Pros: It's very clean and well organized. The software has recently been utilized by the company I work for and its much easier to use than the last one.

Cons: It randomly stops working in chrome for no apparent reason and there are a few too many buttons that don't always have a use. You also cant change your own photo unless you have user rights.

Pros: I like that there is a place for everything and it is easy to navigate through the different areas that I have to manage.

Cons: The qualification process they had in place a few years ago to be able to get permission to have access to certain levels of administration was a bit extreme.

Overall: Everything HR, benefits and more in one system.

Pros: I like all the search features options, for the most part easy to use, and the new updates.I feel that UTA could be easier to use, if some changes were made.

Cons: It takes too long to get problems resolved. It is hard to get a hold of someone. Sometimes problems arise, and by the time they are resolved we have missed a deadline.

Pros: When i worked the changed up the sustem about pay stubs an they introduced us to ultipro i was so happy it got it all

Cons: Only problem is, is when your job wants to block some access from the site making you go through the stress of calling

Pros: The features that ultipro provides are top notch and their analytics are their strongest feature. They are able to tell you how likely your employees are to stay, leave, or excel into new roles within the company. They offer a pretty great package with an enormous amount of features.

Cons: They really need to put the effort they did into building the functionality into the design of the software. It¿s not always intuitive and can be hard to use unless you¿ve gone through some extensive training.

Pros: This is a great tool for managing payroll, open enrollment, deductions, and earnings, and onboarding

Cons: The time management and performance management tools leave more to be desired. Scheduling and vacation requests should be easier.

Pros: Easy to use with a very simple interface. Used to view pay documents as well as tax information. Can also use to change my direct deposit set up as well.

Cons: Have to leave this system to dive further into metrics. Only gives a high level overview of pay/tax.

Overall: Able to see paystubs and tax documents as well as manipulate direct deposit information.

Pros: More time keeping reports than ever. We use these reports in most of our business segments for tracking especially direct labor to indirect labor.

Cons: Could use more functionality. For example, when employees have split percentages between departments, I would like to see the ER 401K Match be split up as well.

Pros: I like how it's customized to show my personal info and how long I been with a company. Great tool to use and has a wonderful time clock tool to punch in and out from your phone as well so you don't need to be in front of a computer

Cons: There is one thing I don't like and maybe can be updated anytime you have to edit the time it needs to have a note where you submit but I think it should allow the user to change the time and then just have payroll approve so it saves them time as well and reflects the adjusted time.

Pros: Great application that can handle payroll, documents, review processing, and benefits selection. Easy to use and can handle any number of users across any size business.

Cons: Difficulty to find things sometimes. Could be the way it is set up for my company. Wish I could set up my dashboard the way I want it to look instead of a single dashboard view for the entire company.

Comments: It's best to use Chrome as your web browser to have fewer glitches.

Pros: We made the switch to UltiPro about 5 months ago. It was a seamless process. The ease of use for the end-user has been really awesome, especially with how you enter PTO.

Cons: On your time sheet, the slots for type of hours, and coding sometimes glitch out making it restart. Would love to see this updated.

Pros: The Payroll Gateway has all you need to process a clean and timely payroll. The steps are outlined for you so that you do not miss a process. It's almost fail proof!

Cons: The tax reporting needs to be improved. There are no alerts in the payroll process to help eliminate tax errors prior to closing the payroll.

Cons: There is nothing that really stands out to me as a con with this software. My only minor complaint is that it can be difficult to keep track of where everything is since there are so many options.

Pros: There is some interesting core functionality but, overall, the product isn't very user-friendly or intuitive, compared to social media tools and enterprise level software like Workday. There are a lot of software limitations as it appears that the tool has multiple separate modules that don't necessarily communicate well with each other, nor is the implementation team familiar with how to best optimize each tool. If you're looking for a basic HR database, where folks input or enter data manually, this might be for you. If you're looking for a robust and intelligent system that can be customized to adapt to employees' needs, this likely isn't the right fit.

Cons: The implementation team and support is poor to say the least. Rather than taking a solution-focused approach, where they could help you best utilize the tool and maximize its impact, they simply have you answer a laundry list of questions and they program the tool based on your answers. In my experience, the tool is not incredibly easy to use, not very flexible and, should you need to make modifications, you'll be struggling to do so with the implementation/service team.

