I have used it for over 25 years and I find it invaluable.

Pros

The CRM is a good but it is great as a tool to send personalized emails and letters to groups of people.

Cons

It takes up a lot of memory and with a low gig computer can be an issue.

Very positive and driven. Even though the in-depth customisation may slow things down from time-to-time, the robustness does give us the ability to fully customize the product that matches our needs.

Pros

It's UX and UI. Combine that with the peace of mind knowing our data is secure, and the amazing customer support whenever we have a question or the on-going training for using Act! and mobile access, we feel that those features alone elevate the value for money about our investment to manage our emails for our marketing and sales team.

Cons

At times, the in-depth customisation capabilities can feel a little clunky and slow, which can add to a loss of efficiency of human capital.

It's okay. We don't use the actual CRM but only the calendar and contact info because there is so much legacy info in there.

Pros

Sharing a calendar and viewing others event is helpful. Also, creating to-do items and appointments for others. We also use it to reserve our conference room.

Cons

Notifications for to-do items aren't prominent enough. The alerts should pop up like appointment reminders do.

### "You can go home again w/all the modern technology "

If you used ACT years ago, and left? Go back. This is the way it used to be. But their \[sensitive content hidden\] and his team have brought all the things that were great about it 30 years ago and now it’s in the 21st Century.

Pros

It’s ease of use. Great onboarding so it feels like home again. Email features are great too, and are easy to use.

Cons

I have trouble if I have to move fields around. I’m a one man band with multiple email addresses. Unfortunately, I cannot afford multiple ACT accounts.

### "Useful but we need to help ourselves"

Have used it for many years but had a wide gap in there before we got back to it. Hoping to get everything caught up so that we can actually use ACT to our benefit!

Pros

Saves without wiping out someone else's work on another computer and online. Customer Support was great when we were having trouble installing due to our internet. Everyone kept on top of it. Have not had a chance to dive in to use it. Hope to this year.

Cons

The annual fee to use it. When I first started with ACT! it was a software purchase. I much prefer it that way. The expense is killing us right now until we get everything caught up. Having troubles with sync'ing computer with online. Need to call CS for help with this. Also having trouble figuring out a way to NOTE all at once and then delete those from a lookup. Again need to research and/or call CS.

Overall experience with Act has been good. Would like to have a better app for your phone. and can sink with your phone

Pros

Doing email Marketing keeping up with customers in one location would like to have it more to be able to delete old customers

Cons

Act does not have built in email I get used to have. It's not as robust as it used to be when it was a program you could put on a Mac. And the online version that still does not work very well with Mac

Customer Support is responsive understandable and easy to understand when trying to provide support for complex problem

Pros

Ease of Use and responsiveness of Customer Support. They don't make you wait and the Customer Support team is knowledgeable and assist even when you don't quite know what you are asking as a non-IT person

Cons

Mobile Access - have never used it and see no reason to so I cannot really evaluate it. If the Mobile access is anything like their program I'm sure it is easy to use.

Now it is great. We have it setup exactly as we want it and we are in touch with the Customer Success Team who has been fantastic.

Pros

Ease of use and customization. It was easy to setup exactly as we wanted it and its easy to use, it also has a great library of how to videos.

Cons

Customer service initially. We had some issues with the first line of customer service but then we were directed to the Customer Success Team and that has been great.

Been using Act since 1999. I have the option of using redtail at no cost, but I choose to pay for Act. Great contact management system.

Pros

Act! is a stable platform and is extremely user friendly. The appearance is fully customizable and I'm looking forward to trying the app.

Cons

Honestly, there are no real cons with Act. I lost some data years ago because I hadn't backed up recently, but that was my fault. Now with the cloud, that's not an issue at all.

Been using it for 30 years! Love it! The history function and like I said the calendar function are my favorites. I admittedly probably only use 5% of what it can do for me.

Pros

The calendar and scheduling function is my favorite feature. I have tried others and nothing compares.

Cons

Nobody I know in my industry is using it. No one. Which I find strange for Commercial Real Estate.

### "25 Years and still happy!"

I could not be happier. Thousands of my contacts at my fingertips set up the way that works for me.

Pros

I have been with ACT since 1998. I have owned many versions and just upgraded to the Cloud version. They have added a mobile app (that was lacking before and the reason I almost left), added project and pipeline management, and interactive quotes to name a few of the new features. When I switched to the cloud, I had an issue getting my database converted. As I was struggling with that, my phone rang. It was ACT calling to see if I needed help with anything. I said yes and within 2 minutes, I had a support specialist remoted on my computer fixing my problem (not theirs - I sent the wrong file).

Cons

What's not to like. I hope they continue to add features and expand upon the integrated features. Act! should be the first place you look.

Nothing special to talk about I've given multiple suggestions and never heard back about feedback that I've given to him i've been using ac for almost 30 years

Ease of use To be able to modify it for my needs and to print labels and easy to use for searches On the desktop version I can print labels but I cannot on the web version

In my business, tracking calls and setting meetings is very important. ACT! has served me well over the years.

Pros

I have been using ACT! as my contact management system for over 25 years. The system has evolved into an overall first class tool in my business. I like the software's ability to track my emails to clients for future reference. The company's customer support is great. Whenever I have had any issues, they respond quickly to my needs. They understand that time is money for business owners. Over the years I have considered other software for my business and I continue to find that ACT! serves my needs well It is a great value for the cost. It has more features than I need for my business.

Cons

Honestly, I have not found anything about ACT! that I did not like. The excellent support their technology team provides give me piece of mind that I don't have to concern myself with issues that come up from time to time.

My experience is good. I have used ACT! since 1998 when I worked for another company. I started my own business in 2001 and purchased this program for myself.

Pros

I can enter data about my customer. I can set reminders to ck in on my customer. I don't have to write notes on paper.

Cons

the cost of the program keeps increasing. I don't see any improvements to increase the pricing. I don't know how to trouble shoot the program and I have never been successful in figuring out how to use some of the features it has.

I've had a very good experience using ACT. I started way back when they sent you a disk in the mail to download the database and have stayed with them ever since.

Pros

The product is very easy to work with and is continually updating to make using the database even more efficient.

Cons

I wish the cost was free! That would always help with our bottom line. I joke of course. The cost is still very reasonable.

Great time saver, organizational tool, and features galore. Customer service is always helpful the few times I had to call, and they are constantly updating and improving the program.

Pros

ACT saves me time and increases my productivity by having all my information for clients, and the tools to help, in one, easily navigable pkace.

Cons

I can't honestly think of anything that I don't like. I have been using it for 15+ years with little to no issues, and when I do have a problem, customer service is always helpful and friendly.

Pros

I love being able to have all my contacts and information about my contacts all in one app. I also love that it is connected with outlook which makes sending emails that much easier.

The history we are able to save was valuable and we resisted making a switch but now I believe we will have to switch. I wanted to control my history now we will likely loss it when we switchn

Not Great. I had a hard time with customer support anytime I needed help. Usually waited on hold for over an hour.

Pros

I liked that it keeps all the records in the same place, but the data was not very organized. I did not care for it.

Cons

I did not like Act Remote database version. It was very slow and archaic. It was hard to use and would freeze all the time.

Slow response. Difficult to read calendar. Format of Customer records. From set up to moving from calendar to contacts. Too slow. I feel like I am sitting forever and often go to other tasks during wait.
