was keeping track of all the different versions of the documents being edited and finding particular items within a screen to edit. Many on our team wanted to go back to the tried-and-true Excel and Word copy decks for the ease of document version control and the search-and-find function. I think Figma has some kinks to work out, though the idea is great.

### "Examining Figma"

September 9, 2023

5.0

I have a lot of figma experience. Figma is far more user-friendly. Simply dragging and dropping pieces onto the canvas will allow you to design your prototype. Figma features a very user-friendly interface. Even if you don't know how to code, you can achieve amazing outcomes. Because it is cloud-based, you can collaborate online by exchanging files. The main advantage is that there is no need to save your design (whatever work you have done). After finished editing, you may immediately evaluate your changes in real-time. It is compatible with all devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets, cellphones, and others. It works with both desktop PCs and mobile phones, allowing you to view your files from anywhere. Figma allows you to customise templates to meet your specific requirements. When deciding between Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma, I strongly recommend Figma.

Pros

Variants are part of the Figma component library. It (Variants) is a smart component management module. To structure the team asset library, just unclutter several copies of the same component and merge them. For those who want to collaborate, it is simple to utilise. You can access all of your Figma accounts, workspaces, and community profiles from a single interface. The most endearing aspect of the figma is the FIGMA PLUGINS. Figma plugins are powerful while remaining stable and secure. Overall, it's fantastic!

Cons

It lacks a rubber. In figma, there is no method to erase. And it requires an internet connection. This makes it impossible for you to work offline.

Reason for choosing Figma

It is much easier to use.

### "No other alternative is as good as Figma"

March 11, 2024

4.0

Figma rocks for design – no matter the stage! It's super easy to use for basic sketches (low-fidelity wireframes) and powerful enough to build complex, high-quality apps. Basically, Figma is awesome for design from start to finish!

Pros

I like the way that advancement is extremely simple in figma in light of the fact that the intelligent metatrails accessible in there and generally the modules caused my work to dispense more straightforward and Strong parts, auto formats and clearly tokenisation of plan framework. I also made my CV layout in it to make it look good.

Cons

I will say, Figma is minimal hard to use for amateurs. Highlights are too overlayered. This makes it somewhat hard here and there to appropriately sort out a particular element and more to it, symbols situations are not easy to understand

### "Mother-tool & ultimately my first choice"

June 15, 2023

5.0

Figma helps us with handling creative design tasks which is a paramount factor in our business.

Pros

Figma is great for building, crafting, designing & redesigning unique prototypes either for computer software or web applications. It supports both wireframing & prototyping. We do many things with it---anything from website templates to animation processes. It's not a friendly tool but ideal for web-based projects. The online editor is highly responsive and there are plenty of awesome colors and fonts. It's the designer's first choice.

Cons

The interface isn't friendly and can sometimes be pretty hard to work with, especially for novices.

### "Figma Review."

November 21, 2023

5.0

Pros

This product has already changed the rules of how design is created for quite some time. What I appreciate now is that it doesn't stop doing so. This demonstrates that the team working on the product has a vision and knows what users need.

Cons

Currently, the main drawback of Figma, in my opinion, is the terribly designed personal catalog of user files. The hierarchy of projects within a team is poorly editable. I would like more freedom, such as the ability to create tags for files or at least to create separate folders for my files. Also, the gradual complexity of the system raises concerns for me.

### "It helps me to animate my ideas"

October 4, 2023

5.0

It helps me to create designs whenever I feel inspired or receive an order. It's a tool I will highly encourage you to take time and learn it.

Pros

I like Figma because it gives the ability to design simple and complex user interfaces without using a single code. It might seem complete on the first try but becomes easy when used to working with it.I prefer using it over many other UI design tools because it offers some advanced prototyping functionalities like creating reusable design elements, defining dynamic layouts that automatically adjust based on content changes, screen sizes, or device orientations, allowing me to create interactive and animated prototypes, and supports a wide range of plugins and integrations with other tools and services. It makes the design process extremely easy for me and saves time and resources - it boosts my user experience and productivity.

Cons

The only issue with Figma is that it can be hard and overwhelming to use when just getting started. It has a simple/complex user interface at the same time.

### "O figma para uso em diagramação"

May 5, 2023

4.0

### "Figma out beats most competitive prototyping softwares in the market"

July 18, 2023

5.0

It helps us with design prototyping and wireframing as per our project(s) needs. I find this software extremely effective and enthusiastic. In all circumstances, I will always recommend Figma to businesses, organizations, enterprises, and personnel.

Pros

Figma is an amazing software for application prototyping. It has a high affinity for design visualization and idea portraiture. It supports the most popular fonts that we often use throughout our designs and has an advanced and rich user workspace. I like its responsiveness to media queries and the editor is duper fast.Figma helps us craft amazing prototypes and wireframes as per our project(s) requirements and also enables us to directly merge them with our favorite development tools and thus, creating a seamless development experience. Its design layouts are very cool and we can collaborate on our projects easily.