Overall: It works well as a database when your enter data into it and it doesn't do much more.

Pros: It provides guide at every level, through Quick Tour. The reporting platform is great, both standard reports and BI.

Cons: Non I can point to at the moment, it has been great all the way. Hope Ultipro can grow to support larger/bigger companies.

Pros: This tool allows self-service and good quality, generates reports with good quality and very fast, in addition to being integrated with excel and I am very dependent on excel for almost everything, it has been very good

Cons: Sometimes its interface is a bit sturdy and does not allow me to move faster, but they are things that can be improved over time, I'm happy with their use

Pros: I love that I can quickly access my HR and pay information. The UltiPro layout is very easy to navigate. I head to UltiPro at least 4 times a day to clock in and out.

Cons: I have no complaints! I love the functionality. I am a new employee, so not all of my personal information is populated.

Pros: I like the easy to use menu option, the punch in time card is easy to access. Although we use a different software for my benefits, I can still access the link through this software application. It is very clean and easy to read, visually appealing. It also has a "most recently used" drop down menu which is very nice because I usually just use about 3 different tabs within that menu daily and then the rest of the tabs I use maybe once a month.

Cons: The accruals section is a bit confusing to navigate as a user. The customer service works on a case system which is usually always a slow response time.

Overall: Benefits is that it allows us to become an electronic and we can focus on improving and streamlining processes into the system for tracking/reporting.

Pros: The system capabilities. The reporting feature using BI is excellent and very easy to use. The HRIS, payroll, and onboarding systems are all very user-friendly and I like that everything is integrated into one system instead of having to do things separately.

Cons: The performance management feature can be improved. Searching for a specific performance review once it has been sent out was a little tedious.

Pros: Ultipro is fairly easy to use. The timesheet calculates the clock in's by the exact time which is great.

Cons: The reporting is rich however it is a little difficult to learn. You have to be computer savvy to flexibly use the reporting in Ultipro

Pros: Online portal is easy to navigate and use for self service, and the reporting capabilities are phenomenal. Excel based customizable reports for almost anything.

Cons: Back office is a little bit clunky to use when first learning, but after getting used to it, it's not an issue.

Pros: Configuration is great most of the time - you can get it do nearly everything you should need. Modular means that you can grow into the system. The UI is decent and improving. Reporting is very powerful. Really decent, scalable solution for the price. Fits a 300 - 8000 person company without a problem.

Cons: If you are moving outside of the U.S. and Canada the international configuration isn't optimal and there are some features/functions which are not supported internationally although they are working on it. There is some glitchyness with reporting as it's based on SQL rather than Excel, but it's incredibly powerful and nearly every field is reportable with a little work. Mobile app is glitchy, especially around Time Management and Leave.

Pros: UltiPro has helped our company transition from a mainframe and many paper processes seamlessly. We can now offer employee self service (and transparency), quick report building and generating, process improvement for performance management, a candidate friendly experience and endless possibilities for enabling future functionality (mobile, LMS, etc).

Cons: We are not crazy about the salary planning feature. It is a little clunky for our organization and we wish it was as easy as it is to distribute reviews. This can certainly be improved upon and Ultimate Software listens to their customers, so I think it will be in the future.

Fantastic product and our transition to UltiPro as an in-house HRIS system was virtually seamless.

Comments: I would recommend this product to anyone looking for the full package in a business solution. Their customer service and support staff are all awesome.

Pros: The system is very easy to use, not for just the administrators, but the for the associates as well. Very user friendly.

Cons: The BI functionality is not always as easy, sometimes there are a lot of steps to add criteria to a report.

Pros: Very user friendly on both administrator and employee side. Continuous updates and improvements pushed out to customers at no cost. A true fully integrated HRIS through the entire employee cycle.

Cons: Customer service works on case system, which occasionally can cause slow response. But you can always escalate to your dedicated account manager team.

Pros: -Easy to use -Integrates with onboarding and our core system -Updates add necessary features -Communication and email features work seamlessly with applicants -Applicants can add references to their profile

Cons: -More features still needed, cross-boarding for hiring internal candidates -Customer service often give response of "known issue" and often feels like there isn't a person to speak with -Candidates often complain that they can't import their Presence into applications and takes time to complete for each application.

Pros: All training, hiring, payroll, and planning needs for your business in one place. Can be quickly learned for new managers.

