First, their team designed a brand-new website for us. That alone made our business stand out. Their software training was outstanding. They were readily available to answer questions and helped us to integrate it with the website based on our specific needs. Now, the information we previously had to check multiple data bases for is in one location – easily accessible from anywhere (thanks to \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\], both \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] and \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\]). The software helps us save both time and money. I highly recommend their software – it pays for itself!! September 10, 2018 4.0 Many upgrades have come about in the last few years to improve the features of the program. They have worked hard to make response time to issues quicker. Pros The fact that it is capable of doing a LOT of things for your business; it's multi-faceted and user-friendly. We've had this program since 2010 and we have experienced substantial growth in our business with the online enrollment portion of the program---it makes taking enrollment so much easier if you can get the client to enroll themselves. Cons I don't like the bookkeeping aspect of it; it needs to be developed more with accounting in mind, but then again, it's not accounting software---we use QuickBooks for that. Also, it didn't come with a user manual when we first went with the company which was 11 years ago but they are developing it now. Pros Can locate students who are a active or completed easily. Easy to schedule the driving sessions for instructors and to schedule classes for the classroom teacher. And I can give permission to the instructors to manage there sessions with the kids. Cons Not many.... sometimes it could take a while to solve an issue or take to one of the staff because of their working hours. It keeps track of all the details on the customers experience and allows us to go back and revisit specific notes. Great company to have on your team! Pros The software is very detailed and the company has already thought through many of the challenges we face in this business Cons thats a hard question because when I tell them something that I would like to do differently most of the time they can make that happen. If I was to say anything, the first look on the home page is that's its very busy and intimidating but once you get used to it, its great. They are easy to contact and solve our problems. Pros We are able to record electronically each time a student is in attendance for in class, behind the wheel instruction, and required observation times. ( detailing: date-time-instructor-lesson #-etc.). Also, students may schedule appointments online. Cons A detailed user manual would be helpful in training new employees. There are a lot of customizeable features which gives a good sense of control of your business and it looks like something you'd use in 2019. Being able to use a software from your phone, tablet, or computer is huge for our customers. Sometimes you have to work with the software, and adjust your business to it and we could not be in a better place for doing so. The student data base system we had been using was shut down due to unforeseen circumstances and really put us in a bind. The Truck School Software keeps us running up to speed on a daily basis with a system that our instructors can easily access. We have very strict compliance requirements and the TSS system helps us track students progress throughout their training. The support from TSS is excellent as they have been able to customize their platform to meet all of our needs. Cons The only con to TSS is that we did not learn of them sooner. Cons There was a few instances I wish the program could have been customized to our specific need but could not. But nothing will ever be completely perfect. If you need something added to the system all you need to do is submit a request and if it is possible, they create a program for you! Just fantastic.
