August 14, 2023 5.0 Pros At Julius, the application is easy to use, and furthermore, the numerous data collected are easy to analyze. Cons The least liked aspect of Julius is the limited number of influencers in Switzerland, even though the platform promptly adds requested influencers. During global searches, influencer results could still be further optimized. Reason for choosing Julius I chose Julius because of its proximity to contacts; in case of issues, we can quickly communicate with someone who assists us. Requests are promptly answered, and influencer information is regularly updated. The platform also provides data on influencers that other sites do not offer. August 9, 2023 5.0 I don't know what I would do without Julius, I use it on a daily basis. It gives me access to so much data to ensure the influencers we work with are aligned to the organisation and our target audience, and it helps me keep track of our influencer relationships and campaigns, and the impact our influencers are having. The account management team at Julius also make the platform what it is - they are responsive, helpful and always go above and beyond to answer questions, solve problems or help. Pros Julius is very user friendly and easy to understand and use. I use Julius on a daily basis. If I come across an influencer who looks like they have potential, it only takes me 2 minutes to find them on Julius, and quickly check whether they and their audience align to our organisation. When I am properly prospecting for a campaign, the search functionality on Julius is extremely easy to use, and I am able to create lists of 50 influencers in half a day. When doing out due dilignece on them, the audience insights and content library sections with keyword searching are extremely useful and speed up the due diligence process, and help us to ensure we have not missed something. The campaign tracking feature is extremeley useful and has automated the tracking process for me. I like that even if I forget to set a campaign up before content goes live, I can always plug it in later to get accurate results.The list functionality is also used on a daily basis, as I use it to keep track of all the influencers working with our organisation across 50+ countries to ensure there are no duplications. I also use the lists for prospecting which is extremely helpful. Cons Julius is designed for English-speaking markets, and has a great selection of influencers in USA, UK, Australia etc. It is much harder to find a wide variety of influencers in other markets, and this could be improved. However this is not unique to Julius and it is the same across most digital influencer platforms (Western-focused). Sometimes there are issues with campaign tracking data, however the team is always swift to help fill in any data gaps and fix any issues. The tool itself hits all the points - search, tracking, ability to add additional influencers to the platform, cross-sharing with agency logins, client-facing list links. It has been a great program for our team and has helped with building efficiency across the board. Cons Our biggest issues are with the platforms themselves and some of the access the give third-party systems like Julius, which can make some things more difficult (example: having influencers fill out an approval to grab their IG Story analytics). We brag about this tool constantly to our clients and internal team members. This is the best influencer tool I have used in 10 years of professional social media and creator work. Pros We love the vetting ability. This is what we use the tool for the most. Whether we find a creator organically (Google, TikTok, Instagram, or through another department) we need a way to vet these people and Julius does a great job of this. Cons For what we need, US Hispanic creators in very specific industries, we find the "search" feature to be challenging and limited. The UI is straightforward, and it truly couldn't be easier for me to do talent discovery, use the various filters, etc. to find top talent for various campaigns. Cons Sometimes I'm served influencers whose following counts, ERs, or locations are inaccurate, and about 20% of results have outdated links or "page not found" when reviewing the influencer. Decisions are made based on target market, reach, pricing, and athlete interests. Julius helps me greatly in all of these categories. The customer service team has been awesome as well. There have been a few instances where we had a really quick turnaround on getting an athlete added to Julius, and they worked with me to get those added before their usual turnaround time which is going above and beyond. Pros I love the ability to apply filters to reach a very specific target market. Julius is so helpful in this process. Specific parts of the software that I really enjoy include the agent contact information, follower demographics, and the ability to see a bio on the athlete as well as ailments and interests. Cons I would love a feature that allowed for easier calculations with age for target market. Julius breaks down the target markets >16, 17-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-49, and 50+. This is great, except if I want to know how many followers the athlete has under the age of 35, I grab a calculator and add up the first 5 groups. If you work at a large company or have users that work in separate places, Julius is great for influencer/campaign organization and setting up process and protocols with cross-functional teams. Pulling and sharing data is also very seamless, and could be pulled quickly and easily. There are also tons of options in the search filters which can narrow the field and make it easier for discovery. Cons Reporting customization is a work in progress. They offer standardize reports now, which are great, but they ability to customize how we see fit is currently not available. Right now it is a desktop friendly product and do not have a mobile application. More of a personal preference probably, but an app would certainly make it easier to search, share and analyze data on the go. The influencer search and vetting criteria are top-notch. I also like that the team hand-vets them prior to putting into the system - so not just anyone can add an influencer. You're also able to see examples of work they've produced for other brands. Cons We currently use the tool for the early stages of influencer scouting, then outsource the comms to an external PR agency. Due to the cost of the tool, we've limited the # of users who can access the platform, but ideally we'd love to have our PR agency access HYPR to do comms directly from the platform. Pros The sheer amount of influencers on the platform, the ease of having influencers added thanks to the incredible team, audience insights to prove ROI and ensure influencers will be able to reach a client's target audience. The ability to pull a list of relevant influencers and share that list externally within minutes makes pitching and scoping influencer campaigns much more efficient. It is a great full service tool to keep influencer campaigns organized and measurable. Pros The level of detail provided about the influencers and their audiences is extremely helpful when planning influencer campaigns. It gives our PR agency’s clients confidence that they will get a good value for their money. The tool is very easy to use. I can pull a list of qualified influencers in 60 seconds. Cons The quantity and diversity of influencers should be a focus for the platform to keep it competitive. I often do a search for a local influencer or a niche interest topic and have very few options. It is not the best for B2B due to limitations with LinkedIn. I primarily use this software to cast influencer partners for brand partnership campaigns. My clients appreciated the clean design and detailed demographic information. If I wanted to have a potential partner added to the network, Julius customer support turned the request around ASAP, typically much faster than the support ticket estimated time. Cons The search function could be easier to use. Topics vs. Interest is confusing. I also found many errors on profiles - for example, an influencer who was Female would be under Male, an influencer who was White would be under Hispanic. We utilize that communication with "can you do this" questions all the time and our account lead goes through demos with us to make sure we understand how to execute. They will even set up campaigns for us as needed to make sure we are set for success. Cons We do have to be strategic about limited users for Julius but just upped our logins in the renewal!
