I am able to use the system to get new business and keep my cellphone and other operations in-house for clients.

Pros

I use the business phone number and fax to conduct new business whereby I usually would have to wait to get a device turned on for the client to call me, and I dont have to wait and can use multiple devices.

Cons

There is minimal delay and sometimes no sound when on a conference call so I can to join it again or look at the other active devices to switch the call there.

Pros

The system did everything we needed it to. Never had a problem with VOIP clarity. The sales and support team were terrific. Price was steady and the equipment they provided was solid.

Cons

The setup and customer portal were a bear. There was nothing straightforward about programming an auto-attendant and I never could figure out how to set up the SMS. I had no idea how difficult their system really was until we moved our offices and had to switch to another vendor.

It was easy and fast and affordable. When I email the support team they get back to me right away.

Pros

I can download the Nextiva App on my cell and answer calls for the office from my cell at anytime anywhere.

Cons

I don't like setting up the call flows.

I found and set up the callflow for our business. Our remote team was ready to receive calls and make outgoing calls within the day.

Pros

No hardware required. Setup was easy. Upfront cost and per user cost is very reasonable. Constant improvements are made. Customer service is accessible and very helpful. User friendly platform to customize a callflow for your business.

Cons

There is a learning curve to set up the callflow. However, it's not something you need to modify often after it's done.

Sometimes the support queues are longer, but they always get back with you asap.

Really great experience! When I needed assistance with activating more lines for our desk phones I received exceptional support from the chat bot, to the person that the chat bot connected me to, and from the After Hours team. Even though my request was scheduled to be completed within 48hrs to 5 business days, I received immediate response the following day at 4 AM! The features were enabled and worked flawlessly.

Pros

I really like the ease of use and having the options for a desk phone, desktop app, and an iOS app.

Cons

Nothing major yet. The iOS app could be a little better with clearing missed calls and stopping the annoying pop-up that keeps asking me to enable cellular data when it is already enabled from my settings.

I never had an issue about Nextiva! I just had a problem one time about downloading this but their customer support is very responsive and helpful!

Problems not resolved. Can't use phone. Was told calls were recorded. Now find out they were not because system was disabled. So can't verify what my callers said on their few calls they made. App is the problem Not our phones or computer. Apparently you can't fix it. So much time and money I've wasted trying to make this work with no success.

The Sales Rep that sold me the program was nice and seemed caring

Cons

Had 2 outbound callers I wanted to use the VOIP for that work remotely. Apps either didn't open, didn't call...lost audio...static on the line...was on phone 4 hours troubleshooting different days / times paying these reps to go through their troubleshooting process blaming computer settings and phone settings, which never resolved anything. Very disappointed. I should have read reviews before purchasing

### "Overall a pretty good system with great live support"

Pros

Deskphone setup is bulletproof. Windows app is solid.

Cons

Smartphone app is unreliable and drops calls and audio. Been like that since the start but seems to be getting worse. The windows app is solid but they do have web outages which is real annoying because you can get at the sytem to administer or redirect calls. Very frustrating.

I like the admin interface. I can perform many functions in the interface like swap users on phones and add phones without calling support.

I do not like the long wait on hold to get a Nextiva support tech on the line.

In our organization, we have been utilizing Nextiva Business Phone Service to address our call center needs, and it has been an outstanding solution. Coupled with the Unity Client platform, Nextiva provides a comprehensive system that allows me, as a supervisor, to have a firm grip on monitoring and supporting my agents during their shifts.

Cons

The technical capabilities and call quality of Nextiva are top-notch, leaving me completely satisfied with its performance. If I were to make a suggestion for improvement, I would say it would be great if Nextiva could provide more options for generating reports. While the current reporting options cover most of our requirements, there is certainly room for additional features in this area.

### "Trying to leave Nextiva was a nightmare"

I would avoid Nextiva at all costs. If I had a time machine, I'd go back and talk to my past self to avoid them like the plaque. You could not get me to switch back to them even if their service was free or they offered to pay me to use their service.

