Pros

The workflows, being able to design a process and implement other team members is wonderful.

Cons

Contacting customer service has been painful in the past. I like having a dedicated phone # to call in problems with. Trying to find the problem in the list of issues takes time and its not always available in the list and then you have to email and go back and forth when a simple 5-10 min phone call could fix the problem.

I have gone to three other CRMs in the last 5 years (not by choice( and I always come back.

Pros

It's simple to use. Anyone who has ever used social media accounts in their lives will pick it up quickly. The functions to inform one another about notes make working with virtual assistants extremely streamlined and efficient avoiding slow email-only communication.

Cons

The social media connections went away. Not a big deal but it was great to stay in one spot and review client happenings within your client base. Also, the email system is still not very flexible and dynamic like a live Outlook program is. I like the tracking but I couldn't get my signature to work right. I want to be able to select my fonts and make the emails look like they came from my Outlook. I also think they could improve upon the tabs for additional client information and make them easy to fill quickly. Makes me not want to really fill out detailed data on them.

Redtail is too expensive and too clunky to use. I don't understand why people use it so much, I guess they may have just shown up first. Salesforce was expensive and archaic. It's customizable but advisors don't need extensive customization to track notes and client details. I do think that the new Salesforce for financial services may be competitive now.

Wealthbox has been a great CRM system for me as a small business. It is reasonably priced, has good optionality and integrates with a lot of the other software I use with my planning clients.

Pros

Wealthbox is a great CRM system that is easy to implement and use. It connects with many other software providers to help aggregate important financial data in an intuitive way. The connection with Gmail really enhanced the value of the product as it reduces steps in the email process.

Cons

While the software is easy to use and easy to implement, it still had a few items that need work. I had used a software called Contactually many years ago and they had a great way of bucketing clients so that you could set up different contact cadences for the individual groups. It's a bit clunky setting up periodic reminders to contact clients. Also, if they had more pre-filled workflow templates, it would be a great help to advisors new to the system and the industry.

I actually look forward to opening this program because it helped me organize my business and it so easy to use. My old CRM was not this easy.

Pros

This was the easiest and fastest setup of any CRM I used in the past. It matched my needs as I wanted something that I could tailor to meet my needs in a database. It is very easy to make changes to the CRM to add fields. I didn't need to pay a consultant to change the face, fields or integrate with other vendors. Note taking is very simple and I really liked the layout.

Cons

It sounds too good to be true but i did not have any cons with this software. At least not yet.

Reason for choosing Wealthbox

I liked the simplicity which in many ways matched Wealthbox but I couldn't change Redtail to meet my needs when entering data and connecting families or Relatives. Redtail is on a Template that cannot be tailored or morphed easily to meet my needs. I had to create many Custom Fields and that doesn't always work well if you have too many.

I would say of you're a financial advisor you should definitely give this software a consideration. I personally am frustrated with how expensive everything is related to our industry, it's ridiculous. WB is not the cheapest but it's also not the most expensive. So it's a lot more expensive than some non-FA types of CRMs but the specific features and the sanity-saving features are worth it \[for example -- doing my annual ADV email and having WB do a broadcast email and also update that each client received the ADV on that day is just about worth the annual cost\].

Pros

WB is super easy to hit the ground running. From day one it makes sense and is intuitive. Tagging clients for group emails is super-easy.

Cons

The 'opportunity' pipelines are hard to remember how to update. Seems like I spend a lot of time trying to remember how to update or delete them, probably the clunkiest part of WB.

Positive: issue with Salesforce iteration we used was that it took more time to do day to day things in the system. It wasn't "fun" or "easy" to use. Wealthbox solves that. What's the best CRM? One you use. I feel like they have designed it in a way that's approachable and time efficient for a business that is always stretched on time and/or technical aptitude

Pros

Ease of use, activity feed for keeping an eye on the team, ability to note, task, etc. all from the front page, integrations with other systems

Cons

Relative inflexibility, some integrations aren't as deep as they could be. That said, they take user feedback to heart and incorporate it over time.

