For our workflow, where large numbers of custom videos are generated automatically and then need to be hosted and embedded reliably, Sprout Video has worked very well. The service is easy enough to use once the correct setup is in place, performance has been good, and the platform provides the flexibility we need without forcing us into a much more expensive tier. The combination of reliable hosting, API capability, useful connector options, good customer support, and sensible pricing makes it a service we are very happy with. Pros Sprout Video has been a very good fit for our API-driven video automation workflow. We use it to host hundreds of custom videos generated automatically through our content pipeline, and the ability to control and manage those videos through the API has been particularly valuable. The platform offers a wide range of connection options and flexible ways to embed and manage video content across different scenarios. For our use case, this flexibility was one of the strongest parts of the service. Customer support was also excellent. The support team understood what we needed, even when we had not fully defined the technical requirement ourselves, and they were able to guide us towards the correct setup. Cons The main challenge was identifying the right connector and setup approach for our specific use case. Because Sprout Video offers so many options, it took more live testing than expected to confirm the correct route. When coaching kids it allows parents to watch from anywhere. I was recently working with a young kid and his grandparents in India were able to watch Cons Nothing major at the moment that I can think of. I haven’t had any issues. The website is fairly easy to use. Pros Great way to upload videos to use on third party websites. Customer service is nice and the price isn’t too high. Cons Everything has been good so far. I haven’t had any issues in the three months I’ve been a subscriber to Sprouts Video.