Pros

Their phones did come preset up and the onboarding process was very streamlined. When I did need technical support, they were quick to resolve the issues.

Cons

Where to begin, their pricing and contracts all but force you to stick with them long term or pay an arm and a leg to leave. I should have known better than to sign any contract, but wanted to save a little bit on the upfront costs (by getting a free phone) and slightly lower monthly rates. When I did leave Nextiva, I happily paid to break my contract, even though I shouldn't have had to pay any ETF at all. More on that later. While Nextiva's technical support was great, good luck if you ever need customer support for billing or contract issues. When I was finally fed up with the prices Nextiva was charging, I went back through my contract and noticed that Nextiva did not honor their end of the bargain. When I called up customer service to end my contract, the customer service agents tried to weasel their way out of it, trying to explain one thing that they meant, but clearly wasn't literally written into the contract. Trying to leave them was a literal nightmare, because they broke their contract and I refused to pay the full ETF, I had to speak with a manager, who was supposed to call and never did. I had to call them 20+ times to finally get in touch with this manager. And because this manager was assigned to my case, I couldn't get another manager to fix things in the mean time. I'm 100% sure if I wasn't so persistent, I never would have gotten through to finally break free. Don't walk, run far far away from Nextiva.

I would recommend this company to all small business. It has all the full service features of a large system but with a lot smaller price and with great knowledgeable people to help you install it and configure it, no matter how many times you need to change it - as we always do in small business, especially when we are growing.

Pros

It is easy to use, and install. The company made it so easy to switch and get up and going.

Cons

I have not found something that I like least about this company.

the phone service was good in that it allowed phones to reach in multiple offices simultaneously.

We had chronic problems customer service was unable to fix making service no longer useable and we switched to another company.

We rely on Nextiva every day and we have little to no issues with call distribution.

Cons

I can say that I am a person that receives many calls during the day, and I can go great number of days without any issues, but once in a while we have to delete cache due to many calls. Mostly that is fixed on my phone or by calling the Nextiva center.

Pros

Everything would be the easy answer, it was easy to setup, received the phones much sooner the expected the installation was plug in and go. then came the service meeting and one on one. Any question you could come up with the had an answer, They checked and verified that everything you did was correct and when you thought it couldn't get any better they gave you a contact number for customer solutions. when you have any question from how to to what does that mean get's answered during the call. FANTASTIC!!!!

Cons

There is really nothing that I don't like as yet with Nextiva.. I guess if I had to come with something I wish they had a better manual for the phones.

### "Searched the Biggest Names and Nextiva was the Obvious Choice"

We looked at Zoom, DialPad, RingCentral, and Nextiva. Nextiva had the best service, usability, and technical support. Zoom texting doesn't work for t mobile customers so Nextiva was our obvious next step. Cost is our #1 deciding factor when choosing a service so it's incredible that Nextiva met that along with giving us great support and usability.

Pros

Best thing is price. Then quality of service. Then usability/interface (we have 70+ people in all ranges of technology familiarity). Then the fact that Nextiva's support system is FAST and considerably knowledgable. They helped with porting, setting things up, and day-to-day use.

Cons

NA - I worked with Nextiva from sales to set-up to daily use and can't find an issue so far.

The app just need more work or updating.

i have more issue on the app. We have to log out of it at least twice a day to properly use it. We cant clear phone logs. At this time i have over 1500 call and i cant clear them. I go under preference and hit clear all log and it does not work, I preform the health check and half the time it fails. Call are not able to be transfer in the app. In all if using the desk top it is great but the app really need to fix.

Pros

We use Nextiva to route our phone calls for over 100 agents, 3 offices and two businesses. Nextiva support is always easy to access whenever we're trying to route the phones differently. The app makes it easy to pop in and turn on call forwarding to voicemail during inclement weather or other emergencies.

Cons

If the internet goes down, the phones do go down but that is rare for us.