RedTail had some integration advantages, but it comes back to "would I/we enjoy using this / would I/we use this as much as I/we know I/we should?" and I kept circling back to a "no" answer. Made the choice pretty simple. The product isn't as approachable or "pretty."

### "Exactly what you need in a CRM"

Since changing over from another CRM we will never go back. WealtBox does everything we need and the team over at WealthBox is more than accommodating when it comes to listening and assisting any feedback we have.

Pros

We love the flexibility the software gives us to create reports on most/all data points and ease of use. We are able to get new users up and running in no time. The information is displayed in an easy-to-read format. The mobile app was a lifesaver during the pandemic while employees were working from home as well as for our employees that are traveling and on the road.

Cons

Like any software, transition periods can be rocky but it is well worth the transition going to WeatlhBox. Our only pain point currently is moving contacts to different Workspaces within our organization as it is something we can not do and must contact Customer Support to complete.

It's been an excellent CRM solution for workflows, logging notes, setting follow-ups, and housing client data.

Pros

The ability to add custom categories and follow-up e-mails that are sent daily. It's a helpful reminder to log in to the software or simply review the items that are tagged in the e-mail.

Cons

I have to click on my notes to read the entire post.

So far so good! It's easy to use and has several great features that we really love. I'd like to see some options in pricing. For example, we had an intern for 3 months but it was going to cost us the price of a user and we would be billed after the intern was gone. The main thing I miss from using RedTail is the option to have and add additional users at no cost.

Pros

I like the functionality and not having to make multiple clicks to get to a different page. I like that the software has real integrations and not just single signon.

Cons

It's a little pricey compared to other CRMs with the same types of features. You charger per user. Why not have options for up to 5 employees, etc.

Pros

Easy to navigate to different pages. It's very intuitive in terms of finding something. I didn't feel like there was a learning curve at all.

Cons

It took awhile to get Note Templates. And the Workflows are fairly elementary. I think that's by design, but they could have more options and such.

### "A Website I NEED For My Life to Function "

I highly, highly recommend Wealthbox. It is a great platform with a wide selection of integral-to-my-life features that keep me coming back many times an hour, every day of the working week. It might be one of my most visited websites... not because it is arduous or monotonous, but because it is an staple in my professional (and sometimes personal) life.

Pros

I like how Wealthbox is a centralized location for so much of our firm and so much of my life alike. When I am working, this software is always lulling in the background somewhere. I reference it often throughout the day. I can task myself; I can task other people to complete something imperative and direct to their natures; I can book my schedule and work with others around theirs. I feel organized, appreciative to and thankful for Wealthbox which houses a plethora of information.

Cons

When searching for a client at the search bar, there is little to no information about them beside their name. In short, the contact management is not my favorite feature. Wealthbox could benefit from a more polished contact page as well. It looks... messy. There is not a cohesive, consistent feel. I am also not a fan of the Contacts > Tags or Contacts > Manage Tags section on Wealthbox. It feels underdeveloped and incorrect. Contacts > Click a Tag > Filtering by is also an area I do not feel benefits the strengths of Wealthbox's capabilities.

We have become better at knowing what is in our pipeline and track needed tasks and opportunities of our clients. I kept it in my head for 18 years. This works much better?

Pros

Ease of use to the introductory user. Kind of fashioned like Facebook for notes and documentation. The ability to edit notes is very helpful. I like the upgrades like ability to add a picture of a client so admins who don't know the clients can verify that is who came in. We utilize the opportunity stage function her for tacking new or potential business in the pipeline.

Cons

I wish there was a client service call center, I have colleagues who have monthly calls with Redtail to stay up on the latest from them and expand their knowledge and use of the software. My Broker/Dealer offers an annual Redtail University at the home office, something like that from Wealthbox would be awesome, I would probably even pay for team members to attend. I would also incorporate suggested or sample workflows for initial users to get an idea of how to incorporate into their practice.

