I needed a place to host my videos that was ad-free, easy to share on social media, and easy to embed in my website. And of course, I wanted my videos to stream flawlessly and not have any issues with compression or poor quality. Sprout checks all of these boxes, and so much more. Their customer service is outstanding — knowledgeable, quick to reply, and patient. Although Sprout offers a robust array of features for larger businesses with more complex needs, they’ve been the perfect solution for me. I really love that even though I’m a single user with basic account, I still get awesome service. I was hooked! What makes this even better is the reasonable cost and the fabulous, quick, helpful customer service I receive EVERY time I have a question. Technology like this can be challenging and Sprout has been the perfect answer for me. A software that offers me exactly what I need AND makes it easy for me to understand without charging me an arm and a leg gets my business every time. Thank you Sprout and team! Just works...they sure know what they are doing. And yes, their blog is VERY PRACTICAL, if you need help to get your videos done right. Pros Simple to use, mobile friendly and never have to wait for a video to start playing. Quality, compared to size is SUPER. Also, we liked that we could use it for company procedures. Like the metrics and control over the players. That's SUPER GREAT. Integrating sproutvideo's api was easy and allowed ua to offer a really competitive solution in our target markets. Pros Really easy to use but, at the same time, highly customizable, sproutvideo offers the backend services needed to deploy a corporate video delivery system in no time. It abstracts the complexities needed to run a "private toutube", and does that with great success, plus its really comptetitive pricing made choosing sproutvideo a no-brainer, competitors don't get close. Cons Nothing really, everything works as intended, analytics are great, cdn is fast... The only thing I wish is that they introduced live video... but that's another thing. Review Source EO Elias O. Uploads are quick and easy, editing video permissions is easy, and sharing videos is super easy too. The password feature is great. Cons No complaints. The site is everything I needed and more. I like the filing and folder structure which means I can organise videos in a way that makes sense. I was using a more well known video hosting platform prior to this and much prefer SproutVideo.. the customer service has been responsive and helpful when I wanted advice about customisation, the analytic and broadband usage analytics are good. It’s been a really positive transition and I’m pleased I changed to Sprout Video. Cons All good so far. Pros I first registered on sproutvideo to integrate videos on my Website. I liked the fact that the web player was unbranded and would autoplay on smart devices. After that I came to use it for video delivery and I love the fact that you can have your very own video website and deliver your content with your branding on it unlike other services such as vimeo and youtube. You can also deliver your file in various format which are automatically generated which is also a very cool feature in my opinion. You can set privacy settings and a lot of other cool options which makes it very relevant for video delivery. Very happy with this service! Cons The only thing that could stop a user is that its price is higher than other services. But I would definitely recommend it over Vimeo for instance (if you don't need the social features of Vimeo which are not include at all in Sproutvideo). Review Source LG Loren G. We use other services that provide some of the features Sprout offers, but none combine all of them in one package. Perhaps the most valuable features are those around playlist creation and customization. I record the webinars because we include 90 days access to the recordings with paid registrations. We also sell the recordings to those who didn't participate in the live webinar. We store the recordings on SproutVideo and have been doing so for about two years. Pros: 1. the software is easy to use and consistently works. I have never had a client complaint about it. I can set up access to recordings in various ways that meet my needs 2. support is exemplary. There have been a few times I've had questions and I have always been able to get a fast response.