Cons: Inventory has to be manually entered, but this is not uncommon for any software similar to this product.

Comments: We came from an outdated server-based system that had very limited functionality. Moving to UltiPro was like moving from a Model-T to a Cadillac. So many bells & whistles, reports, and functionality. We've enjoyed learning to use them.

Pros: Patient and professional support staff BI reporting - both standard reports and creating custom reports Ability to easily track and reconcile benefit enrollments on a monthly basis The community file in BI reports so I can share reports I've created with other managers/directors Talent Management module! With the enhancements in 2018, it meets are needs exactly.

Cons: Creating new workflows can be a little intimidating. I've enabled all the necessary standard workflows and am now working on customized workflows. Support staff have been very helpful in answering questions.

Pros: I love UltiPro and have been using it since 1997. Over the years we have added features - with the time management being the most recent. I cant say enough about how user friendly the software is. They have made my j ob much easier and streamlined in many many ways.

Cons: Their price isnt always with in my budget - but they are willing to work and negotiate with me, which usually gets me what I need.

Comments: If choosing this product, recommend going through a distributor, as customer service provided by Ultimate Software was unsatisfactory.

Pros: Fairly intuitive user interface. Integrated well with 3rd party Time & Labor module (TimeForce). Handled union environment well, with different pay scales by job.

Cons: Did not have embedded time and labor module. Clunky reporting with limited filter capability. While user interface was intuitive, it definitely needed an update.

Pros: As a user - The categories are pretty easy to find - and labeled well so that you know what you're going to find under each category. You can add Favorites - so places that you go frequently, so that you don't have to drill into the categories to get to them. I'm also an administrator of certain data - so being able to take care of things for other staff is also easy and manageable as well. You can even get notifications that what you do is taken care of as a user and as an administrator.

Cons: There is one limitation to the product that I notice and deal with - it is for me the limitation of field length (amount of characters per field). You have to be creative when you're setting up items in dropdown lists for staff to be able to choose from and still be able to push across what they're choosing.

Comments: I really like the product and wish I had more time to learn and test the system. I am the only person on my team, from conversion left with the organization. That creates it's own challenges as I am the primary payroll processer and report writer.

Pros: I really like the system. It has been a great move for us. I like all the functionality that we have with this product

Cons: I don't like that we have to pay for some add on features per user. I understand that this is a software company but sometimes the development is really cool and would be a great add on, but organizationally we are not able to pay for this feature.

Comments: Overall UltiPro is a superb product that has many different modules to meet the demands of growing companies. From payroll, time and attendance, and benefit administration, UltiPro can help lead the way to drive efficiency and promote a better experience for administrators and employees.

Pros: The ease of which one can use UltiPro is second to none! The user experience is easy to navigate and they are constantly adding new features. The extensive modules that are available under the Human Capital Management umbrella like benefits, applicant tracking, time and attendance, compensation management, and more! Excellent customer service 24/7.

Cons: The mobile app integration and functionality needs some work, mainly with push notifications. The ability to make global or batch changes on groups of employees is very difficult, if not impossible. It can be difficult to understand the reporting features, you must build your own as the provided template reports just don't cut it.

UltiPro offers a comprehensive HRIS that has helped streamline several of our processes with a user friendly system.

Comments: Our previous provider was not nearly as comprehensive in their offering or their customer service. We couldn't be more pleased with UltiPro!

Pros: The customer service UltiPro provides is top notch. They are responsive and welcome our feedback. (They even make changes based on it!)

Cons: At times we have ideas that we'd like to implement, however not enough other companies are requesting the same ideas so they aren't always implemented.

Pros: The product could be tailored to suit a variety of needs, however; extensive training was required in order to accomplish any significant modifications.

Cons: This product was sold to us as a "Completely Web-based" product. It wasn't. The "Back office" which wasn't mentioned at all in the sales presentation, required a citrix connection to Ultimate's mainframes. Other, numerous logins were also required. The product appeared to be in a beta stage and yet was marketed as fully functional. Combine this with their inexperienced support team which performed programming in our production environment and lacked any degree of responsiveness, and what we were left with was 3 years of frustration and overall profound dissatisfaction.

UltiPro is a very easy site to use becuase of the step-by-step instructions for each tool available.

