Wonderful experience, Capterra was so helpful, he updated my Act to the current version and I was back in business, without his assistance I would not have been able to figure it out due to the windows update. I am so thankful and appreciate Capterra for making it an easy process.

The Act data base is easy to use, not complicated at all to add new clients and make notes.

Cons

There is nothing Not to like, I have been using Act for over 30 years, absolutely would recommend it!

Very happy with Act! I've tried other CRMs and Act! best suites my needs both in easy of use and affordability.

Pros

Easy to customize and use. Handles all of what I need to conduct and manage my business. Been a customer for over 16 years.

Cons

Does not have 24/7 customer/tech support. I work a lot evenings and weekend and need support throughout the days and evenings.

Most importantly everything was working fine at the end of the call. Thats what I call customer support!

Pros

The Rep was friendly, knowledgeable and patient with me until we got everything working! It was a smooth process!

Cons

Unfortunately on my anniversary, after I renewed my memebership nothing worked and I needed assistance retrieveing my client files. It all worked out.

I don't know what I would do without them.

Pros

They always help. I call them monthly for help with my email campaign and whoever I speak too always help me get through. My husband and I run a business from home and I follow up the results from the email campaign. ACT has served us well.

Cons

The music while you wait to get through - maybe change it occasionally!!! The Tech team are great - pretty much are ALL great technical support so I can't knock anyone.

CSR was fine to work with. Answered my questions and got my system serial number returned to me so I could access my info.

Customer data access and ease of reports and info. Customizable fields relevant to my needs. 123456789

Cons

Just need a laptop version. My previous version did everyhing I need. Dont like the $30 monthly fee to access my data. Dont need support and frills.

Pros

ACT is a great way to manage your contacts and opportunities. We like the easy of the system for entering information whether it is a contact, a meeting or an opportunity.

Cons

We actually don't use ACT to its fullest capabilities. I am sure there is something, I haven't found it yet.

### "30-year user great program but could still be a little better"

Like I said the flexibility is is very good and helpful. It has grown and expanded with the times. The customer service is probably the best with any company I deal with. I wish they had longer hours or 24/7 because of my schedule I work with people all over the world and sometimes wind up needing help in the middle of the night. It's gotten too pricey but it is an extremely powerful program and I've enjoyed using it since the early '90s. I've been through several different owners of the program. The current \[sensitive content hidden\] seeing the most committed to customer service.

Pros

I've been using acts for over 30 years. I like its flexibility and how it has grown over the years. I do wish it had a better mobile application. It doesn't match the desktop well enough. The thing I like best is the customer support if you are a premium member. But it is very costly.

Cons

The price has gotten almost prohibitive. Other programs are much more affordable. The mobile app for your phone is not up to the high standards that I have come to expect from act for over 30 years.

Great support and customer satisfaction when it comes to their team and working with you and your environment

Pros

The product easily integrates with Outlook and most users find it easy to use. It always to split between groups and companies and leave notes/interactions with each person that has emailed a company. This keeps track of leads and last communications.

Cons

old looking user interface but that has recently changed. Customization takes a bit of time and not as simple but they do provide training.

I have been using ACT for over 20 years and I find it very useful in managing our accounts. Our entire sales team utilizes both the regular version as well as the web version

Pros

I prefer the regular version over the web version

Good - good product and service team is high quality

Pros

Intuitive, easy to use, has all the basics you need and offers nice enhancements and upgrades

Cons

its a little glitchy at times, pages don't refresh properly, when viewing lists, such as contacts, the field columns (email, phone, address, etc.) sizing is slow and clunky for the browser based web version, also could use an graphical update, looks a little dated

Brilliant - I would highly recommend ACT to anyone as a full on CRM system, there is definley more we could do with the system, but it is having the time to speak to \[sensitive content hidden\] who is fantastic.

We can adapt the layout to our needs and the support from \[sensitive content hidden\] is absolutely fantastic, even if it is a small query. It works well with our records with dates etc and getting the reports we require is perfect

Act's software is very dated. It's best for simple, mom-and-pop businesses that don't want to overly embrace technology.

Pros

Very simple, bare bones software that is as cheap as it gets compared to other CRMs.

Cons

It's like a glorified Excel spreadsheet, but not as good.

### "Liking AMA"

Mostly positive. Use the CRM and AMA. AMA is easy to use and the stats go into the CRM. One Stop Shop.

Pros

All in one affordable solution for a CRM with AMA.

Cons

APC does not have all the functionality of the Desktop version. Therefore we have RDB's and sync so that we have the extra functionality. Often times the ACT servers are too busy for us to sync successfully during the day. We have to wait until after hours to sync.

I've had a 9/10 experience with Act. I would compare it to the other competitor platforms out there, but Act's customer service is better.

Pros

The platform is pretty user friendly and their customer service is excellent. we needed a few screen share tutorials and they were easy to book and navigate solutions to our issues and queries.

Cons

It can sometimes be a little buggy, especially at the company level and the marketing automation.

I've used this for over 20 years and it's helps me remember every contact that I've made. Now I have email folders that I need to refer to since I don't always have the time to reiterate what is in the emails into the Act! file.

Pros

It organizes my contacts and the notes updates me quickly to what's happening with that account. Documents for each customer are also at my fingertips.

Cons

It takes too long to load. I have to open it first at the beginning of my day so nothing else interferes with the time to load. (I just updated it with your customer service and it still takes longer than I'd like, FYI).

The tech support person was very friendly and really knows the system. He found an error that prevented the email campaign from going out.

Pros

Like to use this system for emailing my customers instead the other emailing services, saves time and money and records.

Too techy for me. I don't have the tech skills to work a lot of the programs and need help.

I've been using it since the 1980's... It was a DOS application! I've added thousands of contacts and used it for mail merge purposes.

Pros

It has a lot of CRM features at a reasonable price.

Cons

There's no integration between it, and Google Contacts, or the integration is not comprehensive...

### "To The Rescue once again! "

I have been an ACT user for many years and as a contact manager and word processor it is at the core of our Wedding Photography business other than our photography tools. As with any electronic program, for time to time there are hick-ups and in most cases a call to the technical support department fixes or corrects the issue. However, on occasion something more difficult to rectify occurs. In two such cases, on in early 2022, which pretty much shut us down and currently one less serious, but bothersome currently. In the 1st situation, candidly we were very perplexed as none of the standard technical community, could aid in resolving the issue. My frustration was so high that I started contacting members of the ACT management team, up to including the \[sensitive content hidden\] and staff. Shortly thereafter I was contacted by members of that team and directed to one portion of the technical organization in The United Kingdom. They were aware of the issue and worked tirelessly to develop a work around for our Company. Awesome job, which I sang their praises about back up the management chain. Currently, between a new laptop and an upgrade to my ACT system I was having an issue accessing my account in a timely manner. During that time frame and technicians tried to assist me, so even helped streamline other portions of the ACT system, but no relief in the issue at hand. Finally, I turned back to the team in The United Kingdom. Surprisingly my 1st contact remembered our situation and indicated that he would have someone investigate it, which was done expeditiously. After much research my technical contact determined that is issue was not that of the ACT software but probably that of another existing program that was interfering with ACT because of the transfer from my previous laptop to the present and to further assist provided a document for my support IT department to consider. Once again, this organization went over and above, which based on my experience is their norm – another 5 Stars in my book – thanks again! I have been an ACT user for over 30 years. It has evovled with my business. I think I used to snyc it with my Palm Pilot! Today I continue to appreciate how it keeps the info on my precious clients. I am also very appreciative of the top-notch screen sharing technical support I get so quickly .

Cons

I wish I had the time to learn to use more features.
