I spent weeks entering my recipes and items (fresh product and hard goods) in the software, getting everything customized, and setting up payments via the Stripe integration. I did my first proposal and it worked beautifully and I was all in. Then I realized that the event thresholds for pricing weren’t by month but in total. So, yes, the initial cost is only $25 per month but once you use it to go over 10 events total the price skyrockets to $150 per month which just isn’t feasible when your a newer small business who isn’t making thousands of dollars in profit every month. Admittedly it was my mistake in misunderstanding the pricing structure, but paying more than $50 a month for proposal software just doesn’t make sense for me. Other than that I really did enjoy it and think it would be an awesome option for larger florists. I’m back to HoneyBook, Every Stem and Canva (yes, all 3 are still much cheaper than $150 a month). Pros Beautiful proposals, allows you to store your recipes, inspo pics, and update pricing on items. Contract and invoicing integration. That’s the name of the game. How fast can I whip out this proposal but stilll have an end product that sells my ideas for me. Pros I love that you are able to create a one of a kind proposal that perfectly fits any size wedding or any style event. So fast and so easy but looks like you spent hours doing it. Pros Love that this cuts so much of my work out by auto pulling from the worksheet and creating the proposal. Before this I could spend hours putting a recipe sheet together and then doing the proposal as well and making sure everything matches with the purchase orders. With this it's all in one and I don't need to go and check everything all the time to make sure the changes went through all my paperwork, if I did it in one spot then the system changes it in all the other spots. Cons The cost per proposal template and the software is pretty high, especially when seeing other higher end florists use canva for their proposals. It is helpful but I think it could be more streamlined. Cons I would like to flexibility to customize the proposals so they do not look like the proposals from other florists using the software. I am not impressed with some of the templates (maybe I am not using them to make mine look unique) I would not pay for the ones from high end florists which cost a lot of money. The little hiccups that I have had the support staff has been on top of the problem. Pros I like the setting up my own recipes. The look and being able to change templates for different Brides. All the info that the Bride sees when they get their proposal. Cons I would love to be able to see the address where the flowers will be delivered to, not just the venue location. I also love that I can create recipes and keep track of my stem usage to not go over budget on an event.
