It's great that we can test our team members and track their progress with training. Trainual has solved the issue of having scattered documents because everything we need is centralized, and everyone uses the same information. It's fantastic being able to know who is engaging with the content. I appreciate the capacity to include presentations and YouTube videos, which was initially tricky but ultimately very useful. The platform also allowed us to update our training library with pre-recorded YouTube materials, making everything easily accessible. Overall, the training sessions were highly productive, and the setup was quite smooth. This organization and centralization have been really helpful for us. The developers emphasised a company setup process that is intuitive and easy for a training coordinator of any level to use. I'm the primary training admin for our company - and as such the legwork involved in setting up and configuring training platforms has a very real impact on my time. This undeniably makes my job easier. Cons No API to pull training metrics. We live in the age of AI and vibe-coding. Any reasonably tech savvy person has workflows and MCP servers that work with API's - and it is a sore point that Trainual does not yet have this. The price is absolutely worth the features that you have access to and I am so glad that I discovered Trainual when I did. Our Team uses Trainual on a daily basis as it has the playbooks that our various Teams utilise for everything that they need to know or learn more about. I also love that you are able to share other department playbooks with everyone so that Teams have a clear overview of everyone's responsibilities and what is expected of them. Trainuals customer service and community is super helpful and I regularly find myself reading through what other people have posted to learn more about the features we have access to. Cons Sometimes the mobile app is a bit slow and it doesn't have all the features that the computer version has - we have a lot of Team members on the ground that use the mobile app and rely on it for information while on sites. Pros We used an old "wiki" system for a lot of our training and documenting our processes. Trainual has enabled us to do this in a way that engages our audience much more. It has received great feedback from our new hires during the onboarding process. Cons Although it's still a new feature, I've encountered some personal issues with uploading a video directly to Trainual for hosting. It will say it may take up to 10 minutes, but do not go anywhere. I'm sure this will resolve itself after a bit! That said, there are a few frustrations. The Content page gets cluttered quickly, and I wish there were folders or a better way to organize content by department (e.g., HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical). But overall, the benefits outweigh the limitations, and Trainual has helped us move away from outdated or scattered training methods. I have had \[sensitive content hidden\] who have helped me get implemented on trainaul and then after implementation the follow ups have been great. Trainual is very user friendly and allows you to manage your employees training and onboarding in one place. But it also allows you to add chrome extensions to sites your company uses, so they can access training notes as they are doing the process. Pros The fact that you can assign content to specific users, the chrome extension which allows the team to follow steps while they are doing the process. The AI is a great feature to being able to ask a question and have the AI pull from all published content on Trainual is very useful and it even links where the employee can find the content. Cons Importing documents, require formatting. Somethings are harder to get on than others. Though I found some work arounds that make it easier. I know it is something that they are working on. " September 24, 2025 3.0 It's ok, basically a SOP with a good search function, you can probably get the same effect with other free softwares. The cost is extremely expensive for small businesses, so unless you have high staff turn over... It's not worth it. The site is always online which is great and the app allows you to access it anywhere you need to, but it's just not right for my business we are not overly complicated and with multiple departments. Pros Search function, UI, able to add gifs to articles, have a reminder on how much of the training an employee have completed. Cons Cost, inability to export out in a good format or easily export the documents out, they used to allow you to do editing of photos inside the app, like putting arrows and boxes around important areas but not anymore making writing new training materials much harder. It's helped streamline all of our processes and policies. Everything is in one place, in the same format, and is searchable and easily accessible by everyone at our company. We're able to onboard new team members much more efficiently and effectively, and ongoing training is so much simpler. Pros Incredible onboarding team and customer support - they always go the extra mile to make sure you're happy and comfortable with Trainual. Clean user interface with so many useful tools - it's easy to make my training content readable and engaging inside the platform. The smart tools help me clean up my writing (make it shorter, longer, more concise, summarize a block of content, expand on a sentence, etc.) and the insert options help me easily incorporate docs, videos, images, tables, and even gifs. Cons Getting all of your content onto the platform takes time, but that'll be the case with any similar products. It's worth the investment. My advice is to plan well in advance and use the onboarding support team to the fullest - they do this day in and day out, so they have great advice on how to get up and running in a way that'll work for you and your team. Pros Trainual has fantastic customer service and support when learning how to use their product! It's super easy to use and has really streamlined our onboarding process! Cons There isn't much I don't love about Trainual. I look forward to more integrations! I truly don't have any major problems with their platform. A good visualization and consolidation of data. Cons Nothing I can think of. I think it can still be confusing which items are best to be a Policy vs a Process vs a Subject. Pros I like the search feature where you can use a key word and easily find the content you are looking for. Cons Sometimes it gets glitchy on me - not often, but the screen will freeze or there is a delay with what I am typing.
