Overall, the experience with SC Training has been very positive. Document control has increased significantly due to the direct turnover of completed documents from the field to the office. Having forms completed digitally allows information to be submitted immediately, improving organization, accessibility, and efficiency. This has helped streamline our processes and ensures documentation is received quickly and consistently.

Pros

We have used SafetyCulture to successfully convert many of our paper forms into digital forms. This has made our processes more efficient and easier to manage, especially in the field. Having digital forms allows our crews to complete documentation directly from their phones or tablets, which helps ensure information is captured clearly and consistently. It also makes it easier to store, track, and retrieve records when needed. Moving from paper to digital has improved organization, reduced paperwork, and helped streamline our overall workflow.

Cons

The licensing structure can be a bit confusing. We are able to have three users on one license, which can sometimes make it difficult to clearly track who completed a specific form. If field crew members forget to enter their name on the form, it can be unclear who actually submitted the documentation. This can create extra follow up and makes record tracking less straightforward than it could be.

Positive. We were a new start up and the software helped us excel our growth and systems. Its ease of use and value for money was a key selling point for us.

Pros

Safety Culture out the box is easy to use, set up and roll out. It helps us with our Quality workflows and ensures we collaborate effectively across several teams throughout our manufacturing and servicing processes.

Cons

Not a lot not to like. The knowledge around analytics was limited and not the easiest thing to pick up once you are down the road of having embedded processes. If you were to have known the capability of analytics from the start and how it worked you would set up all your processes to feed in to this functionality.

\- Positive the assessment are robust and many different options are available? - Easy to use no - Nice looking UI

Pros

Ease of use and built in AI to accelerate the creation process. I have personally created a large number of courses on the platform when it was still called EdApp.

Cons

\- My use case was creating content and reselling it with SC being the back end but this use case was not ideal. The platform is better suited for Corporate training - The content generated by A.I. was very generic, not necessarily good enough to even be a starting point

It's a well designed platform with a wide feature set. Though it is geared towards safety, it makes for a great general learning management system as well.

Pros

Easy to use interface and I like the breadth of training and templates available, both from Safety Culture as well as other users. The course designer is very robust and offers lots of different options for content.

Cons

I really haven't found much I haven't like with Safety Culture, especially by the fact that I have only been using the free version. There are so many features offered and it's not even Premium.

Pros

The range of engaging options for courses and content. The AI function is brilliant, saves time and the hassle of setting something up from scratch. The opportunity to make the training courses your own with logos and themes is fantastic. The ability to share with learners so easily is also a great point.

Cons

Some areas with formatting can be a little complex and the setup of live lessons can be confusing.

We needed a single training course for a small group of employees. With EdApp, we were able to take one of their pre-designed courses, modify it for our situation, and have it ready for our employees in one day. They were able to access the training material immediately with no additional support needed. Overall, we couldn't be happier.

Pros

We needed a single training course for employees, along with periodic refreshers. EdApp had a pre-designed course covering the material that we needed, and it allowed us to customize the content for our specific situation. It was very easy to make the modifications and set up our learners. In less than a day, we had a complete solution, and best of all it was free. EdApp has several interactive ways of presenting course material, so it is engaging for learners. The courses can be accessed on smart phones, tablets, or computers, which is very convenient.

Cons

There is a bit of a learning curve to overcome when designing or modifying courses. Once you understand the different course and page elements, and get used to the interface, it's very easy.

Reasons for choosing SC Training

There are a number of other online training options. We chose this one because they already had a course that met our needs. But even if you have to design your own course from scratch, I would still choose EdApp. It has all the tools you will ever need, and it's quick and easy.
