The biggest benefit for me personally (in my position of Quality Assurance) is the availability to monitor what everyone is doing across our 15 locations using the Nextiva App, reporting and supervisor dashboard.

Pros

Its hard to pick what i like the most. Their reporting is flexible enough that i can take the raw data from the reports and use it to create my own reports. Their customer service is wonderful! Rarely am I on hold for more that a minute and when they answer that are courteous and knowledgeable!

Cons

The only thing I can think of is that when we first started using the recording feature they would only keep the calls for 3 years so we had to set up our own SFTP server to keep them after that. However, I think that has changed and they will go up to 7 years (I think).

That agents cannot see the calls in queue. They only see a number

### "It's expensive, but they have really good customer service."

It's mostly just communicating with customers. The system makes it easy for us to communicate with the customers, which is exactly what we want.

Pros

It's fairly easy to use. They also have excellent customer service. Anytime we need anything, we're able to give them a call and they are able to make the adjustments or show us how to make the adjustments.

Cons

There are some features that are missing that other voice over IP services have. Specifically, notifications for text messages. Whenever customers text us, we don't get a notification in our email in the same manner that we do when they call us or leave us a voicemail. I think they're working on this functionality, but it has not been implemented yet. A lot of customers text us, and it would be great if we got a notification so that we can get back to them quickly. Also it would be nice if we were able to upload greetings that didn't have to meet the 8K HZ quality thresholds. It would be really nice if we were able to record a simple message on our phone or computer and upload it as a greeting.

Pros

The features most impactful to our business would be the desktop and mobility app. We are not always in the office so being able to conduct business calls from our computers or smart phone as if we were in the office allows us to grow our business without having to physically be there.

Cons

The transcription is great but doesn't always capture the voicemail correctly.

Overall the experience has been good, but I am extremely hesitant to ever have to change the phone tree again because it was an all-day nightmare!

Pros

Customer support was very helpful when I needed it to help set up the phone tree. Phone tree works well for most callers and is relatively easy to follow.

Cons

The phone tree was really hard to set up! It took most of a day, and 5 Nextiva tech calls/chats, for us to be able to change features in our phone tree. It would frequently throw errors when we tried to save new recordings or assign/save the branches. It would delete recordings we had just created or assigned as well, causing even more errors. Eventually the techs had to set it up for us on the backend. I was working with another technician (the chat had timed out), while the first one was working to finish it on the backend for us. The second tech didn't know what the first one was doing, and neither did I! The first tech had to split the tree into two trees, which was not apparent that would need to happen in order for it to work. It's a really buggy setup, but it works well once it is setup and left alone.

Pros

Nextiva addresses all of the needs for our business and more. My favorite feature is the user control of the auto attendant. Once you understand how it works, you can set it up to operate in whatever way is needed. The application is also accessible via desktop app, mobile app, or desk phone, and I appreciate the versatility. Overall I believe this is a solid choice to go with. There are a few standard features, and then ones you can add based on your specific needs. User licenses for different products are also available.

Cons

The service can be spotty depending on which application you are using. If you have all three, however, the advantage is that you can switch between them if one is having problems.

Overall our experience with Nextiva has been great.

Pros

What really makes any company is customer service and support. If we can't figure something out or are having issues their support team is always very quick to fix the issue and always have a good attitude.

Cons

Because we use the call center and call recording functionality some of the sites are hard to get to. Especially being a HIPAA secure account.

Phone systems are critical for our company. The majority of calls we get are for high level, urgent support issues where time is of the essence (lucky for us, we don't get many calls because our products are very reliable). Audio quality has to be high and the phone software has to be stable. Nextiva excels in both areas.

Pros

Nextiva works. That is the biggest pro there is. The software has been very stable and highly reliable. For something as critical as phone systems, that is the most important item and Nextiva hits the mark.

Cons

From a feature set, reliability and audio quality, Nextiva has it more than covered. The only thing that I would adjust is the size of the desktop app. The app seems to be optimized for full screen display. It isn't hard to resize the app but if it was optimized for a smaller footprint on the screen it would be a nice enhancement.

We implement and recommend Nextiva for all our customers, the implementation process is easy and that makes our life much easier during the implementation projects. Highly recommended.

Pros

Personally I have my extension with me wherever I go, I work remotely and this makes my life easier. We have many customers that we always recommend Nextiva phones, the implementation process is easy and the Support is great in case is needed. One of our customers is opening two news stores and Nextiva is already on the project.

Cons

No complains so far, I work and recommend for more than 3 years and the system is very reliable. We don't have any headaches supporting our customer that uses Nextiva

Fantastic, supported every step of the way, endlessly customizable (my favorite), couldn't be happier working with them to keep our office running strong!

Pros

The combination of features and various integrations has made Nextiva a foundational pillar of our office. The service's reliability has been top-notch, and above all else the support team gets my highest honors. In my position I work with endless support teams, so many of which don't even seem to know the products/services they're supposed to support. Yet Nextiva's support team shocks me time and time again with how knowledgeable they are not only with their own product, but also products they integrate with.

Cons

Up until recently the desktop and mobile apps have been very lackluster, especially in comparison to the robust assortment of features offered by the platform itself. Recently though that has been improving extremely fast, and I have no doubt by the end of the year I'll have no Cons left to list.

It was rocky in the beginning but no major issues at this time, just some minor issues that I may try to deal with when I get the time. So overall a good experience.