Pros: I like how easy it is to contact customer service when I experience an issue. I really enjoy the video tutorials as well that can guide me through a new process.

Cons: There really isn't too much that I don't like about UltiPro. I do wish it gave us a warning as to when our PTO calendar needs to be reset because of the issues some employees were having with their PTO.

Ultipro meets all our needs.

Comments: Ultipro meets all our needs and then some. The customer service we experience from this company cannot be compared. Our CSR is an amazing person and if she cannot fix something, she finds someone who can. Timely. With a great attitude. I have never found that kind of support with any other company I worked with. If a payroll problem crops up, they have a dedicated line for that, realizing payroll is very deadline driven.

Pros: Ease of use, tons of virtual training available, top notch customer service, customization available. Ease of use for employees. Import and Export integration. Reports readily available both in Ultipro Web and Cognos. Report writing ability available. Dashboards available. SSO configurable. Integrated Tax Setup.

Cons: We are a large enterprise, some of the modules are for smaller customers. Tax recon can be a bit cumbersome, but manageable.

Comments: HRIS is getting easier to use!

Pros: From never working in a HR system before, it was difficult to understand the concept of building it. But our trainer was very helpful and patient with us to build what works best for us.

Cons: I wish we could edit a candidate's information that we enter into the recruiting area. Sometimes we receive these people from outside sources and do not want to loose track of them, so that is why we create them. Also, I wish we didn't have to enter an address and such.

Comments: please add a federal filing option of 1095 forms next year

Pros: Very straight forward, easy to navigate this is been on of the easiest systems to use for payroll data entry and benefits (for the most part)

Cons: Lack of history for benefit administration, wish there was multiple line entries for benefits when they start and stop, wish adding and selecting dependents and beneficiaries were easier.

Comments: A challenge that we face in our company is getting associates to login to UltiPro to review their information and enter time worked in their time sheets.

Pros: I like that Ultipro is continually looking for ways to enhance the product. Keeping abreast of any changes via the UltiPro newsletters is beneficial for me and my team. I also like that there is a rapid response Payroll hotline - a contact for any unforeseen payroll emergency.

Cons: Sometimes it's frustrating to open a case to get an answer to a question. In this world of "getting things fast", waiting for a case to be resolved can seem unnecessarily long.

Pros: We have been using Ultipro successfully in cloud for over 12 years. -We recently started using onboarding and conditional workflow approvals and have been able to go almost 100% paperless. -We have been able to leverage Employee Self Service(via SSO) and modules such Open Enrollment and Life Event to streamline employee benefit elections -Cognos Analytics, is an extremely powerful business intelligence reporting tool that allows us to schedule reports, burst information and set alerts -We were able to use Ultipro's auto-population feature to generate 1095's for ACA Compliance

Cons: -You have a dedicated support rep, but when needed the quality of the Rapid Response support channel can be hit or miss -As a client who has been Ultimate Software for many years, we had to customize a lot to achieve what we wanted, but as new releases come out many of these customs are no longer necessary. Unfortunately, unwinding some of these customs to replace with new core functionality can be a challenge

Comments: Have been a client since 2000, have upgraded from on site to SASS and added UltiPro Time Management. Very happy with this system. Great program. Quick response if you submit a case for any issues you do encounter.

Pros: One stop shop for HRIS and Payroll. End user, employee and manager self service easy to use, many how do I do this embedded at each screen to help users.

Cons: We really do not have much for the Cons - one item is if we report an issue, it is fixed, but we don't always get the what caused the issue, just that it works now.

Intuitive software with excellent support and free training for the lifetime of the product!

Cons: Our company has one timeline for the Performance Management, Merit Increase, and Bonus process. We found that the Performance Management, Salary Planning and Compensation Management products are more plug and play. We hope with future releases the software can be more flexible.

Comments: Overall I enjoy working with the Ultimate products. Their is a lot of functionality with the system and is easy for the end user

Pros: It is user friendly for the end user. On the systems admin side, not so much. I find that some things that are not customizable but should be. Hard coding fields is so 1990's.

Cons: New features are not tested at all levels. For example, the new phone app came out and ee's who use the phone to clock in and out were not able to submit their timecard at the end of the payroll period. Attestation was upgraded and was signing the ee timecard when the ee did not submit- that's a big issue

Pros: I love that UltiPro does not require a technical guru to set up and configure the system. I have little knowledge of IT functions and can easily configure the system to the needs of our company.