Cons

I will say, Figma is not for beginners. Features are too overlayered. This makes it a little hard sometimes to properly figure out a specific feature and more to it, icons placements are not user-friendly

### "Using Figma as a Student"

October 16, 2023

4.0

My overall experience of Figma is good. While I use other tools to supplement the areas Figma is missing, I would not consider replacing it. I use Figma boards for creating site maps and user flows and I use the regular side of Figma for creating design systems, and the digital project itself.

Pros

I love that a majority of Figma is easy to use and most tools are where I would expect them to be. Figma is very versatile and I use it daily.

Cons

Search features and the ability to keep an organized workspace would be nice to have

### "Collaborative design platform."

April 26, 2023

5.0

Figma enables effective collaboration among designers in my organization in real-time, streamlining our in-house design process for faster iteration, feedback, and approval of prototype design ideas.

Pros

I love the versatility that Figma provides for prototype designing. Within my team, we use Figma to create wireframes and prototype layouts for web, mobile, and desktop applications. The ability to export our prototype designs in various formats is another fantastic aspect of Figma. I also appreciate Figma's collaboration feature, which allows our entire design team to gather feedback in real-time and iterate on different design ideas, leading to faster project completion and improved quality in our design prototypes.

Cons

Figma is challenging to work with in offline mode , due to its limited functionality when used without internet connection. Additionally, its advanced features have a steep learning curve, which may hinder accessibility for non-advanced level designers.

### "My favorite UI designing tool"

January 5, 2024

5.0

I am big fan of Figma it's really pretty cool. I am really impressed to use figma because it's just small application but it's have lot of feature very good interface, very easy to run my prototype, very easy to import my designed screens, can able to convert my design to React native, HTML and CSS Code it's really cool thing. I don't know the specific reason to like figma but I like more.

Pros

Figam is one of the UI/UX Designing tool. It's really very simple and attractive interface. Number of tools is very less but you can able to design able to all things it's really cool thing. One more thing you don't need to install the software you just open your web browser and type Figam easy use it. Here lot of Plugins available for icons, Tables, chat, and more.

Cons

No Drawbacks have in Figam it's completely perfect.

### "Honest review from a heavy user"

November 12, 2022

5.0

Figma has helped me practice my UI chops, helped me land my first job in the product design field, and I got so used and comfortable with it's tools that nowadays I create presentations and resumes in it (recently I felt broken on the inside - or something less dramatical - when my boss asked me to create my presentations in Google Slides instead - a true disappointment, for real). I easily create different screens, and I have a good time testing and playing around with different kinds os components and animations.

Pros

The learning curve is pretty flat for most people, and that makes Figma a highly accessible software on the market. This fact is singlehandedly responsible for a wave of new, fresh designers, making it into the world of product design. And that is what I like the most - how accessible it is. To me, that's Figma's greatest feat so far.

Cons

Auto layout is not a very friendly feature. It takes a while to learn and master, and even when you do, it still bugs from time to time and I struggle to understand wether the problem I'm facing is a bug, or I did something wrong.

### "Superb design tool - better for collaboration, and cheaper than competition"

January 5, 2023

5.0

Great experience using Figma, works across the business beyond the design team, well into software and business (great for making slide decks too!). Replaces a lot of other potentially needed pricey software.

Pros

The collaboration tools are the stand out here. Software is extremely powerful but also allows team to work on a file at the same time. Offers superb integration and additional plug-ins, as well as a wide online network of other users and templates. Easy for newbies, powerful for experienced users.

Cons

Maybe some more tutorial content for new users would be good, as well as tighter integration with the FigJam tool. But honestly not much to complain about.

### "Figma is amazing"

January 4, 2023

5.0

Overall its a good software. but some days hard times come and i get frustrated using it. But thats okay as its still a human things. its a great software but their are places of improvement that cant be denied. i would love to see more features.

Pros

its sooooo easy to use.other products is market are way more complex. i leant the this software within few days. its beginner friendly. Well! i dont know why i would love to create logos on it tooo. And for the suggestion part, can you. please add the feature of pixalating any image in figma, as i would love to use it.prototyping feature is a great thing in figma. it makes me say, 'here we go!'.

Cons

the very drawback of this software is that, as i get zoomed in and create lines or shapes of stroke size less than 0.5 or usually 0.25 the shape behaves absurd. i want my things to be perfect and even an one pixel can make me worry. so it would be great if the lines and polygons dont change their directions and shape structure respectively, while playing at zoomed in mode.

### "Figma, an excellent tool to generate prototypes and increase the customer experience."

March 26, 2023

5.0

It's a reliable tool, and it works perfectly when it comes to executing the prototypes so that our designs are seen by the end user and receive their feedback. We can also share views of our designs or allow collaborative work to be done. In general, its performance is consistent and scalable to complex projects.

Pros

Figma has been adopted in multiple developments for its versatility, and for its proven efficiency in increasing the user experience in prototyping design stages. Its library and object management simplifies work on complex projects where multiple people participate to prepare proposals and guarantees a homogeneous product. Its interface has a very good degree of usability and the learning curve is short.

Cons

Figma has been widely adopted globally and has proven to be preferred by many developers and UX designers. However, some may have opted for other multilingual alternatives, 3D transformations or voice prototyping. But it should be noted that the consistency and simplicity in the use of Figma made it the favorite and currently many companies implement the prototypes and projects through these platforms.
