This program has allowed me to price large multi unit projects quickly and efficiently. It allows me to be nimble with changes throughout the course of project development. It also gives me a competitive edges with the diagrams and layouts it produces. Pros This program allows me to complete a takeoff with ease. From the very start of organizing your files with the import functions to clicking off rooms. Cons It takes a bit of getting used to and requires some user input to set yourself up for a successful takeoff. We use it for every take off we do. I cant see us switching to any other software. Pros What I like most about the software is the auto estimating / phasing. The way it calculates carpet cuts is fairly good so we don't have to manually do that anymore. Duplicating and manipulating files/drawings is very easy to do in this sofeware. Cons What I like least about this software is it can be laggy sometimes due to the size of the project. I also wish that creating patterns was easier. I don't always get exactly what i need and sometimes that messes with the quantities. Switched from [AutoCAD](https://www.capterra.com/p/265024/AutoCAD/) Measure square makes better carpet cuts, looks cleaner & is more user friendly. Cons maybe adding in more products that have become popular in the product list and taking away older non used ones from the data base. Like adding in LVP plank as a section outside of Wood, adding 12x24 tiles. Removing things like 6x6 tile. Pros I work with M2 daily and like almost all of the features within the program. I love the fact that I can show the installers the areas and elevations in 3D. Building patterns is done with ease in most cases, I like the fact that I can take off projects in phases and estimate by tab. using the hot keys allows me to be more efficient and get my work done quicker. i would recommend this program to any one working in the flooring industry. Cons there are a couple things that I would like to see improved on such as room numbering. Dividers are an issue is some cases but I have managed to find work arounds. Once I got into the takeoff aspect MS2 of back in 2004 I slowly got out of the flooring installation end of it and immersed myself solely into the mastery of MS2 and never looked back.