Comments: Even with slow customer service, I would highly recommend the software and service to anyone!

Pros: Coming from another software provider, I have UltiPro to be much more intuitive while providing easier functionality/use.

Cons: Customer service is slow to respond when submitting a case online. Can sometimes take up to two days to get a response.

After 20 years of using Ultipro Back Office, we are still extremely happy with the product.

Comments: We are looking forward to using the Ultipro web portal in the near future.

Pros: Their technical and customer support are excellent. They keep up with constantly changing payroll laws so we don't have to.

Cons: There are some annoying things about the way the product works in Back Office. For example, how you change from one employee to another during the payroll process is cumbersome. Also, when having to do repetitive things on several employees each time you save what you've done on one employee, the tree collapses so you have to, again, choose the deduction code from the tree, for the next employee.

Pros: UltiPro is very user friendly products. It is really easy to process payrolls comparing to other payroll systems. They also have a great customer support.

Cons: UltiPro is great that constantly keeps improving, so it is really hard to find any cons. One that can be improve is more customer support around year end.

Pros: I like the support we get with rapid response they always are very helpful and stay on the line to make sure everything is working as it should

Pros: I like that UltiPro is a one stop shop for employee's HR needs. Overall the product is good. I like that the core feeds into all and since we use it as a resource for Recruiting, Onboarding, etc. it's great that everything is linked.

Pros: 1. I find Ultipro to be very user friendly for both admins and our employees. 2. The ability to import one time earnings into the payroll gateway saves a ton of time. 3. By having Ulitpro file our taxes for us, we are able to save time. 4. Their customer service is amazing. When something is urgent, I get it resolved within an hour, at most.

Cons: 1. I feel Ultimate time management feels not quite as user friendly as core. i'm excited to see the changes for the release in 2019. 2. FMLA tracking doens't exist which causes us to use an external application to track. At Connections they just came out with a fix for this, so I"m xcited for that.e

Pros: We use all modules UltiPro has to offer. It's great to have all the pieces working together seamlessly. Since they offer so many modules, you have complete integration from one to the next. It's so much easier than having to export from one system and import to another or maintain multiple databases.

Cons: Because it's so big, it can be hard to understand how all the pieces fit together. It requires some pretty focused training up front and then continuous learning as you continue to grow in the system.

I really loved this HRIS system. It was innovative and kind of a one stop shop.

Pros: I loved being able to keep payroll and other human resource information in the same system. I also loved being able to post jobs and gather applications from this resource.

Cons: The worst part about this system was the changeover and start up. The customer service was not great and it seemed like the turnover for that company during our transition was really high and a lot of communication was lost.

Overall: I loved the experience of launching a different HRIS system and I really appreciated having so much information all in one system.

Pros: Ultipro has capacity to store lots of information and run multiple functions within the HR department. It can track hours, goals, performance evaluation, pay, etc. It is user friendly and the reporting aspect is great. The software is easy to navigate. Great customer support. This is a fantastic software to manage all employee benefits, especially since I am a 1-person department and manage all of the finance and HR for my business.

Cons: The PTO calculation and rollover isn't the best. Especially with the new Sick/Safe leave act, I have been relying solely on ADP, our payroll software to track all PTO and leave. It is easy enough and since the hours need to be on the pay stubs anyway, it saves me a step. The performance evaluations are cumbersome to my users because the goals must be manually changed each year, they do not automatically carry-forward from year-to-year.

I prefer Trinet. Here are some things to think about

Pros: Ultipro has the ability to store lots of information. It has a function to track resource hours, goals, performance, and pay features.

Pros: Ultipro has the type of versatility and customization features needed for small and large companies alike. It's highly customizable so that you can use it for all of your HRIS needs. What I like most about Ultipro is the integration across multiple facets. Your employees' files are stored electronically and the permissions you give the employees allow you to use the system to track and approve changes to position, title, pay, benefits and employees can change their address and names, all electronically.

Cons: Ultipro's customer service is probably the worst feature as getting anything changed or having to troubleshoot issues can take more time than you have, especially within a large corporation.

Pros: The app! The mobile app is great. I also really enjoy doing employee reviews directly in UltiPro. It is very easy to request time off.

