It has helped me book many events because of how beautifully it is presented to the customer and how professional it looks. I also like being able to see what my costs are right away and to know how much I should charge. Cons I don't like having to manually save everything little thing that I change. I am not sure how to use the new design boards. Also, the color palettes for flowers is not set up very well. Like when I put in for something orange and pink flowers show up. July 9, 2018 5.0 Better profits, ease of closing sales, couples love it! Pros This software allows us to show our couples what the flowers look like, giving them a great visual and understanding of the overall look. It does all the pricing for us! Although it takes me a bit of time upfront (I'm still a little slow at it...) it saves me SO much time on the back end it's unreal! Plus no more calculation errors. And more profit!! Our couples love it as well, and I have closed many sales without ever meeting the couples... Customer service is fantastic! They take note of your suggestions, and even tell you if your ideas are already in the works. Cons At first, it seemed a little "buggy" with odd things happening. Pros Love that this cuts so much of my work out by auto pulling from the worksheet and creating the proposal. Before this I could spend hours putting a recipe sheet together and then doing the proposal as well and making sure everything matches with the purchase orders. With this it's all in one and I don't need to go and check everything all the time to make sure the changes went through all my paperwork, if I did it in one spot then the system changes it in all the other spots. Owner Events Services Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "It only gets better with time!" August 16, 2018 5.0 Stick with it! There is a learning curve and setting it all up takes time. Once you get through loading all your settings and photo's, and tweaking the content to your personal preferences, this tool is a dream come true! The customer service is outstanding! She has basically held my hand as I learn the ropes, and could not be nicer if she tried. I caught a small wording on an email that was a bit confusing and they fixed it in 24 hours. The responsiveness is really just terrific. The investment is very reasonable and once you see all the features and all the future updates they plan, it's really a high-value tool. I could not see myself continuing to run my business piecemeal with MS Office and a calculator, this software will allow me to stay on top of proposals that used to take me hours, ordering, and even track rentals and act as a CRM as well! Pros The customer support and the time it saves me! Oh and not having to do math anymore! This does all of that for me and gives me peace of mind that I'm not under/over pricing or ordering. I'm having fun putting the proposal together and I could never say that before! Cons Anything I would say here is already being addressed in near future updates, more customization and integration with quick books. May 11, 2020 5.0 Whenever I have any problems or questions, I can immediately get a hold of someone and they take care of things immediately. So helpful! Pros I love the time that Details has saved me when creating customized quote for my brides. For years I was pricing out the same pinterest pictures over and over and now I can just pop it into the quote without a second thought because I have done the math once! Cons When I started using the software, I could only use it for weddings and not events as well. I believe they are working on this feature and if it's not ready yet, will be soon. Pros I like how it breaks all of the “details” of my event down into recipes and delivery info, etc. I like that The contract info is written out for me and how clean and simple the contract is. Cons I wish that it had more flower selections available and I don’t really like the new catalog or resources set up. I prefer the old way. I also hate that I have to constantly save before I exit out of my worksheet even if I didn’t make any changes. Or I’ll save it and then I move my mouse up to go to a different section and it makes me save it again. December 11, 2018 5.0 All inquiries, leads, proposals and payment records are in one single platform. We were previously using Excel, Google Docs, other online accounting software and payment tools. We can easily predict floral costs, markups and profitability. This has been KEY for us in running our business better than we ever have before. We are relatively new users and absolutely loving it! Pros Very easy to use - and fun to "play" in! The proposal is already 90% formatted and only requires quick tweaks and image uploads to personalize for each client. Can work to generate quick proposals or very detailed ones with floral recipes, markups, etc. depending on what you need. The training and the availability of support personnel to answer questions or schedule one on one sessions is fantastic. It also seems like Details' staff continuously works to make improvements and updates to the software. Excited to see where things are headed and what other features will be added in the new year. Cons This is all internet based so must have a stable connection in order to perform work (sometimes seems to "Freeze" or get stuck for me, but may be my Internet). Intended for use on a laptop or desktop - not easy to navigate on mobile. Hoping that in the future, orders for same weekends/delivery dates can be automatically combined into a single quote request to the wholesaler. Pros This software helps me run my business! It keeps track of financials and does all of the calculating for me. It’s the most help thing that I have for my business. I think that if you’ve been remember for a while there should be some kind of discount but I also know that it takes time and money to run this type of software. Feel like it makes us look more professional and clients are really impressed with the layout. Pros We really like that when you are creating a recipe for arrangements the stem counts are produces for easy ordering. Also, like how everything is detailed and broken down for our client. Cons Wish we could use image gallery to pull from to create new recipes for proposals. Would like the cost of the flowers to be more accurate. Pros Every single customer is blown away by how thorough and gorgeous these proposals are. I lobe that I can integrate clients images and self selected inspiration images into each line item. I’m also really confident in my pricing as the software allows for speedy consistency. Cons I’m not sure that I love the interface of the new flower finder, inventory search screen. I’ve also not been able to simply shoot orders over to my local wholesaler as they are not listed as an option. " September 25, 2018 5.0 For a person who struggles with technology and avoided the proposal side of my operation, Details has given me the tools to complete the proposal process from start to finish. I am now able to task my team members with other vital jobs. Details has increased my workflow, confidence and has given my business new tools to stay ahead of the game. Pros After writing the recipes I found myself stuck in a place where i was dependent on my team to complete the proposal process. I wasn’t proficient in excell and other softwares we were using to develop the create proposals. I felt like I wasn’t pulling my weight on the back the house side of things. Details gave me independence and confidence and I am now able to completed the entire proposal process by myself. My team can now focus on other responsibilities to keep our operation running smoothly. Cons With anything new there will always be a learning curve. However, the team at Details is on it. April 28, 2020 5.0 My overall experience has been pleasant! It's a small enough company that you get person-to-person assistance and the learning curve has been fairly smooth. Love being able to streamline things like contracts/signing, payments and floral purchasing. It helps a lot. Pros Love the ability to offer a visual proposal that clients enjoy as well as streamlining flower ordering. It adapts well to our non-floral products, also! Cons As a negative and having used different software in the past, I can say that there are some features that Details does not offer yet. On the upside, it seems to be a progressive company, listening and trying to implement new features and upgrades as it goes. That's nice....a product that is not left to sit and become stale. Cons While I find it mostly very easy to use, I do feel there are features that are missing or could be improved. There are various aspects of the worksheet and proposal that I wish I had more control over and could customize. Pros I love how it keeps everything organized and calculates all of my stems needed. Cons I'm sure there is a way to do this but I wish I could save recipes for future use so I can use the same recipe for future events. There might be a way to do this but I don't know how.
