May 9, 2018 5.0 Pros Once set up correctly it saves so much time creating quotes allowing me to get on with the hands on aspects of the job. Details creates beautiful proposals that are visual to non visual clients. It keeps all information on each job in one place. I love the recipes section in which you can hand staff and creating order sheets for suppliers. Cons I would love a section for Grooms address delivery. A section in which you can enter which staff is working on each jobs and even totalling their hours worked. I would like the costs page to tally how many bunches are needed as well as the stem count as we order per bunch from the growers/ suppliers. The pipeline management is also becoming a favorite - and of course the efficient costs pages. All of the features are valuable. Cons Like any software, it is only as good as the info you provide to it. It was a bit cumbersome to setup, but we are an established company of 20+ years, so we had a lot of inventory to include. The time saved is really priceless so I can focus on what I do best which is closing sales and designing flowers for special moments. The overall design in visually appealing and I believe the Details software has played a big role in being able to close new projects. Cons There currently is not an option to modify text font style or adjust photo images within the template. Previously, I had the flower order on one download (google docs), an agreement download, and then a receipt. So three items to attach and for the client to download. This is much more cleaner looking and less work! Pros I feel so much more professional and organized with the presentation for my clients. The papers are crisp and clean looking and easy to read! Cons The cost page when ordering flowers is difficult to estimate the true cost of my floral supplies. When gathering quotes, I receive the costs of how many stems I need. Not the true cost of per the bunch my wholesaler bills me. So I never have a true quote from my wholesaler when using Details. I love being able to save recipes from past arrangements and track my costs with ease. It’s also nice having all the proposals in one place that I can easily look back on. The sales team is not pushy and they are very informative and know the software as well as the ever changing floral event business. The training is superb and works well with my schedule. Pros This software has been a game changer for me. It is the professional front that I was searching for. I am booking more weddings and larger weddings. I am saving so much time in developing proposals and keeping up with payments compared to what I was doing. I highly recommend Details and sing their praises any chance I get. Cons 1) That I cannot further crop or adjust images when adding them to the proposal. 2) When I am adding in photos to the proposal, it takes multiple clicks to go from adding images to item images or inspiration images. There are still a few kinks (that might actually just be me not knowing everything yet) to work out but it has saved me SO much time! I used to work on weddings AFTER a full day in the flower shop and work easily until midnight. With Details I can get my work done (mostly) during the work day and I don't have to use up my down time! Pros I love the visual aspect and the ease of use. Cons Some of the recipes don't save or the flowers that you put into a bouquet don't show up when you try to create the proposal. I like the ability to easily amend the contract terms...especially now with COVID 19. Online signing is a great feature. Pros The ability to showcase a floral design look for the client.