Reason for choosing Wealthbox

Recommendation from the tech team. Did the trial and liked the product as it seemed very easy to transition and use quickly at the time and in training future employees. All employees have picked it up real quickly.

Pros

The best part about wealthbox is that it's easy to input and update information into the CRM. No one likes using a CRM that takes more than two clicks to update something. Between the Zapier integration (Open API really) and the newsfeed/ input UX, the data entry is much less cumbersome than other CRMs.

Cons

Like most critiques, I'd love a deeper integration with our planning and investment vendors (Right Capital 2 way sync, a deeper Betterment integration that integrates into your reporting, etc.)

Every client and prospect gets a task. I simply will not allow for prospects to fall into a crack. Wealthbox keeps that from happening if you have a staff member willing to do the task when they see the task. And I do have staff willing to do it ... and wealth box makes it happen for us.

Pros

It feels like most of the software I deal with on a daily basis. I've used Junxure, Redtail, Salesforce and now Wealthbox. I wish I had found this earlier. It really is intuitive and friendly and the staff and helpline are all about finding out what you need and making it happen! Very nice addition to the CRM space! Thanks, WealthBox.

Cons

I would have to work so hard to find something that I do not like. I don't think I want to work that hard. I suppose it's not perfect, but it's so much better than what I was using, it seems almost perfect!! :)

It is one of the primary reasons that we have been able to expand our client base significantly (20% increase in clients in the last 12 months). The API integrations that we can use to generate entire workflows ensures that everyone is productive and that nothing falls through the cracks.

Pros

So easy to set up and intuitive to use. Everyone on my team loves it and we are so happy we made the switch. (Should have done it ages ago!) The integrations are awesome also. Bonus: I have added many other pieces of Fintech to the practice after being exposed to them through joint webcasts that I tapped into through Wealthbox. I cant say enough good things.

Cons

The email client is a little clunky at times

It is fairly easy to use & the dashboard is convenient.

Cons

There are limited integrations & features, and we've had to brainstorm several workarounds to accomplish what's needed for reporting & day to day use for our firm. The activity stream for client records gets very jumbled as tasks are logged in the stream when created & completed so repetitive information tends to clog up the stream. Quarterly business tracking based on goals is unable to be accomplished with opportunities. Limited functionality with opportunities.

Wealthbox has really helped us pull together a wide variety of information about our clients in one central hub that we can connect with our document storage, investment, and planning software.

Pros

Wealthbox is very intuitive so the learning curve was quick. In addition they continually add integrations and new developments that help stay current with new processes and outside programs that we want to use.

Cons

In the future we would love to see a deeper integration with our financial planning software, eMoney, so that tasks in Wealthbox assigned to an eMoney user can be carried over to tasks there. This would save us the duplication and make reporting of our planning progress out of eMoney much more robust.

Pros

Our small but mighty 3 person fee-only RIA transitioned to Wealthbox in November 2020 after an abrupt closure of our prior CRM we had been on since 2015. The data migration and onboarding team was fabulous and everything came over. We have enjoyed using the smart logic outcomes on the workflows and building smart processes for our client service activities and also internal strategic use. We enjoy the integrations and appreciate it speaks with Zapier for further automation. Highly recommend!

Cons

We would like more integrations with Zapier.

I love Wealthbox! I work with multiple advisors and use multiple CRMs and Wealthbox has always been my favorite! It is so easy to use. Setting up workflows is so simple anyone can do it. Utilizing that tasks and workflows keeps everything so seamless. I am able to easily communicate through the CRM instead of having to use a chat feature or email which helps everything stay in one place and things not get missed.

Pros

I love how it is so easy to use and learn. The workflows and tasks are my favorite because you can easily communicate with other team members on workflows and tasks which keeps everything in one place.

Cons

Some other CRMs have better integrations so I think Wealthbox can improve there.

Pros

This software is very user friendly, easy to download contact database, and very conducive to what I need in a client database.

Cons

I wish it had more call data features. I would like to know exactly how often I call a client, if they answered, if I left a message, and what we discussed.
