Pros I like how user friendly it is and that there is a knowledge center to answer any questions I may have. Cons I do not like how long it takes to upload videos. We were transferring videos from one of our Sprout accounts to the other and this took a long time given the upload speed. It does all we need to do and then some. Easy to use, secure, stable, and quite affordable. When vetting Sprout we found that it offered more features for less money than its competitors, and that still holds true. Pros We love how many features are available with this service, especially at the monthly cost. We use this service to securely host member-only videos and it works perfectly for our cause. We couldn't ask for more! Cons We have no complaints with Sprout. This eliminated the ridiculous scrutiny/ads/social aspect of YouTube/Vimeo and gave our clients a professional way to present their videos. The videos are easily shareable, easy to play on any platform (unlike Vimeo), and look great too. Pros Sprout is the perfect balance of video hosting, statistics, and presentation. It presents a value for not only your own biz but also your clients. Cons The one critique is I wish each video could have their own ‘website’ instead of the same for every. I have already recommended them to friends and family. Pros After careful research we selected Sprout Video for both the ease of use and the level of security they offered for each video. Since we sell online courses, it is critical that our content be protected. Sprout Video has provided wonderful protection. Cons After thinking long and hard I really have no complaints. It gives multiple integration options. A very basic tool to use. Customer support is super responsive as well. Cons Tracking - It would be great to have the option to exclude IP addresses from tracking. Right now it skews the data from integration testing. Plus, as mentioned above, I like the access permissions depending on the video. Pros I've been using the software for 3-4 years now to host all of our marketing videos for our website. Very user friendly, easy to navigate and I enjoy the ability to set user access depending on who/how I want to access the videos we store here. Cons Can't think of any. Everything from loading the videos, selecting the configurations, setting the embed code parameters, and embedding the video on your site. No need to worry about uptime or bandwidth; they have it all covered. They also support subtitles in multiple languages. Lastly, their support is the best! Available when we need them and answer our questions promptly. Cons Sometimes the embed codes need a bit of tweaking to work within our websites. April 8, 2019 5.0 Maximizing our brand and connecting with users to share high quality content with relative ease of use. Pros There's a lot of great things here with Sprout Video. I needed a site where I could store multiple videos and share with a select group of people that varies on a weekly basis. The problem I ran into with other services was that I couldn't control access and limit things like number of views, sharing the link and downloads. Sprout Video on the other hand fully captures my business needs and allows me to maximize our brand with complete control over our content. The analytics behind every view is second to none as well! Cons A bit of a higher price tag comes with the subscription, but so far definitely seems to be worth it. One of the sites has approximately 200 videos behind a paywall and the site loads quickly without any buffering issues like we had with Vimeo, plus Vimeo blamed the issues on us, without offering a solution. Sprout was able to explain the issues and offer a solution that does not slow down our site at all. Pros Customer support is outstanding, unlike Vimeo or Wistia you get answers promptly. The ability to embed a lightbox version of your videos is a plus. The software is easy to use and quality is outstanding. Cons I have 2 of my clients using Sprout and we have nothing negative to say.
