Be sure to also save your document in a cloud backup for more safety, and Foxit Reader will ensure that you can do this. I never use anything else unless I have to. Pros It's the only software that seems like it's innovating in this space. In terms of PDF softwares, there aren't many that are doing anything new. Foxit is easy to use, gives plenty of markup tools, has docu-sign, and a great interface. Cons Nothing at the moment! I just wish that the text to speech software was available on macOS. Currently, it's only for Windows users. Sometimes the print option isn't as intuitive as the default though. I have become very familiar with the interface and when changing applications it is sometimes difficult for me to find the options. Pros It is a free and lightweight program that does a very good job and that until now has not brought me compatibility problems. Foxit can also run scripts without problems and brings interesting security options. It is an application that occupies much less space than other alternatives and includes features such as bookmarks, PDF signatures, comments and different forms of visualization. It also integrates Microsoft Office and Evernote. Cons Foxit has a very nice interface, but with an overwhelming amount of options that adds unnecesary difficulty to the software. Sometimes the updates that are made to the software bring more problems than solutions. Sometimes the application has stopped and I had to restart Foxit. Review Source Aruna J. The documents can be shared among the team as a pdf format helps to identify formatting errors. It opens larger files very quickly. Overall experience if a bit similar to Microsoft products. Pros The major functionality that I am interested in is the collaborative reading of PDF, we can annotate, share and collaboratively take others idea about the document. The next great thing is security. We can encrypt the file and send it to others. We can sign the documents using either own signature of using an eSignature. The interface is a bit similar to the Microsoft toolbar. A nice responsive application where it keeps tracks of previously opened documents. Cons It is a great pdf reader which is very responsive. Optical character recognition seems to have few issues. Other than that it is a great tool. Foxit reader is fast and efficient. I do not think normal users like me need more than free version. If you need solution for a group, then try Foxit Phantom if you can, and you will not be disappointed. Pros This software is simple and to the point. You will know how to use it right from beginning. I usually used Adobe software to read Pdf, but after discovering foxit reader, I never come back. This software is also light ,fast and to be updated regularly. It also has foxit editor online for you to edit your pdf. Foxit Drive is a bonus point. Cons Usually I need to read 2 pdf documents in 2 separate monitors, but I can't do so with foxit reader. As the software feature set has grown, I find that I use Foxit nearly every day. Unfortunately, I have poor penmanship. With the increased use of smart phones, portable computers and tables, writing has become even more less frequent in my life. To make my "filled out" documents, like medical history forms or applications easier to deal with I use Foxit Reader's commenting features. I love the signature option for signing secure PDFs that won't let you e-sign. Keep up the great work Foxit! Pros Great feature set, ability to fill PDF forms and "Type" onto non-pdf forms. The ability to markup forms with text boxes, arrows and shapes. Ability to apply signatures to documents. Cons There is a bug with the save feature which causes the mouse to shoot to the bottom of the screen. The "default" saving location is "Foxit Cloud". It has a collection of tools which covers all ranges of pdf editing-related needs. Pros The note-taking and annotation parts really help out in making revisions and further documentation of the process or extra explanation. The conversion tool is amazing and can convert any type of file to pdf. Another thing I love is the simple UI. You can instinctually understand and use each of the tools, and it's easy to find what you need. Signing any document is easy, and it looks natural. Not to mention you can access the files from any device you want, so I can also easily add my signature using my mobile when I'm travelling or busy. Adding documents after another is also simple and quick. Cons I don't have any major issues with the tool. So me and the realtor did it all through email. And the only way we could get a legit signature was an online software. Foxit wasn't my first choice DocuSign was what a disappointment. Foxit was my second choice and not a disappointment at all we got all the paperwork signed and dated and we close on the house Friday.