Pros

The most important features for my business is VOIP and the mobile app. So I can handle communications while I am out of the office.

Cons

It is difficult sometimes to determine what line a call is coming from on my desk phone or mobile since there is not much choice for line identification with my service.

It's been great. We went from desk phones to Nextiva and will not return.

Pros

Nextiva being an app on my personal phone is the biggest benefit of all. Because of it, I am able to have a separate number to give people for business purposes but not have a separate phone. I can text, call, receive voicemails, etc...everything a cell phone will do without the burden of a second phone. It has allowed for our staff to not have to deal with business issues outside of business hours, something we hold direly to. It was a huge solution to a problem we were experiencing.

Cons

The only feature that could be seen as a con would be the fact that you sometimes have to login in again to get calls actively. However, even when you aren't logged in the app still sends you voicemails you receive and it is as simple then as logging in and calling someone back.

Good but could be better. Better app is definitely needed and the response time for support phone calls could be greatly improved.

Pros

Stability and ease of use and management. Have not had any major issues or outages since implementation.

Cons

The desktop application was replaced soon after we converted and it is not very good or well thought out. I don't understand why a desktop application will make my computer ring.

Our closing rate for sales and appointment setting has gone up significantly using call monitoring and recording, without being able to hear and see what our staff are doing we couldn't properly train them.

Pros

The nextiva one platform is powerful and easy to deploy across all teams anyone whether at home or in an office can be taking phone calls and working actively. Great customer service on top of it makes nextiva the best in my eyes

Cons

If i had to pick one thing I would say sometimes the wait times for support can be long but that being said when I do get on with support they are fast and knowledgeable so I don't mind waiting knowing I'll have a great experience

Overall, Nextiva has been great. We had one issue in the past but it was resolved and the has never happened again. We still sometimes have issues with our auto attendant when we want to change it but overall, it's great.

Pros

I like how if you have any issues with the Nextiva system, you can call the help desk and get serviced fairly quickly. (some days are better than others)

Cons

This one is easy for me. What I like the least about Nextiva is a lot of times when we fix/add a change to our phone tree, it can mess up other aspects of our phone tree. What has worked in the past could break and no one understands why. This mainly happens when we try to adjust to auto attendant. We try not to change much.

Coming from administering an on-prem system, this was a completely different ballgame. I did not like the interface at first, but I've gotten used to it, and it's quite easy on the eyes. When I started becoming familiar with the product, it just works. You can even have a phone at home, without the pressures of special hardware or VPNs to the office. Call quality is great.

Pros

Nextiva support is great. I've only had a few issues I need to reach out to support about, and they've always been able to help me. Friendly knowledgeable technicians make you feel at ease that your issues will be resolved in one call.

Cons

I am not a huge fan of the interface, because I'm used to clunkier on-premises interfaces. That being said, once you get used to it, it is very easy to use, and nice to look at.

I am extremely happy with the sale experience and continued use! Lifetime customer here!

Pros

I am the owner of a growing logistics business in FL. After outgrowing Google Voice, and frustrations with another big name company out there, I was looking for a system that could grow with us as we expanded and didn't make us pay for extras that we didn't need. The sales rep. came up with the perfect plan for our small business, without trying to upsell me and without a contract! So many other companies I investigated wanted a commitment and after our bad experience with another popular company I did not want to be stuck. After 3 months of using Nextiva I couldn't be happier. My manager and I use the app on our phones and I use the app on my MacBook seamlessly. The price is right! The customer service chat is amazing! They helped to set us up and have been available to answer questions whenever we were in need. There was a little learning curve to adjust to how we do business, but it was so much easier than that other big name. Would recommend Nextiva for all your communication needs!

Cons

I like to think that I am pretty tech. savvy, but I did need help setting up our system for our team. Customer service was right there to help me though. There is also a small learning curve using the app, but you will have that with any new system you try.

I loved that Nextiva didn't require a contract. After trying and not liking Verizon - One Talk, I was afraid to get locked into a system that would not work for us. I also liked that my sales rep. really worked to understand what my business needed. He didn't try and upsell me a system that I didn't need.

Ring Central had lousy service just on the sales calls so I would never attempt to trust their product or tech support.

it has been a great experience. We needed a new phone solution and with in just a few days, we were set up and ready to use it. They also sent us hard phones at no cost to use in the office.

Pros

The cost is very affordable! The application is very easy to use and always have new updates rolling out.

Cons

Sometimes, it is glitchy but with the new updates and support we typically have a solution with in a day.

The cost and recording abilities made Nextiva a clear winner.

Very happy with Nextiva. The 1 wishlist item I have is the ability to add additional licensing without having to reach out to Nextiva support.

Pros

Nextiva provides easy deployment, management, and platform-agnostic functionality. Support is excellent. Every support experience has been positive, with problem resolution in an expedited manner. Kudos to Nextiva for having a very well trained support workforce!

Cons

The solution is terrific and works consistently. No issues.

We have had great service with Nextiva and when we have an issue, they offer several options to obtain tech support. And we have been very satisfied with their service, tech support and equipment.

Pros

The service, as it is very user friendly. We are able to control most of the set up and installing a new user and or phone. The cost is very good when comparing features to other Voip Providers. The Features that come with the service is great and we have been very satisfied.

Cons

Nextiva One started out with a lot of issues but they have made some great updates and hopefully they keep enhancing it.