Cons: When we merged companies I still had two instances in the system so that function was not seamless. The support team was not the greatest in squaring this away.

Pros: This software can be used to help with ongoing employee learning and training development. It also helps with the recruitment of new employees and bringing them onboard.

Cons: You cannot check the real time processing of payroll until that period has been processed. Thus, only once the pay period has been processed can you then check real time results.

Overall: The benefits that you get from this software is that it helps with various human resources functions and this comes in handy when you have a small human resources department.

Comments: Overall, Ultipro is a pretty solid software and it is an extremely vital tool that adds great value to companies looking for payroll and other Human resources solutions.

Pros: Ultipro does a great job to not only provide solutions for a company's payroll but is an extremely helpful and intuitive tool for managing employee benefits and showing pay history, PTO balances, tax forms all in one place.

Cons: One of the downsides of Ultipro is that it sometimes the way it is configured in such that the information it is providing is not real time and is contingent on when the time sheets are actually posted to the accounting system. An employee does not have the ability to check real time pay history or tax information unless that period is completely processed.

Pros: UltiPro is very easy to use and accessible from every web browser. It has many options to 'turn on' for administrators and employees find their view very easy to navigate. When I've needed to contact customer support, they have been help. There is a useful tool called the 'Learning Center' that answers many trouble shooting questions people have had in the past.

Cons: In the 'Recruitment Gateway' (ATS portion), it can be tedious to manually forward each candidate to the a hiring manager. It would be very helpful if there were an option to select multiple candidates to forward on to a hiring manager.
Additionally, the app version of UltiPro is very limited. We have not turned on this feature, as the customization options are (currently) extremely limited.

I use UltiPro software regularly to submit and manage my PTO requests and monitor my pay.

Pros: This software allows me to easily access information about benefits I receive from the company I work for. I find it simple and easy to use and navigate.

Cons: I think the software would benefit from an update to its layout. I don't like that the menu is a tiny drop down. I think it would be better if it displayed all the menu options along a left navigation panel.

Pros: Finally out pay stubs are available from a SAAS model. Mobile app is quite nice as well. Easy to reset passwords from the portal.

Cons: The reset password options are brutal for out users. They are required to remember challenge questions regardless of reset method. We reset 100s of account each week.

Pros: I do like the report writing functionality compared to other systems. I also see that they are trying to update the look of the front office to make it more user friendly.

Cons: The response time when submitting a ticket is horrible and the amount of customs required to maintain a system is not adequate. We were looking at the new onboarding module and it has less functionality than the previous version. Doesn't make sense to me.

Overall: It made processing requests from the field a lot easier to manage and keep track of.

Easy to use, great customer support. Company is always looking at ways to improve and update.

Pros: All of your HRIS info in one spot. Easy to locate and add documentation. Graphs, reports and so much more. In the process of implementing onboarding to make the experience easier for new hires.

Cons: Would like to use other features and programs. The cost is a little high. Have not been able to get upper management onboard yet. Will keep trying.

Overall: Being able to put all of our employee information into one system is fantastic. We are able to run reports, input training as well as confidential paperwork. Paperless is so much easier than keeping track or loosing the info. The programmer's are always looking at ways to improve the system and add more features.

Comments: Be skeptical of everything. There's a reason why I get offered more sporting event tickets, private movie screenings, and various other events from UltiPro, than I receive from any other vendor. They know they're awful and they try to make it up to you by schmoozing so you give them a good reference when a potential client wants to reach out. I have declined 95% of their invitations because not only are they in the middle of a workday, my workload has increased due to project managing their work. Have a forensic attorney read your agreement and no matter what UltiPro says, they will negotiate. Make sure every single detail is in your agreement or you will absolutely be screwed post-live. UltiPro will tell you they do not include service level agreements in their contracts and that is not true. They will hold you to the agreement only when it suits them but definitely not when it screws the customer.

Pros: People get paid, the reports are great, managers find it easy to use, rapid response folks are helpful in a pinch, and it's nice the same service rep stays with you from case opening to close.

Cons: The customer is always wrong, you will pay for EVERYTHING, don't count on your original sales agreement to actually hold up, you will need to beg to change your Customer Relationship Manager at least once (don't let them tell you it's not an option), implementation is at least 100x more difficult and time consuming than the salespeople claim it will be, developing interface files with your vendors will take 6 months and you will project manage the work, and you will be seriously oversold on how fabulous this product is...which is basically what every payroll platform will do but these salespeople seemed more extra than others.

