It also take so many efforts to find out the real root-cause and wasting so many time to do the analysis, trial and solve the real root-cause of defects. By this IoT, the application will direct guide us to the parameter which is problem and can do the realignment prior to making defects. This IoT have reduced significantly Plant Defect Rate, improve MTTR/MTBF and productivity. Pros The IoT box that is used in our factory can monitor the real time parameter behavior of each machine we installed, it also can give us an alert in case of any parameter tend to be out of the specification before the defects occur. One thing that I like most is the temperature sensor that can attach to the metal surface (magnet). It will directly notify us if the motor we monitor overheated so we can do action before the motor burnt (sometimes stuck in the conveyor, rotary table will happen without any notice and awareness by people in surrounding area) Cons It is such great action if the manufacturer can improve the IoT with the program which can trigger machine to be auto adjustment to correct the parameter which tend to be out. We need also the application that is used to monitor can be simplified and the display can be more various and interesting (graph option, indicators, etc) and user-friendlier. Pros The unbelievable facilitate that the product manages towards setting up the gadgets is too much. As I would like to think, this "fitting and play" approach was long late. Cons At times it would freeze up making it necessary to log completely out and then log back in.
