Pros

I post a new video each week and I like that it supports all video formats. Additionally I also post longer monthly videos which I then promote through my podcast and website. All of my work is available publicly, but I have also used it to share videos with my family that are private.

Cons

I have very little to say that is negative, but I sometimes get impatient waiting for the video to process, but that may just be me. I post regularly and I then incorporate the content links to my personal website.

Pros

Very easy to use. I like the ability to customize the portal with themes, colors, logos, etc. Analytics are very good too.

Cons

Nothing in particular that I don't like.

Pros

Quick, transparent rollout. Relatively easy to understand interface and API. Very good email support with quick, dependable turnaround.

Pros

Good value for storage (500 GB) needed. Straight-forward set-up using API/tokens to manage uploads from ~1000 users and downloads from ~100 users. I needed a very quick learning curve due to fast-changing customer demands

Cons

Better sorting video metadata (file size, time length) would be very helpful. However, I haven't had the time to dig into its tag and playlist features due to immediate roll-out dates, so these may be covered within the product.

I love how easy it is to use and that there is a replace function on videos you already uploaded so that you don't have to replace links in locations it updates automatically!

Cons

I honestly don't have any gripes. This software has been very useful.

We use SproutVideo to host our videos for a membership site. Their domain filtering allows us to filter which domains the videos can be played from giving us more control over our IP. We haven't used their opt in/marketing features as we have other tools that do that.

Pros

Good amount of video storage for the price point. Easy to embed videos

Cons

Nothing in particular about SproutVideo. I think it offers a good service at a better price point that many competitors.

Pros

Here is what i like about SproutVideo 1) The player loads \*fast\* even on mobile devices. Their player loads much faster than a YouTube embedded video and their Lightbox embed is even faster yet. 2) The videos also load incredibly fast once clicked. 2) The price is great. 3) Customer service is awesome.

Cons

None at this point. I'm perfectly happy.

We are a training and consulting firm and wanted our clients to be able to stream videos for certain lengths of time and NOT be able to download them. After lots of research, trial and error we found the perfect solution in Sprout Video.

Pros

Ease of use, cost, platform, options and customer experience (very easy for clients to use)

Cons

Can take a little bit to upload the videos however it's not too bad. I typically bulk upload them so by the time I am done uploading the last video, the first one is ready to add options.

SproutVideo has been a great tool for our small brand to manage our videos. The platform is very easy to use and provides a large variety of customization and privacy options to customize our videos. I also really like how many statistics are available for each video and how detailed the stats can be. I am not a very video tech savvy person, but I was able to easily learn and use SproutVideo.

Pros

Ease of uploading videos, Breadth of report & statistics, Ability to drill down within statistics, Can password protect videos

Cons

The only issue I experienced with SproutVideo, albeit temporarily, was logging in. For a brief time I was forced to continuously log in when moving about pages, but after a quick chat with their customer service it was resolved.

We use SproutVideo for hosting our webinar replay videos. It is a very comprehensive way to be able to share them on our website as well as in links. We have had a great experience so far!

Pros

It is very easy to upload content and embed them on the company site. Great for those of us that are technically challenged.

Cons

I have been working with sprout for about a year now. I have not been able to check out all of the options available, but one improvement could be when you upload a video it automatically opens to the video page and its settings.

Again, we need the security features that Sprout provides, but I hope to see prices fall. We have been a customer for many years and will continue until others improve domain-specific features.

Pros

We utilize SproutVideo's unique security features to feature videos on domain-specific URLs. We weren't able to use other platforms like Vimeo or YouTube for this.

Cons

SproutVideo is expensive and their tiers keep changing. Plus you need to factor in possible overage charges if your video is popular. Vimeo Pro doesn't have any bandwidth limitations.

Pros

This video hosting site is amazing for keeping track on views of your work and following the engagement. It's super easy to use and the customer service is great. For my company being able to track who has watched what and when has become invaluable and I haven't found another site that can do this to the standard that we need.

Cons

I find that the analytics are not always correct.

\- custom player settings for custom branding - replace video capabilities - multiple embedding options - multiple security level options for individual videos

Cons

It's a little bit expensive, but worth the cost for all the functionality not offered by other companies. Single sign on also isn't offered until you reach the highest tier, and it would be nice if it were available at the lower tiers.