Pros: I like how easy it is to post positions, search through candidates. The onboarding was all electronic, and really simple for employees to understand and sign. I love the fact that each employee gets a log in, and can access all of their information.

Cons: With the employee logins, if someone forgot their password, it was nearly impossible get it reset without contacting several different people.

Pros: Lots of great features for the organization for the money. The ability to perform multiple HR tasks in a single solution is a plus.

Cons: Service and support seem to be struggling. Upgrades are difficult and understanding where you are at in the process is cumbersome.

We use ultipro to manage employee records and time. It's useful for managing compliance as well.

Pros: I love how I can request time off, I can clock in and out, also look at my pay history and hours worked over the course of my time at my job. The reporting feature makes for very easy and streamlined way to see how much vacation time you still have left and how much you've accrued.

Cons: Sometimes it locks you out and so we have to fill out manual sheets. This is probably the only con I can think of as it's a really good database.

Overall: It is quick and easy for timekeeping and for time off requests.

Pros: I am a fan of the extensive reporting ability available through BI. The Ultipro Core also offers pretty good user functionality. Ulti University and the Customer Success portal offer great education resources to grow in your familiarity with the software.

Cons: Ultipro Recruiting has been frustrating to work with. The forwarding options for applications are time consuming, and the candidate experience overall is disappointing.

Makes checking out your pay/pay history SO easy.

Pros: UltiPro is about the easiest HCM software's to use. I've been using it for over 3 years now and I truly enjoy how intuitive it is. We recently began using the UltiPro App (on my iPhone) and it's such an simple process to request time off and check pay history.

Cons: The company hierarchy functionality seems to be a bit lacking, but not bad at all. It's still one of my favorite features.

Comments: If it was a lower cost option it would be great, but paying more for a buggy, non-intuitive interface does not make sense

Pros: The interface looks nice and simple to use. Lots of easy access to functions, though to get the actual information is a little tricky and not as intuitive as you would think. LOTS of features, but unless you have an army of people to utilize them, they will just be wasted money. Web access is stable. Time keeping is very good for approval, but lacks a lot of basic rules for rounding.

Cons: Lots of errors encountered during routine things like vacation. Even after a customer support call, it was not resolved - leaving a pending vacation request in limbo that is a year old. Even finding basic information - like how many vacation days does a person have left is a cumbersome process, or even how many they used. It's a hidden menu that makes no sense. The biggest con is that it looks like it should be a lower cost software, but ends up costing more than ADP without the reliability or expertise

Pros: This software allows the user to access all their HR needs in one location (company forms, career items, time management, pay and benefits).

Cons: The functionality of this software is not user-friendly. For example, when I have a "To Do", it pops up on my home page, however when I click on it - it doesn't take me to that item, it takes me to another page entirely and I have to go to a different link to access my to-do. Everything I need should be available to me on my home page and it's not.

Overall: The benefit of accessing all HR items in one place.

Pros: When it works, it's fine. I just swipe my employee badge on the (add-on) scanner and I'm in. .

Cons: If you forget your password and need help, the HR department (in my case anyway) is the P.O.C. on that -- not your company's tech support department. You are basically screwed if you forget your password. I can't even file my tax returns (now going into year 2!!) all because I can't remember my password. This is a huge single point of failure with this tool.

Resetting password process is a nightmare!

Comments: I am 40 and have degrees and a license. Its ok to allow me to reset my own password. if you aren't waiting until XMAS, for the administrator to get the password reset, I see my check stub before deposit hits the bank.

Cons: Having to get in touch with the administrator to reset the password is ridiculous. No one does this. Please make it stop.

Used this for 5 years at a restaurant company. It was a great solution for payroll and for hiring.

Pros: There is a million things you can do on Ulti Pro. There are plenty of canned reports that I find useful as well as the ability to create your own reports based on your specific company needs. Customer service is excellent.

Cons: At times, it can be difficult to navigate through. There is so much information and tools that it can be hard to sort through. I will say although the customer service is great, the ulti pro university training page is hard to know what you want to sign up for and when. There are tours or actually online courses you can take but it is not very clear what you are signing up for.
